Yep, we have about 22 hours until the newest EI is released. I predict a collective moaning because EIs always get MORE EXPENSIVE not less, and people have been having trouble collecting as many seeds as they would otherwise due to the glitches. I saw a random person say something along the lines of "I'll be fine if it's not more than 8 seeds"... as the last one is 10 I predict the next one will be 20 =/

Ever since I made a suggestion for an AMV to someone in the Manties thread, I've been obsessing over Reboot AMVs. I found one to the song that was suggested but the theme wasn't right/as I imagined it. I did find one that seemed to shine pretty well, and one that was just funny because they used a song from a Sailor Moon fight, which aired on Toonami right before ReBoot during its best block ever.
By the way, Sensible, would you mind if I sent you a friend request? I've been watching you in the FAQ and though the mods have implied that you're getting annoying and/or repetative, it is mainly because you are asking that the issues be at least acknowledged with "We are aware of it, it is a glitch, and we're working on it" instead of hearing nothing until it's fixed. You seem to be one of the very few who have actually read all of the posts and seem to be on top of things. |
Aww, I'm flattered, Crow. At the risk of sounding stalkery, I've kept my eye on you as well and you seem very much like...well. *bad pun bad pun* A sensible sort of person. I'd welcome it. ^_^
I'm also thinking ahead towards the end of the event when they put up the traditional 'event feedback' thread...I'm already prewriting some of what I'm going to post to it. Including a quiet complaint about a mod that was quite rude to me. I'm now getting a bit shy of posting in there, because if said mod decides to forcibly quiet me...poof there goes my account, my friends, and the £40 or so I've poured into this site directly from my own pocket book. But at the same time...maybe I'm naive in thinking that there's got to be protections against that sort of thing, right? But at any rate, I digress. Would you like to work together with me on a Pre-"Post-Event Feedback Thread" rough draft? |
I think both stalking and bad puns are common enough around these parts where I'm not put off.
Also, I wouldn't mind proofreading what you have so far; it would most likely be rephrasing or word choice changes. You seem to have a handle on spelling and grammar, which is more than I can say for the general populace of Gaia. |
I could tell Gaia stories that would make your already wild hair curl. >.> But I'd be happy to get suggestions and suchlike, not just a beta read. You've got a lot of good ideas yourself.

Sensible- It would need to see what you have drafted before I would have any idea what to add. It seems the average age here on Menewsha is older than that of Gaia. We are both examples of that. I trust that you at least have a Bachelor's degree, as do I. My major was actually Primary Education, so I have had quite a bit of practice breaking things down and making them coherent, clear, and just generally understandable to the audience.

Actually I'm a college dropout, though that was from lack of funding. I'm currently employed as a counter monkey, though I moonlight as a philosopher and if you ever want interesting reading I can forward you on to a place that is supposed to be multiple people's submissions but seems to have become my regular column for the past three months.
I was raised by older than average parents and a live-in grandmother, so despite the fact that I'm only turning 23 later this year, I was raised on tales of wartime rationing and having respect drilled into my head to the point of which my teachers at school even when I was a young child had to repeatedly tell me to relax. I note you've got various IM mediums embedded in your profile, as I mine. You're more than welcome to help yourself to your preferred platform from my profile, as I have no preference. ^_^ |
