I believe that double posts after 6 hours is legal.
...
But an edit would do fine in a slow thread like this.... I think.

*mind swims*

Sensible Cricket 06-10-2010 11:54 PM

Yeah, this thread isn't exactly the hub of activity I'd wanted. ^^;

Hatake Ayumi 06-10-2010 11:56 PM

Ah, well, it parallels the lull in a crowd waiting for results.

Captain Howdy 06-10-2010 11:59 PM

Anything less than five hours the system will automatically merge. Afterward, as long as it's on topic, double posting is fine. ;D

Hatake Ayumi 06-11-2010 12:25 AM

*lovingly kicks helpful Howdy*
Nice to know.

Mods are like informational moles. They pop up everywhere, but yay, it's easier than looking stuff up.
xD

NA NA NA. :drool:

Where the H-E-double ketchup bottles are my results!? :illgetu:
I'm tired, impatient, and vaguely burnt out. :roll: This week was a toughie.

@ o @

Yay, catsup bottles!

Sensible Cricket 06-11-2010 10:48 AM

Hahahaha, yes. :P They're good to have, though. :heart:

Thank you~

Facade 06-12-2010 01:14 AM

-flicks boogers at Cricket-
You know... I just realized...
WE HAVEN'T TALKED IN AGES! :gonk:

Sensible Cricket 06-12-2010 01:28 AM

I think you may be mistaking me for Cricket. I'm Sensible. *pokes her siggy* Cricket is someone else. ^^;;;

Facade 06-12-2010 04:27 AM

Woops. :shock: My bad! :gonk:

Well, Sense, it's been a while since we talked as well... :ninja:
APPROXIMATELY 2,000 YEARS OF NEVERNESS! :gonk:

Sensible Cricket 06-12-2010 11:34 AM

ROFL! Absolutely. xD Absolutely!

Facade 06-12-2010 10:55 PM

Why was Cricket banninated? :(

What shall our first conversation entail... Hm... -ponders-

Sensible Cricket 06-13-2010 01:08 AM

He didn't realise that you weren't supposed to be able to sell back the profession tool sets to the sellback store and got banned so fast he didn't have a chance to email an admin about it. :cry:

That....is a very strange picture. xD

Facade 06-13-2010 07:29 AM

WHAT.
That's one of the MOST unfair bannings I've ever, ever heard of! :(
...Do they realize now that, since the event was bugged and confusing out the wazoo, he should be unbanned? :(
'Cause he kinda deserves at least 10,000,000 other chances. He might have "exploited a bug" in their books, but during events, if there's a bug like that to unknowingly exploit... There's a fun little thing called the Benefit of the Doubt. Give it to your userbase, and they'll be good. :angel:
(I'm really shocked that he was banned over that, to say the least!)

And yes, it is a strange picture, isn't it? :lol:
Want her to do her hair for ya? I have her number! :cool: Well, her parents' number, anyway. :roll:

Sensible Cricket 06-13-2010 10:48 AM

The staff's refusing to listen to reason about it. I'm really upset. I think I'll buy my CI's off the exchange instead of with cash from now on. It's a shame, too, cause I was just finally at a point where I could start spending cash on the site again, but...not after that.

Hahaha, I think that little girl is a little too crazy for my nice and normal hair. :P

spicedroses 06-13-2010 02:25 PM

well i only entered two contest i think, so i am not biting my nails waiting, there were so many great entries.

Hatake Ayumi 06-13-2010 07:22 PM

I think there was a discussion about that on the facebook page? I saw something about that SOMEWHERE about cricket. He got like... 99 million gold.
> ___ >;;
The problem with that was that the other people who "exploited" the glitch told a mod about it and stopped or something.

Sensible Cricket 06-13-2010 08:56 PM

He didn't realise that people weren't supposed to be able to sell them back--he wasn't haunting the thread like a lot of us were. He'd also just had surgery and was off his head on narcotics; by the time it occurred to him that he ought to have PM'ed a mod, he was already banned. They won't even talk to him; the mods won't even listen to reason. I'm more upset that they won't listen to reason than I am about anything else. They've had it out for him for a long time, though.

Hatake Ayumi 06-13-2010 09:22 PM

> ___ >;;
I find it somewhat hard to believe that the mods have it out for anybody. But I shall reserve judgement.
*shuffles off to study vocab*

Sensible Cricket 06-13-2010 10:04 PM

It's...a long story, and there's not much to be gained from retelling it; except perhaps making the mods angry at -me- as well. Good luck with your studying.

I suggest that anyone who doubts the integrity of the staff actually go and check out the discussion on the Facebook page about this. I think you'll find that things didn't quite happen as they're being portrayed here. Of course folks are welcome to believe what they choose. ;)

More on topic though - the results for Brollies and Bric-a-Brac are posted: link here.

Sensible Cricket 06-14-2010 04:53 PM

That facebook discussion was still an unfair kangaroo court. I note the staff has still refused to get into contact with Cricket himself, despite the fact that he emailed them. But yes, let's stay on topic. Thanks for the link! ^_^ *goes to edit it into the first post*

Hatake Ayumi 06-14-2010 05:05 PM

*runs around*
Shweet, got my prizes from that one.
...
now to lie in wait for Daria and Sizz.
*cackles*
