I just think they could have found a more fitting actor for the role of the Prince of Persia instead of a white guy. Hollywood sure likes to whitewash. =/

Hasn't it always been though? I know there's a big kerfuffle over the Avatar: The Last Airbender movie because most of the cast in that one is white too.

Maybe it's just the media that makes it seem so bad. Or does it make it worse? Both?

Most of the cast of Avatar is white but they do have some non white people too
but maybe they were just the ones that were the best suited for the part

I don't like how Hollywood's going to remake the movies by Stieg Larson's books... was it... Millenium? Can't remember. And I recently heard they were going to do Jar City/Mýrin too...

I haven't really been following the issue, but I believe once the casting rumors came out, there was such a fandom outcry that the movie scrambled around and picked up an extra ethnic actor or two. I dunno, I can see why people are angry.

Have any of you seen the supernatural series by the cw? It's practically bleeding of slash/yaoi. I swear, it may not say it out right, but the fans sure like those guys together. lol

My friend wanted me to watch Supernatural. She even sent me some episodes. I watched ten of them before I gave up. I just couldn't get into it.
