I guess if you guys were really into it, you could write in to local news outlets and maybe ESPN to see about getting coverage for CG? I mean, is their a national competition circuit for CG, or is it mainly local/state based?

there's a national competition and even guards from other countries. the japanese guard amaichi or however its spelled is really amazing.

oh it gets new coverage but never on anything major b/c people here color guard and they think band b/c DCI gets a lot of coverage and that's where you see most color guards. they never stop to think that there might be more.

i've seen it on some minor stations randomly... mostly on commercials never any thing major and i know all of nationals is filmed for something. I really think it might be a big deal in ohio but i don't know

yeah, its probably only big in ohio. I've never seen cg except on that gardasil commercial

Mm, I swore I saw an event a few years ago on one of the ESPN channels. I think it only gets highlighted in local media if one of the high schools scores well at competitions.
