Golden Goose 05-27-2010 11:07 AM

I just got my second buggie...hoping to sell after the event's over. >D

Seito 05-27-2010 11:08 AM

I haven't started redeeming yet. xD I usually wait until the last day.

Xaevan 05-27-2010 11:09 AM

Sil busted me again. :cry:

@Golden Goose:

I hope you're resting well and would recover soon, Goose. :hug:

@Seito:

I find hot green or chinese tea works food for me when I'm sick, especially if I lose my appetite.

Silenia 05-27-2010 11:09 AM

-hugs Sei- It's okay, hon.

I am debating whether or not I should go for that fourth buggy for personal use - 6th in total - since I have 71 drops right now and I have little doubt that will go up soon. Just waiting for a few more spanners to get in.

Lol, Xae, you're welcome. <3

Swordtear 05-27-2010 11:09 AM

@Seito-Bahaha..yes! Must remember that : P

Ahh religion...I do like it when some stories use it rather simple yet effective *u*
If it gets too detailed...it can get rather confusing!
But most of us can get quite biased when it comes to religion xDDD
You'll have to show me some of your other OCs sometimeeee <33

@Xae/Iro (?)- Hi hiiiii <3

Golden Goose 05-27-2010 11:10 AM

Thanks, Xae. :) It's bronchitis, so it'll just take some time.

Oh? I shall have to remember that next time I get sick. We have plenty of green tea. (Like boxes) XD And this weird black one that makes it easier to cough up mucus and stuff.

Spanners = <3 xD *is dropping all of hers right now*

Hmm you could wait until you see the next EI if you really can't decide? You might like the new one better.

Golden Goose 05-27-2010 11:12 AM

Ooh, I just got to repair three times! =D

Silenia 05-27-2010 11:12 AM

I have a lot of time this weekend, so it would not surprise me if I end up with 4-5 complete sets quite a while before the end of the event. Is it so far already known how much seeds are needed for a complete set?

Drop Bear 05-27-2010 11:12 AM

@ Swordtear: Sodom The Clown is the reason that children are scared of clowns.

Take the looks of Mr Crow/Harlequin from Unreal Tournament 2004, add to that long white hair, black long clown shoes, and a staff with a skull on it for how he looks, sort of.

Imagine Pennywise from Stephen Kings' IT movie for his personality, crossed with 'The Fool' from Robin Hobbs' novel trilogy 'The Farseer's' and then throw in some extremely childish behavour and you have a rough approximation of my character.

He is capable of being extremely sadistic and evil, yet usually just causes mischief and mayhem with a child-like innocence.

@ Seito: I agree completely there. X ability is granted by Y object because thats what it does, and Z consequence happens.

xD I figured any book I write and publish is gonna be geared towards young adults (teens) anyways that it'll go over their head too.

*nods* Yeah. It's almost scary how buttheaded people can be. o.o

Okies! I have a bunch. xD I can like introduce you to all of them and the stories behind it. *dances* Or if I ever get my Art Request thread up and running then I'll actually have pictures... sorta not really.

Yes that's Iro!

Silenia 05-27-2010 11:15 AM

Ah, 51 seeds for a full set? Hm, one seed and I have the seeds for my first two complete sets down already. xD

Golden Goose 05-27-2010 11:15 AM

Silenia - Not too many, I hope. I had 150 seeds, but traded 'em for credits...now, I only have 42. x.X

Excellent! I'm hoping for about that maybe sets as well. Or maybe less since I want commons.

Nope. Or maybe. I haven't checked.

Exactly! I like those the best as well. I'm a very straight to point person. Or so I like to think. I know I tend to complicate things when explaining them.

Xaevan 05-27-2010 11:15 AM

No cookies for you, Sil. D:<

How are you doing, Sword? xD

*waves at Assassin*

@Golden Goose:
You're welcome. :)
Aah... I used to get a lot of those when I was younger. I was rather prone to sickness before I started building my immunity in high school.
Does it hurt to swallow?

@Silenia:
I'll be glad to be able to gain at least 2 sets this event. That's my minimal goal, at least. xD
So far for the job items, I've only gotten 2 shovels. Saving up the spanners for well, spanners later when the donations are fixed.

@Seito:
Green tea works well for me, unless I am having a bad case of sore throat and it really hurts to swallow anything. Very good for flu, though. :)

Golden Goose 05-27-2010 11:16 AM

Fortunately, no. I just have a wheezing, hacking cough and some minor sinus congestion. The coughing woke me up, which is why I'm up so early...xD

Drop Bear 05-27-2010 11:17 AM

Hey there Xaevan! Sorry, didnt see you posting, was writing a response to Swordtear there.

I heard honey and tea is good when your throat is sore, but I have never tried it.

xD I really need to remember that. I get sick with the flu often enough. I didn't believe my doctor who told me I had the flu this year and I was like... but but I don't have a fever!

Silenia 05-27-2010 11:18 AM

Thanks, Xae. I keep throwing up so I'd better not eat any cookies right now. xD

Sei: I am hoping for quite a bit more, if possible. I want at least two, possibly three, complete sets for charity, two sets for personal use, one of my regulars has problem with her internet so I am trying to get her at least one set and another regular and friend won't be able to get online for most of the event.

Golden Goose 05-27-2010 11:18 AM

I can't stand tea, so I've never tried it. I've heard it works wonders, though.

Drop Bear 05-27-2010 11:19 AM

Im not a huge hot beverage drinker myself, though i had a cup of tea today for the first time in maybe a month?

Silenia 05-27-2010 11:19 AM

Oh, and I have a complete Gasket and Sprocket tool set for personal use, an almost complete second sprocket set - only missing the shovel - and two complete gasket sets for charity.

Oooo lofty goal. That's 8 sets x 51 seeds (just looked it up) = 408 seeds. Not too bad! I'm sure it can be done! We're only halfway through the event after all. Plenty of time!

wah! You must! :gonk: Tea is the best. *can't drink coffee*

Golden Goose 05-27-2010 11:20 AM

Oh lawd, I hate hot drinks. Even hot cocoa. xD

Silenia 05-27-2010 11:21 AM

Seito: Exactly, and five of those sets (the two charity sets + three others) have their first EI already, so you can subtract 50 seeds.
