sorry I disappeared earlier! I was distracted by the tv for a few hours....
|
Hi, Kat!
@Dimi: Yeah... umm... which rares should I try to get? |
ARYAH!!! :glomp: long time no see!!
|
@Kat: Hey there, Kat. Welcome back.
@Aryah: That's up to you. If you want, you can concentrate on getting the event commons that you want out of the event store, and I'll work on getting the rares for you. |
Umm, Okay.... *hasn't even looked at the store yet.* XP
|
Well, now would be a good time to check it out then, ne? ;) I can always help you get the commons out of the store, too. Well, as long as they're unisex items and not gender specific. :P
|
the items in the event store are  worthy!
|
@Kat: I agree. The pixelists really outdid themselves this time.
|
Yes, the theme and everything is super nice. Phoenix Jubilees never seem to disappoint.
Oh! If you manage to use a lot of items and post during your power hour, you'll net a nice amount of seeds that way. :3 |
*nod*
I wonder if I can convince my parents to help me get a tablet.....*looks over at her mom* maybe I'll help her do laundry before I ask... |
Oh! My! God! *actually squeals* XD
They're so Cu-uute! |
hahaa, aryah!!
|
Kat: Buttering up the parent there, eh? xD
|
yep sara. I figure its a good idea.
|
@Sarasvati: This is actually the first phoenix jubilee that I've participated in (always been too busy in the past with working)
@Kat: Ooo, teh sneaky kitteh will always prevail. :P @Aryah: Yeah, really nice items, ne? |
I've never been on for a phoenix jubilee. what was it like the first time?
|
Yes, the items have definitely gotten my attention... I dunno, but I doubt I'll be able to get everything I want.
|
Dimitri: This is my second. I don't remember if they had one last year or not, to be honest. I wasn't really active on here then.
Kat: It won't hurt, that's for certain. xD I bought mine around ten years ago, I think. It was refurbished, so instead of being 100, it was closer to 60 something. Aside from a few pen hiccups now and then, it works like a charm. o3o Aryah: You'll be surprised at how much you can get, though, just by posting and what not. If you're on Sprocket, we tend to win the missions more, which means we get a nice handful of credits for each finished mission. xD |
I think my mom would be more willing to buy me things if I had a job. I think I'll try to win the art contest I'm doing since the prize is a tablet....
|
@Kat: I dunno. Like I said, this is the first one I participated in. :P
@Aryah: Well, it'll depend on how many of the items you want and how many of them are gender specific. I suggest only going for the "female only" items that you want first. I can always work at getting the other items for you. I might need to make a Red Bull run first, though. @Sarasvati: I really need to get active in more of the events now that I've got more of an opportunity. :ninja: |
@Dimi: Kay-kay!
Umm.... so far.... : Cardinal-Crow Striped Armwarmers (3) Maroon Mechanic Tank (2) Blackbird Choker (3) Sparrow Bronze Choker Cardinal Shoulder Puffs (3) Blackbird Shoulder Puffs Maroon Mechanic Gloves (3) Blackwood Over Belt (4) Blackbird Gunbelt (5) Starling-Crow Striped Stockings (5) Cardinal-Crow Striped Stockings |
@Kat: I'd like to get a large tablet (like 8x11.5, standard paper size), but those can get so expensive... I need to use my money to take care of bills and such before I think about getting something like that.
@Aryah:  Maybe it'd be easier just to make a list in a notepad and then send the list to me in a PM. ;) |
indeed dimi. I just downloaded this free art program and I like it better than photoshop elements which I have so it makes me want a tablet now.
|
Aryah: I'll get you a few items, too, if you want. :3
Kat: It was similar to this one, but it just introduced the concept behind it (erm, I've forgotten now, though). There were two types of flowers, and you could use them to buy items or use them for EI, iirc. You got them by posting and by clicking on the images of the flowers that would appear on pages. :> There were a lot of Japanese themed items, including the kimono and wakou (sp) stuff. I have a Wacom graphire2, and I've never really felt the need for a bigger one. xD If my old one ever breaks (knock on wood), I might upgrade in size, though, just to see what it's like. |
@Dimi: I'm doing that right now... but, what I posted was only how far I'd actually made it in the shop at the time... it's already longer.
as for the pen tablet, you know you still have mine at home, under the desk there? It's not as big as you'd like, but it's still a tablet! *shrugs* @Sara: Oh, thank you! I still need to finish my list though... *goes back to combing through the shop to try and finish my list quickly* |
