Alexial_Rose; I'm in my last mandatory year of school, but I'm gonna take the extra two optional years, which means more time with my lickle friends and g/f. It's annoying having a g/f in a younger year, cause people keep calling me a pedo. SO annoying.

Optional years? o.o I never heard of that? I wish we had that option to stay longer in school. That does sound weird, but Highschool is free education lol :D

Alexial_Rose; Schools in England are weird. We have to stay in school until we're 16, then we can either get a job, go to college or do 6th form, which is an extra 2 years in school ^^

Oh that's nifty. I'd stay the extra two years for the learning and friends. I'm sure if that option was available here in the states a bunch of kids would leave at 16.. Because I know a lot of kids that just dropped out of school :[

Alexial_Rose; Well, I can't get into uni if I don't either go to college or 6th form, and I can't be a teacher if I don't go to uni, so it seems the smartest thing to do ^^

Schools all over are so different. I guess I'm glad I can stick with just 4 year school then go to college.. But then again we have confusing things too. Like Running start. Where High school students can go to college for 2 years to finish high school and get a jump start on college. I wish i could have done that. @[email protected] |
Alexial_Rose; I always have to look up how American school years work on wikipedia. I used to think it was American school that were weird but actually, I think it might be English schools that are the weird ones .__.

I think i might have confused some people before with it... Some middle schools/junior high school have 4 years instead of 3 or was it 2 years? I don't know. But the number of years for each school seems to very depending on which state you are.. And when you start and end school
.. And that is weird. o_o They should just be the same to avoid confusion. :P |
