life depressing enough, why watch or read depressing stuff

Tatsu: Well actually my life is not as depressing now as it was a few years ago, actually it feels like I am heading the right way for once... :) Also I need to know that they get eachother in the end....

i can not keep watching stuff that is depressing. parents like those tv shows of criminals. lots of bad stuff, i not like it

fantasy is good too cause i know it is not real. real stuff like crime shows more depressing for me cause it does and could happen

I don't really watch anything depressing. Although I will.
I really like comedy stuff, but not everything I watch is comedy. I do watch shows that are drama...and deal with crime. But I don't care for like Law & Order and CSI. But I love NCIS!

Not to offence any of you, but American crime series, are just not what I define as crime series... It's more action movie-esque series, the ones from Scotland, England and Sweden on the other hand... where people don't just run around and shoot eachother down, but actually do a lot of serious crime investigation...

As I said, not to offence anyone, there's just too much action in the American series for my taste...

Granny: I wouldn't know, we have completely different stations here... I actually don't know how many Swedish/English/Scottish crime series they send in America.... I heard they'd reproduce one of the Swedish ones... called Men Who Hates Women, but I'm not sure that'd be the same...
