oh Momo I absolutely LOVE Kara. I typically agree with her one hundred percent of the time and she makes me laugh!

Eh, Johnny Depp isn't one of my favorite actors, personally. He's too flashy, and... He's sunk into such a typecast in the past decade. He used to be a jack of all trades type, but now he's gotten so commercialized, I kind of lost touch with him as an artist. :(

See I never really liked johnny depp except as Jack Sparrow and now I love him. I love that movie actually it's probably my favorite movie ever. I'm still trying to decide whether or not if it tops Dark Knight, but I guess I really don't look for anything deep in movies, ever. I spend my entire time analyzing books, all the time even if I'm reading a romance novel for fun, I'm ALWAYS analyzing them. So movies are just mindless entertainment for me. But even then I think this version of Alice has a lot of potential for being analyzed and taken apart if I ever want to look at it that way. Same way I feel about Dark Knight

I liked Johnny Depp in Pirates, but I haven't really watched much else of him. My mom loves comedies, so I grew up on a lot of Robin Williams and Jim Carry.

Can you recall many movies in the past decade that he hasn't been playing a pirate in, or that wasn't a Burton movie? I think that speaks enough for itself, really... Tim Burton's movies aren't all that different from one to the next. The genre's the same, the mood of the movie's the same. Any recurring actor tends to become flavorless, to me. :(

Then again, I'm a bit of a movie snob. :rofl: I have a lot of issues with movies for many reasons. Can't make them quite like they did in the '50s thru the '90s, in my opinion.

well every movie you see nowadays facade is based of something else. No movie is original anymore. Kind of annoying in my opinion but whatever. As long as they don't ruin Unwind when they make it into a movie (or Everlost) I'm fine
