I'm not too fond of the head feathers.

They're a bit too long.

I think that if they were multicolored, I'd understand that they were head feathers. But since they're not, it looks like a funky section of dyed hair. :(

Okay, quick question. Why are the starling feathers purple? Do starlings come in purple? I wouldn't know, since the only ones we have are sort of blackish with a sheen, and they're not even native.

Purple? Starlings are black, but a purple ish cast, I think.
