No you may not D<.
Haha, yes yes you can. |
Of course :)
What are you up to? |
@PoPl: You sound just like my dad. He greets people who come in the store by yelling at them to go away.
|
Haha, I am just really sarcastic.
|
Lol, hurray for sarcasm! :P
|
Hey, I think the best people on the planet have a sarcastic gene. Then again, I could be insulting people by saying that.
|
@PoPl: Well, in my family sarcasm is an acceptable way of expressing love and affection.
And the machine has finally allowed me to help it! @Thar: No insult taken. I enjoy my sharp tongue. |
I don't know, I can't say whether it is good, bad, or neutral, I just am sarcastic by nature. It is a playfulness.
|
Well, I seem to have the sarcastic gene (according to my friends anyways), therefore I am not insulted :P
|
I guess sarcasm is one of those things that is truly neutral. It's not the thing itself but how you use it that makes it good or bad.
|
Glad to know I didn't insult anyone. Most people I know hate hearing that they're sarcastic, but then again they could being saying that sarcastically.
|
Yes, that is a good point. It is neutral. Humor in general is neutral, too. You can make fun of people and hurt their feelings, or you can bring light to a situation and lift people up.
|
@Thar: *laugh* I'm sorry, that tickles me like nothing else right now.
@Poet: *nods* To me it lets you see into a person how they try to utilize humor and sarcasm. |
I see why your name is Poet. You are very deep and philosophical. (and that's no joke!)
Lady Skye - I try to get a laugh in every now and again. :P |
@Thar: Then you are a good person. ^^
|
"Every time you laugh you add minutes to your life." I hear that on a medical show, Dr. Oz or something.
|
From experience, laughing is a darn good medicine.
|
The best in fact, or so I've been told. So Lady Skye, how are you this evening...[well, it's evening where I am.]
|
Well Thar, it is also evening where I am, and I'm okay except I just had to placate my eldest niece since her brother is driving her insane. Can't blame her, Patch is a bit much sometimes.
And you? |
No name? D:
We have to give it a name! Let's call it... ... ... ... /draws a blank |
Quote:
LOL I am flattered. Well, actually the name comes from an idle thought I once had; "nature is a poet's playground". Of course, at the time, I was thinking more of the trees on suburban lawns as I was passing them, haha, and it was in response to all of the musing I was doing in my head on everything I was seeing. |
Lady Skye~ You sound like a very kind and caring person, to have done that for someone. I am trying to decide what to do for the rest of my life.
Winter~ maybe it should be called: " [fill in the blank] " Poet~ I glad you're flattered, but I was just speaking the truth. And you recent post only makes me believe it more. |
Thar: I am totally expecting payment for all this though. My sister is paying me pretty well to look after her chitlins. I'm actually in school to become a music teacher though.
|
xP Thanks.
I think I might have regressed slighlty in recent years, although right now I am working to get back out of my little shell. |
Lady Skye~ My blessing go to you seeing as I have absolutely no sense of rhythm nor rhyme.
Poet~I'm breaking my shell as we speak. It looks like a beautiful world, and I want my piece of the pie. |
