totally dimi!! I should learn to fix internet and get tons of money by breaking them first and then fixing them!! MUAHAHA!!
|
Dimitri: I'm a Sprocket Engineer. D: You need a set?
Yeah, there's a lot of times I want to just get a temp job to just have money coming in, but I feel bad that I'll be up and leaving their workplace in a short span of time. I mean, even though my manager was my mom, I worked for the same employers for a little over seven years. I'm also kinda enjoying not being in school for the first time in my life. xD Kat: Just practice a lot! It's seriously the only reason I've improved. >> |
*cartwheels in for the hell of it*
Hey Dimi I saw your name and it instantly was like OMG where'd he go? I know the whole RL thing too well though. There's times where I fairly quiet for awhile (well for myself) cause I get too caught up in other RL crap. :XP I can't totally cut myself cold turkey though as I miss it too much. |
@Kat: Oooo, you are SOOOOO evil! :illgetu: ...I like that.
@Sarasvati: Meh, looks like the donation thingie is borked... :XP Otherwise, I'd donate gears to you to get the hammers. @Izumi: Heya, how's it going? I haven't seen you in quite a while. |
hi izumi!
I can't seem to get a summer job and I totally want to be out of school!! I'd practice arting now if I weren't too distracted by mene! oh yes, I LOVE being evil! |
Why do you want to be OUT, Kat? I'm enjoying my time in school and the flexibility it's given me. I'm going to be very sad to see it go. (Happy at the same time as I finally completed one of my long term goals...)
Dimi - It's sad as I got my husband to sign up for an account here but I can't seem to keep his interest. Especially not when it's competing with that blasted World of Warcraft game. :> |
because school is hard and lonely... -____-
|
Hi Izumi~.
For me, I was really just tired of putting up with the administrative side of things, I actually liked my classes a lot (er, bar one last year because of a group project). The last semester I had was also the last financial aid would support, so there was always that factor too, haha. Kat: Do most of your friends not go to your college? D: |
I don't have any friends closer than 3 hours away. I'm not good at making new friends either. I don't like class either...I dont' do well in structure and honestly I hate lectures with an undying passion.
|
Oops, sorry for disappearing. Got distracted by one of my RPs
@Izumi: Aww, another one spirited away by WoW, huh? Sorry to hear that. @Kat: I know how you feel. I lost track of pretty much all my friends after school. Except for two of them (who happened to get married and started a family). But, they now live in Utah while I live in Missouri. That's about a 8 - 9 hour drive if I'm hauling ass. It's normally a 13 hour drive or so. Needless to say, I haven't seen them in years. |
I want to try the new final fantasy morpg!!! :eager: I'm drawing art for a deviant art contest for it right now.
I still keep in touch with my high school friends. wings of writing (she's been in here a few times) is my best friend and I have 3 other high school friends on mene. w don't get to see each other much though. one of my friends goes to school in Missouri though and he doesn't come home because its a dang long way away! |
Kat: Aw, that sucks. :<
I had a pretty odd time of making new friends at my uni. I had a lot of acquaintances in my classes, but it seemed after a given class together ended, I didn't really associate with them? I transferred in, too, so most people already had their circle of friends and it seemed rather difficult to even get to know anyone unless they were new/just transferred in as well. My roommates were always awesome, though, I'm always thankful about that. :3 |
I was always bad at making good friends. it seems when I try to get close to the people in my classes, it never works. hopefully next year I won't have a crazy psycho-bitch for a roommate and I'll at least have someone to talk to offline. actually, I won't have a roommate next year. I just share a bathroom with the person next door.
that and most of my classes were not mainly freshman so I was younger than everyone... |
@Kat: There's a new FF MMORPG? I haven't heard about that yet. I never played the first MMORPG (FF11). I know that FF13 recently came out, though, and I want to play that one. But my PS3's hard drive died, so I need to get a new PS3 first (apparently, you can't just replace the hard drive like you can on a comp).
@Sarasvati: I lost track of my friends from high school and college. I guess they were mainly more along the lines of acquaintances than friends, looking back on it. *shrug* |
ff 11 was an morpg? I've never actually played that kind of game before but FEZ looks really cool and I'm loving drawing ff style clothing so it has me hooked. darn you da for showing me this!! :illgetu:
|
FFXIV is going to be for the computer too, iirc. They're in Beta right now for it, I think it'll be released next year?
Dimitri: I keep touch with a few friends from high school. I wasn't a *huge* social person, but I generally got along with everybody. Kat: That sucks about your roommate. I'm so thankful mine were normal, funny, and we got along right off the bat. It was always super weird how I lucked out. 8D; Sharing a bathroom isn't that bad, as long as cleaning duties are shared (unless they have staff clean bathrooms? *not sure how your dorm works*) |
geesum, how many ff's are there? and what does iirc stand for?!
I'm really glad to not share a room again. I'm a private person. we unfortunately have to clean our own bathrooms. my roommate did it all last year even though there were 4 of us sharing the bathroom, but she seemed to enjoy cleaning when pissed off. |
iirc = if I recall/remember correctly. XD
I hope it isn't too bad for you! I remember when I shared one on one side of a room complex with my other roomies (on our side, I had a room by myself, three of them shared one). We basically alternated weeks for cleaning the bathroom and living areas. :3 It worked out pretty good. |
ah
yeah, if I can get on speaking terms with my roommate next year I bet we can work all the cleaning stuff out. I actually haven't seen my new dorm but I don't think it has a living area. anyways, I'm going to figure out how to color my tiny drawing now. (why did I think drawing it 3 inches big was a good idea?). bye! |
Ah. But yeah, it shouldn't be too hard to get some kind of cleaning schedule hashed out between you and the other person sharing the bathroom (I hope!).
Oh wow, that is tiny; I bet it's cute. :> See you later, Kat! |
:gonk: I can't go until my friend gets back online so we can plan some stuff!!!
|
Oh! So you'll be around for a little bit, then. xD Sorry, I thought you were leaving.
|
I never had an HDD for my PS2, so that's one of the reasons I didn't even bother getting FF11, since it was online only. The other reason was because I wasn't really into MMORPGs at the time. I was more into console / solo RPGs (still prefer console / solo, honestly).
|
 I thought I was leaving too...
I haven't actually finished a single FF game before. besides kingdom hearts. I never finish rpgs but I do watch my brothers play them so I know how the story goes. |
Yeah, I'm more a console/solo player, unless it's fighting games and I'm playing with friends. I tried some online MMOs, and I always ended up bored usually before the month was out. >> I need a bit more story with the level grinding, I guess. xD
