Heard of them, never heard anything by them.
you probably won't find a good version of it on Youtube. I could put it somewhere and link you one if you want though. |
I found one. I'm resourceful. :p
By the way, I just have to say.. I f'king hate Raoul. I hate him to death. |
Hello, Lillie. How are you?
Harley: I have considered it - however, most of their individual songs do not show much of a pitch range, so that makes me a little cautious about the idea. I have also been looking at Within Temptation, but although their songs are all well within my range (even on a bad day I can go half an octave higher than the highest note in most of their songs), they tend to play around a very difficult register change for me. And yes, I believe I have heard of Duffy. I remember the name from when I relied heavily on Pandora radio - though I do not remember any songs. |
Eh, where'd you find a good one? And I was talking about the musical version Rachel York did, though I guess the Linda Eder version is fine (I assume you found that one)
Within Temptation songs are so much fun to sing. I prefer their older stuff though. |
Oh music talk. ^_^
I'm afraid I'm a space oddity when it comes to music. xD |
I am a space oddity in general, Lillie. Feel free to speak up.
|
My favourite song by Duffy [and the one that lead me to her] was on the movie The Boat that Rocked, it was Stay With Me Baby. Very full of emotion and very powerful, in my opinion. Sad though..
Also: The Boat that Rocked. Go out and see it. It's about English pirate radio stations in the.. sixties [I guess] and it has a shitload of great songs. And great actors. Including Bill Nighy ! |
|
*clicks* Woah...this is trippy.
|
Rofl. Armani, if you sang this song you would be my hero: YouTube - The Puppy Song Harry Nilsson
|
Heh...yeah. xD
They're coming to a festival held in my city every year for 10 years now. ^^ Can't wait... :squee: |
Lillie, that's quite interesting. I like it. o_o
Harley: ...nice. xD I...I will consider it. xD I will at least record it sometime. |
Hm. I didn't find that I liked that very much. The music was drab and, while the video's compilation technique had potential, I found that it fell short. That might've been due to the dull music though..
The Puppy Song is another happy, friendly, smile-inducing one. I like keeping songs like those on hand. |
Anyone ever heard the Rex Smith versions of Falcon in the Dive and Where's the Girl? That man can sing *sighs* Oh or his version of Sunset Boulevard, that song is lulzy love.
You must hear them! http://rexsmith.com/media.php All three of them are there. They sound a bit better on the CDs but eh they're still good there. |
Do you mean Rex Smith the actor or singer?
|
Both? He was a sappy love song and pop singer turned amazing broadway actor/singer.
|
.. did he play Lockstock in a version of Urinetown?
|
Heehee. Yeah, they boggle my mind. ^_^
|
Not that I know of, but I could be wrong? No idea what that is really so *shrugs*
|
Don't forget to participate in the Mission and get random junk from the Shed. ^^
Oh, you don't know the musical Urinetown? It's recent [from what I've heard] so that's not so surprising. It's my school's musical this year. |
Thanks for the reminder o.o
|
