Well, to be fair, it does cost a lot of money with the amount of users (dead or active) on the site, not to mention having an actual game and other flash things. So I can understand the need for their cash shop and everything to an extent. I just think the developers are heading the site in the wrong direction, and aren't giving one lick about how they're slowly alienating they're loyal, paying customers. *shrugs*

I remember they had an opinion survey a few weeks ago via e-mail. I wrote them an essay on how their customer service was lacking. 8D

I was a gardner this morning but used up all my flowers and switched to engineer used up my gears and i have 10 fkowers but it would cost 3 just tosswitch back sorry

@Saras- They have 3 people working on the zOMG team. They don't have much staff as it is. They managed to support themselves on Donation Items and Monthly Collectibles. But now they have evolving items (which are fun) and animated items. They are releasing MC worthy items in the cash shop for more than the MCs sell for. It's not right.

Elvilla: Precisely why I prefer Menewsha's community to Gaia's. Here, you can run around in your underwear and no one will take you more or less seriously than anyone else. On Gaia...good luck getting away with that.

And yes, many sites do have a reasonable need for a cash shop, Gaia included. However, Gaia often tends to run theirs the wrong way, and entirely ignore feedback.
Yet another thing I love about zOMG - their dev team is very active in the community; quite different from the rest of the developers and administrators.
