Thank you! (^O^)
This would totally be my first ever received menewsha avatar art!

aphrodite remix 05-27-2010 04:43 AM

@ Momo - for sure :3

@ koromyst - Aww cute! Well I hope it turns out well then >.<

TasiaChiba 05-27-2010 05:11 AM

Great art! I would love to nab a spot on your waiting list! You may do what you need to with my avvie as you see fit, really.

You can also remove the face part of the scarf if you need to, or remove it altogether. The rest is fairly simple, lol! (And human ears please!) ^__^

@ Suona - Why thank you :3, Although obviously when you're inking lineart is way easier for avi art, I like the dots because it lets ppl know I'm actually wanting to do a good job and not rush their art.

Although when I actually "do" art (sounds so bad) or like the arts on my dev account I prefer dots because its just fun. I get bored easily if I'm just sitting there shading/cross hatching upon hours. I'm actually working on a large piece for a friend right now looks pretty cool so far :3

You're welcome. ^^
and yeah, thats understandable. It looks nice with the dots and gives it a unique feel.

I can understand that. It seems like it'd also take a bit of thought in making sure you put the dots in the right spots.

aphrodite remix 05-27-2010 05:31 AM

Sure sounds good ^^, you caught me at a good time, I'm just working thru sketching all the poses now :)

@ Suona - Ah thank you :3 I haven't seen too many artists use dots so I think that's part of why I use them as well lol

Yeah, I used to try to shade faces with them, but its very difficult on the small scale that I draw the avi art so I don't bother, aside from that they're pretty easy >.<

*Hime* 05-27-2010 05:33 AM

That's a long list already! :o

aphrodite remix 05-27-2010 05:34 AM

lol, I guess

I'm done sketching 5 so far ^^, hopefully have the rest sketched in the next hour or 2, and then going to take my crap cam and take some pics for approval..

THEN BAM, hopefully I'll be able to crank out the entire list before the weekend, then I can take more orders... WEEEE

Suona 05-27-2010 05:36 AM

@ Aphrodite - Yeah, I haven't seen it very often either. I like it when people use it, though.

I bet. Faces would seem rather difficult.
Well, thats good then. Do you do it in pencil first or in pen?

aphrodite remix 05-27-2010 05:39 AM

I normally draw on shitty thin computer paper first, in pencil, to get the proportions right etc... get the clothes on roughly, then I get the approval..

Then I copy it up onto my thick Sketch paper.. I normally use the water color sketch paper so that it doesn't bleed the ink as easily.

And that's aboot it.

When I do art for friends or proper scale etc... I'll buy the bigger sheets of either media board or cold compress Water Color Paper and cut it down to what I need.

TasiaChiba 05-27-2010 05:43 AM

@ aphrodite remix: SO glad I'm not the only one who sketches on copy paper, buwahahaha! Although, unless I'm markering it, I usually leave the sketches on said paper... =dies= I use cardstock for my marker/mixed media works.

aphrodite remix 05-27-2010 05:45 AM

Hahahaha no kidding, If I'm doing a big piece though I just free hand it all and giv'r but that usually takes me hours because I'm so uber careful with everything.

With this avi art, because I'm going to try to pump out 12 pictures within the next 48 hours and it normally takes me 4hrs a pic lol, doing it on thinner crap paper and then transferring once, seems to be far smarter because it leaves far less room for error and makes things faster for me in general.

Bejamin Mason 05-27-2010 05:55 AM

Does... does no boys mean really no boys?

; ~;?

aphrodite remix 05-27-2010 05:59 AM

lol

Well you can certainly come and chat, that's totally okay...

However it means your chances of art are incredibly low - zero

Bejamin Mason 05-27-2010 06:02 AM

Aphrodite -

Well, I'll chat.

But, all I have to say to my chances is the following:

; n;

WhatifIamagirlinreallifewhatthenhuh?

aphrodite remix 05-27-2010 06:03 AM

Well...

I could always draw you :P

But your avi is a no go commander :P unless you want some bewbs on it ?

Bejamin Mason 05-27-2010 06:04 AM

Butbutbut

Can't it just have no boobs?

That's why I have a boy avatar

I HAVE NO BOOBS--

[/sob]

aphrodite remix 05-27-2010 06:08 AM

-pats head-

I understand, I even sympathize with you, however every male I attempt to draw comes out so lady like, its like may as well have drawn a girl.

Bejamin Mason 05-27-2010 06:10 AM

No, that is perfect. Just, a lady with no boobs.

THIS IS WHAT I DESIRE.

aphrodite remix 05-27-2010 06:13 AM

lol

well

good luck ^^

We'll see, but I really am not into drawing dudes. Sorry :(

Bejamin Mason 05-27-2010 06:16 AM

Baaw, okay.

Your girls are really incredible, though. I think I'll go watch you on DeviantArt...

TasiaChiba 05-27-2010 06:18 AM

I have a male OC that's so feminine he might as well BE a female... =whistles innocently= Used to be I couldn't draw males because they always, always looked like females, lol! I completely understand. ^__^

aphrodite remix 05-27-2010 06:18 AM

Aww well thankies, that's very sweet of you, and if I'm feeling adventurous and have time to experiment drawing a dude, then I'll let ya know -wink-

Ahhh they're coming out of the wood works now!!! lol, you and your male avis/oc's :P:P

Bejamin Mason 05-27-2010 06:24 AM

Aphrodite -
; w; Oh goodness thank you for the chance~
I just followed you, I'm Mary-Garden on dA.

Taisa -
But that's the best kind of OC!! At least in my opinion...

aphrodite remix 05-27-2010 06:26 AM

That sounds like a good process to me. Whatever works. lol
Does it end up using a lot of your papers, though?
