No - not this year, I'm afraid. :3 I have a friend visiting from Australia in September and we're going to Dragon*Con and then Orlando, Florida, so my money is being spent on various things to prepare for that trip. xD

Well, ok, I went to UnixExpo...what can I say. I was a computer geek.

@Xandriana: My mother has an older cookbook like that, all "International" cuisine. By which they mean American, French, German, and Swedish...

I went to ICON this year... that was pretty fun.

Dragon*Con is by far my favorite. ::laughs:: Great stars, the panels are the best I've ever been to, and there's a really good mixture of genres. From hard science (like, NASA level stuff), to costuming, to anime, to (insert favorite sci-fi/fantasy comic, show, movie, book, etc).

I've never heard of that one.

ICON is in Long Island, NY... it's probably not that big, but it's the biggest one I've been to.
