Bye!!!

mwahhaha 05-26-2010 05:54 PM

Bye, Usuke.

Amani, cool. What I really really want is a mini-herb garden to put in my - screw that, I want a huge herb garden. It can take up my whole yard (except for where I have berries) if it wants. <3 I think that would be perfect. . .

Rhum, maybe the flowers are glitching??

Doomfishy 05-26-2010 05:55 PM

I had a windowsill mini-rose garden, for a while.

And then it died.

:(

The Roze 05-26-2010 05:55 PM

Awww
I love roses! (you never would have guessed from my name)

mwahhaha 05-26-2010 05:56 PM

D: Ah, that's sad, Doomfishy. Roses are right up there with lilacs, so pretty. And having it just by your window like that makes them so much cooler.

Rhumbullion 05-26-2010 05:56 PM

Roses do that. They are really picky. Out here in Oregon they thrive year-round.

mwahhaha 05-26-2010 05:56 PM

Oregon sounds like a gardeners/ plant lovers dream.

Doomfishy 05-26-2010 05:57 PM

Windowsill plants were the only ones I could have back then. I lived in a dorm at the time.

Rhumbullion 05-26-2010 05:58 PM

Oregon is a great place to garden. Kinda. This year it's really rainy so I haven't been able to fully weed at work without getting POURED on.

The Roze 05-26-2010 05:58 PM

When I was little my mum gave me this patch of the garden where I grew lots of flowers... and then slugs came along and ate them all :(

Kalium 05-26-2010 05:59 PM

Aww, thatīs too bad.

Doomfishy 05-26-2010 05:59 PM

In the northwest they've got banana slugs.

And they're AWESOME.

Robard 05-26-2010 05:59 PM

Hello, Sprocket!

Alas! I've never had much success with attractive dorm plants either... My ornamental peppers and pretty little ficus died.

So jealous of everyone's berry plants! I used to love eating the wild raspberries out of our backyard, but the patch got razed to landscape/put in a patio. D:

Rhumbullion 05-26-2010 06:00 PM

We DO! And they are HUGE.

Quantum Angel 05-26-2010 06:00 PM

My mother has a small rose bush in the house at the moment. It is supposedly thornless.

Last night it fell from the shelf where it is sitting. I caught it and saved it...and found this not to be true.

My pain tolerance was quite useful there.

The Roze 05-26-2010 06:00 PM

I hate slugs. I really, really really hate slugs. I hate anything slimy, really

Squall_Leonhart234 05-26-2010 06:01 PM

*yawns and curls up* ._. sleep good

Doomfishy 05-26-2010 06:01 PM

Normal slugs are gross.

Banana slugs are sexy.

Yes, sexy.

Red Carpet Massacre 05-26-2010 06:01 PM

haha im going to play audi while my 15 minutes gets up xD you guys have fun with your flowers o.o lol~

Robard 05-26-2010 06:01 PM

Really glad the local slugs aren't as big as those. D:

Rhumbullion 05-26-2010 06:01 PM

In the college of...Santa clarita...I think. CA. Their mascot is a banana slug.

The Roze 05-26-2010 06:03 PM

I used to scream every time I saw a slug. Now I just squirm and get as far away from it as possible.

Doomfishy 05-26-2010 06:03 PM

Oh, look - the slug conversation killed the thread. D:

Rhumbullion 05-26-2010 06:03 PM

Lol. It's okay, Doomy. I don't mind slugs...unless they eat my garden. Otherwise, they are okay by me.

mwahhaha 05-26-2010 06:04 PM

I'm not a HUGE slug fan, but I think snails are adorable. :3
