@ Lunar: iMacs (towerless desktops) start at aprox. $1200 CAD. Like I said... Apple computers are expensive upfront, but think about the viruses-lessness and the super fastness. XD Plus the GIANT LED screen. If you want a laptop those start at about $800 depending on which kind you get (they have like 10 different kinds).
Lizzy: Yes, if you want a heavy duty computer with a tower get an iMac Pro. I can't seem to find them on the Apple site, but they do exist. I'm sure those start at about $2000 CAD. I have a MacBook Pro, which is more than enough for my future graphic design courses at college. My MacBook was almost $3000, but that's because I got a graphics card, extra memory, Microsoft Office and the 15 inch screen. It's now 10 months old and I've had 0 problems with it, including upgrading from the previous OS (Leopard) to the new, current OS Snow Leopard. |

I'm in the US. -insert blushing face here- Also, I am to lazy to convert currency. :P I think they run about $2000 USD depending on the model or something. :S I'll ask my Mac loving friend. :angel: He might cheer me on if I buy a Mac. Aw heck... he'll even help me pick out one!

Yeah I'm going into visual communications. Just go to either: Best Buy, Future Shop or an Apple store and tell them what kind of career you're looking into and that you'd like a Mac. They will explain which kind of Mac will be best and just go from there. P:

Hm... The Mac Pro looks good. I would so get an 8-Core one, cause I like power like that. XD! But it is so close to $3,300USD! I would need a Monitor to go with it. DX! Oh well, that would bring up the price too $3,500USD or less... Oh well, maybe in the future I will get one of those. Then double boot with windows. MAWHAHA!
