@ Deia ::

Ce n'est pas vrai.
You JUST started saving up again, so that's not bad at all.
Gasketeer are not failures!
:' <

@ Urbeth ::

That's good to hear!
:' D
I'm doing alright, just trying to get enough seeds for a second set of items right now, and then maybe some event commons.
What's your line of work?

aleeloo 06-02-2010 05:58 PM

*gives to Deia helping hand*

Deia 06-02-2010 06:00 PM

Haha yeah, 26 gears. XD It likes giving me items that are not in my profession lol.
Thanks for the helping hand aleeloo!

----------

So I've been posting like crazy for the event was about to end today, and then they extend it XD

----------

It never gives me flowers<--primary profession XD
and that is the only thing I don't need to save up too. Gah

Popcorn Gun 06-02-2010 06:03 PM

They tend to do that, lol.
I remember wanting gears at one point, but all I was getting were spanners.
x' P

And I am TOO pleased that it was extended, because I only JUST joined the event yesterday.
x' D

edit ::

Awww, je suis desolee.

Deia 06-02-2010 06:06 PM

Yeah, Mene is playing games with me xD

I am pleased too. But in a way not. xD I need to study for the SATs and this is gonna distract me, like now LOL

Chickie Nuggs 06-02-2010 06:07 PM

Hehe I see a lot of people who are studying for something.

Popcorn Gun 06-02-2010 06:08 PM

That Afrodonkey, he's a stinker isn't he.
And ooooh, I JUST got out of school, but this always happens to me during the holiday events.
I'm sorry.

-Power hour winding down-

Milady Purity 06-02-2010 06:10 PM

School's done for the day, once more.. XD

Chickie Nuggs 06-02-2010 06:11 PM

Currently in summer break. :lol:

Milady Purity 06-02-2010 06:11 PM

Demo: Aww, lucky~

Popcorn Gun 06-02-2010 06:13 PM

I started Summer break too.
:' D

But since my school lets out earlier, we also get back earlier...But it's alright, we get all the sunshine and such.
:' )

Milady Purity 06-02-2010 06:14 PM

I wanna enjoy the sun.. D: But then again, I don't like the heat that much... ^^

Chickie Nuggs 06-02-2010 06:17 PM

Me neither. I love sunny days, but I do not like heatwaves. :lol:

Milady Purity 06-02-2010 06:19 PM

A heatwave came through Massachusetts, and I was really unhappy, because even in my seaside town, it was 90 degrees or so... GAH, I hate heat.... ;o;

Chickie Nuggs 06-02-2010 06:20 PM

I read in the newspaper that it's going to be 95 degrees on Friday over here. :cry:
I'm not ready...

Milady Purity 06-02-2010 06:21 PM

I wouldn't be ready either...

Popcorn Gun 06-02-2010 06:22 PM

I hate hot weather, but sometimes you'll get that perfect day.
Where the sun is shining, but the clouds are out too, and the wind is blowing.
Those days where there's so many things you can do.
c ':

Milady Purity 06-02-2010 06:22 PM

I like those days.. :3

Hey, Teamsters! Am sneaking some chat in during my open office hours. Only one student came to ask how his grade was doing, and fortunately I could tell him that if he aced the final and did the extra credit, he could still (barely) pull an A. Poor kid -- a science major in a music history class. They all think it'll be an easy A, but then they realize they actually have to use their brains.

Szinriia 06-02-2010 06:24 PM

I like sunny/hot weather but then I am in England so we don't see it much. ;P

It has been sunny today. (:

I actually have an internship this summer. I am working on setting up programming (activities, events, etc) for a group of ten students entering college this fall. It is for a NSF 9National Science Foundation) grant that we received for furthering women and minorities in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) areas.

It's nice that I can set my own hours, but I would rather be at home! ^^;

scholar 06-02-2010 06:25 PM

@Szin: I love English weather, honestly. I think it's because I grew up in the fog but my mother kept moving us further south to sunny weather, so I really miss it.

That's such a great thing to be doing! I initially started college as an astrophysics major, but the competition for summer jobs was really fierce, and none of the labs were interested in me. I'm doing better in my new field, now.

Milady Purity 06-02-2010 06:27 PM

Did I hear Music History?

I love music and History!
Also, speaking of Music and stuff... I'm dating a decendant of Johann Sebastian Bach. Not kidding. Really, his name's O'Malley Bach. He's on the internet. First picture on Google if you type in his name in Images. XD
I was excited when I could actually get a reference picture of him for a painting i'm doing...

Szinriia 06-02-2010 06:27 PM

Yeah, I guess when it is hot here it's usually just the right amount of heat. It doesn't get uncomfortable. (unless you are in a tent!)

I just wish we got a little bit more of it!

scholar 06-02-2010 06:29 PM

@Milady: Cool, the Bach name is quite common, actually. There's a student in our class with a Bach last name, too!
