A few others, but not many that I can remember off the top of my head (since they're situational, I don't remember it until I actually do it)

The only one I can think of right now is the don't clip toenails after dark.

I have yet to figure out why we put bamboo in front of the house during new years. I think my parents said it's ward out evil spirits during the new year. Out with the bad in with the good you know.

So, what about toenails and thumbs and WHAT?
The only things I can ever remember are: ringing ears means someone is talking about you, itchy palms (dunno which) means something to do with money, um... itchy nose means someone is coming.... Salt over the shoulder when you spill it, don't remember which shoulder though


I wonder if there is a website somewhere dedicated to finding these things and informing others o.O

Well yes. xD Honoring the spirits is a big part of their culture. Obon is an excellent example.

I've never been superstitious but my grandma was. She always did the salt thing and freaked out when she saw a black cat or broke a mirror.
