Very close. So, how was your day today?

Hm. It was alright, I suppose.

I had a meeting for work which I had to get up very early for.

Then I came home and napped all day. Then I watched Kick-Ass and showered. And then I went to work for the night. And now I'm home.

They make you have meetings on the weekends? That's just rude. And I thought ours were bad in the middle of the week. Squid works overnight?

I usually work close, yes. I work at Blockbuster, so we close at midnight on the weekend and eleven during the week.

And we don't have a lot of meetings (This is only the first one I've been two in a year of employment).

Well, at least you don't have to go to one each month. Ah, I do the 11p-7a shift. ^_^

I worked midnight at McDonalds before I quit there. Like you called it, the overnight shift.

I enjoyed it, but my coworkers were d-bags, which is why I quit xD

I don't think I'd care for it very much now, though. But then again, a job is a job.

I work at a hotel so I'm the only one here. Some nights I hate it some nights it's alright. Best part is I get paid while surfing the nets. XD

Yea, so long as there's no one in the lobby I pull up music on youtube. I have to be careful that non of my co-workers know I've got a netbook I bring to work. They wouldn't be allowed to use it on their shift and would get jealous. LoL

As for how I got the job I walked in and applied. XD Started out working first and second then got audit shift few weeks later.

Are you actually allowed to be online? Like, do your bosses know, or is it something you'd get in trouble for?

The assistant manager doesn't care so long as all my work is done, the general manager is old school and doesn't allow you to do much beyond staring at the wall at night. >.>

He's got the same feeling for the 1st & 2nd shifts as well, problem is they've had guests complain so they're not allowed to.

3rd shift runs the daily audit for the hotel. Usually involves some paperwork. *nods*
