Oh Em Gee...

Yesterday was sooo freaking busy!!! I ended up finishing the first 5 arties though thank goodness, and then worked an 8 hour shift, and then ended up going all over the place last night -cough- 8 - 4am - cough- as the beginning of pride week here.

Sooo good news? Although I'm behind schedule I'm now starting to work on the next 5 arties... DUN DUN DAAA

And of course if the event finishes before I end up finishing everyone who is on the waiting lists art... I'll be finishing it anyway and pm'n you later in the week or next 2 weeks :)

Just trying to keep everyone in the loop woop woop. I'll have access to my scanner tomorrow so I'll try to get up as many arts as possible!

Luckily I've started being more active in the community since a very close friend of mine came out and she really has no one in her close circle of friends she can turn too. So we went down to the local club for ladies night, so many people all great, made a lot of friends and now we're all going to try to meet up for a few of the events that are going on throughout the week, as well as next sunday to meet up for the march.

It's going to be crazy fun.

I'm actually going to be living in the city where ours takes place this summer, so I'll be able to walk to all the events. No excuses this year!

I normally like going to the art shows and cafes/cocktail events that they set up.

There's a concert the first night that I'm looking forward to. And a cruise, that I really wish I could go on, but it's expensive. D:

I'm under 21, though, so I can't do a lot of the evening events. -sadface-

Ahh that sucks, I keep forgetting most places you dont' have to be just over 18 lol.

My friend went on the boat cruise that they had this past friday, she said it was fun but it was definitely kind of geared towards the older crowd as everyone there was probably mid 30's and older. But the ticket here for that was only $25 and it was all inclusive.

Whose going to be playing at the concert?

The Steph Pappas Experience, Antara, Alyx Lyons, and San Gordon. All pretty local groups.

I think ours is $35 - at least that's the number I heard. But all of my money is being saved up for rent and food during the school year.

Yah. Silly laws, keeping me from doing the fun stuff for a few more months.
