and I said, "yeah, well, they're pretty great! they're my dentists now too!" I failed to mention it was them that pulled out alll my wisdom teeth 2 weeks ago. ;) |

well, since Gavin is on SSI he gets the awesome insurance. plus because of his diagnosis he qualifies for this kind of dental work ... I hope the lad doesn't have cavities ...

it amazed me how fast Gavin's went through! I know that had a lot to do with the DSHS guy who handled it. he's a pro. all I had to do was submit the doctor's paperwork, his IEP from school, and ... that's basically it. he got his SSI like 2 weeks later or something.

Wow... It took Kinny's bio mom three years of trying before she gave up on getting it for Kinny's littlest brother... And the school did it and he got it right away o.o

I don't know how they did, but I'm glad they did. it is how we are able to get his meds and therapy and doctor and special dentist (apparently) and his special programs at school and such.
speaking of, that is our next "appointment" ... his therapy gal will be coming to see him and my case manager will be coming to see me in an hour. and after that we're going to my parent's house for dinner. |
