I remember one time I slipped on the stairs on a bus, everyone laughed. It really wasn't that funny, it was just that the stairs were slick from the rain and I wasn't careful. Talk about you're immature adults.
But, yeah, other than the laughing, I sort of understand how you feel. |
how did u fall?
That is not funny! People get so numb to the world.
How did you fall? What happened?
SOCKS. That's how I fell. ;p
Just another reason to hate them. |
Rubber sole house slippers- I HAVE to have them. You can also get socks with those little rubber nubby things
Socks, huh. I don't wear them much myself, mainly because I prefer to wear sandals and it's on less thing I have to wash.
I don't usually sleep in my socks, but I did last night. I don't think I'll repeat that though. I'm glad I didn't break anything though, I think the last time I fell down the stairs I broke a finger.
Oh, breaking. I'm lucky I've never experienced that, especially when you consider the fact I've been hit by a car three times in my lifetime already.
Morning, everyone.
Ouch, Harley - I always knew socks were evil. I knew it! |
But it is good you didn't break anything. It would suck to have to wear a cast.
I had to wear a cast for a broken wrist once. And how the hell do you manage to not break anything yet you've experienced being hit by a car three times? o_O
Even if you don't think you need it, go ahead and ice it. You wont get as good results if you realize later you need ice and try to do it then.
Wow. SOCKS ARE EVIL NOW!!! >O
I have only been hit by a car once, but I have never broken any bones either, and I am in my 30s. I am also very limber- may be the reason
This may be a little gross.. but to me, it's pretty awesome. Check out this bruising:

Well, all of it happened out in california, and each time I was on a bicycle.
Wow, that is really red. Definately ice it. |
wow its pink
oh definitely ice that! Sorry to be so redundant
I have broken bones on two incidents - both relatively minor, but in very unpleasant spots.
One was in my finger - because it was not allowed to heal properly, it still bothers me occasionally, even though the actual injury has long since healed. It is actually a very good exercise in pain management. The other incident involved two small, mostly static bones in my foot that were crushed by a falling object - namely my guitar. I had not practiced in some time and to this day I believe it was angry at me. Emerging consciousness? o_O Wow, Harley. That looks...quite impressive. Doesn't that...sting quite a bit? |
Oh I will, it's still burning. But it's so weird, I've never had a bruise like that. Like.. that's not bleeding out or anything, it's not scaping, that's all internal bleeding. I like it.
I'll be taking a 45 min. break. I'll be back soon.
I still have a question. How did you actually get it? Just fell?
It is quite fascinating to look at, I have to say.
Then again, every time I get a bruise that is larger than a fingertip, I tend to stare at it for hours. Of course, my bruises are very, very odd colors - further adding to the alien jokes... |
Yeah. I was walking and *whoopsidaisy* fell on my ass and travelled down the stairs somewhat less efficiently.
Alien jokes eh? Do tell. See ya Kamarie. ^^ |
