Well, my dad's a pastor, so we're using the empty parsonage a few towns over from us. Which is apparently HUGE and within walking distance of the mall, so I don't mind too much. But packing is a hassle.
|
I've never met any ferrets in real life, sadly. :'(
I've heard good things about them, though, and they look way cute. Illegal in California, though. |
What kind of evil place would ever make ferrets illegal? o__o Way to go CA.
Back from work! ;D Urgh, I hate getting up early. I can't wait for monday+tuesday, I have them off! So exciting! |
Its because they're considered vermon or something. I dont remember.
|
Oh yeah, I'd heard they were illegal there.
We had one in my 5th-6th grade science classroom, until the school nurse found out and said it wasn't okay because he was a health risk. |
I think it has to do with some history of them.
Like if they get loose and spread around, then they'd be worse than rats, or something. |
But cuter, so not as bad. ^_^
|
Rats are really cute, too. I have a pet rat and love him to death.
|
I've never seen a rat, and I don't want to. I hate mice and they're kinda cute. .__. Field mice are nasty, tho. Man, I didn't even think ferrets could survive in the wild
|
D:
Wild rats are gross, but domestic ones are great. And they're wonderful pets. Really friendly and kind. |
Rats are cute, in their own way. I don't think I would pick one as a pet, but that's mostly because the family types would freak.
|
We use to raise them when I was younger because we'd feed them to our snake. But my brother and I each got one as a pet, and they're amazing animals. They really have so much personality and are amazingly friendly and kind.
|
-sigh-
I'm just going to have to start a menagerie once I get a place where I can have pets. People keep talking me into animals... |
lol We currently have 10 pets. ><;;
And yes, all animals are pretty amazing. I'd have them all if I could. lol |
Pretty much. But first I need a good job and a house of my own, so I can support my animal habit.
|
I am going to be working with animals for my career, so I dont know if I'll keep as many at the house. Haha. I feel bad leaving thing all alone all the time.
|
Ooh, true. I would probably have to get fairly self-reliant animals, because I'm planning on going into medicine. But I want to be able to come home and relax with my furchildren.
|
@[email protected]; Tor has the same problem as I do.
|
I have zero animals right now because my whole family loves dogs, but none of us are home long enough to take care of it properly, you can't leave a puppy alone in a big house for hours. @[email protected]; I can't wait to be older, if only so that I can get a little dog, but again, I'd be at work all the time. Idk. .__. I like cats too, but I'm allergic. D:
I also like the hamsters and stuff, but they're nocturnal, and make noise in the nights and I'm a light sleeper. ;__; |
Which one? I have all kinds of problems. :D
|
Eh. I hate little dogs. :<
But yeah, we have 2 horses, 2 snakes, 2 lizards, 1 cat, 1 dog, 1 macaw, and 1 rat. Love them all to death. o 3o |
Wow, horses too? o__o those are expensive.
Not a little dog, just.. idk, if I was getting a dog, I'd get a puppy from the pound and raise it myself. But it'd have to be a medium sized dog, I can't stand toy dogs. @[email protected]; |
Ooh, what breeds of reptiles?
|
Our horses stay at my aunts that is on the outskirts of our little town. We are in town, so we can't have them here. They eat a lot of hay, but they also eat a lot of the grass that is out there.
And yeah, I can't stand little dogs. I prefer HUGE dogs. 8D;; The bigger, the better. And we have a red-tailed boa, and she is somewhere between 9 and 10 feet long. We haven't measured her in awhile. We have a little rubber boa. A leopard gecko. And a bearded dragon. :] |
Aw, I love leopard geckos. We have one in the lab, and he is the cutest thing ever. Except when he tries to hide in my cleavage... >.<
