Anime/Manga to Live Action TV
Well, Sora thought that he would make thread for people to talk about animes and mangas becoming live action TV in either Japan, Taiwan, etc.
Lately, Sora has become a big fan of these TV shows and would like other people to know about them and watch them! ^^ (Sora would also like to find more of them to watch) These are the ones that Sora knows of: (ex: 1. The only one that I know of is Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.

The only one I can think of is Hana Youri Dango I couldn't make it through the anime but love the Korean and Japanese live action and made it half way though meter garden. the Manga got me addicted to that. Then there is blood I didn't watch beyond the first episode but the live action movie was okay. I can't wait to watch skip beat I didn't make it though the Anime but I read as much of the manga as I could that was available to me. I also watch Full house and I am teach witch is live action. I was told there was a manga for them but I could never find them. I can't wait to see the live action avatar movie coming out in theaters.There is one called Nana and lovely complex. I haven't read or seen Nana but I read lovely complex and I want to watch the Live action for it as well. I couldn't get into the lovely complex anime to much.

I personally REALLY liked Iljimae especially. The action, the drama, the romance, the tragedy...really well done. And.....Love, love, looove Lee Jun Ki. <3 I'm surprised by the Skip Beat adaptation. I saw the anime and read some of the manga. Loved it for the humor. I'm unsure if I'll check it out in live action form. ^^; I'm afraid it'll translate strangely with real people. I'd personally prefer it if they made more to the Skip Beat anime...because I don't like how they ended it at all. @[email protected] |
I've watched the Live Action Shinigami No Ballad. I prefer the Live Action better that the Anime because Daniel(-kun) is a little boy in the live action...and a cat in the anime. It much more dramatic when it actors....but, you will still cry your eyes out.

The only one I've seen is the Sailor Moon one someone mentioned on the first page.
What made it even better was the fact that my DVDs had these horribly translated subtitles, many of which were just ridiculous. For example: "From today, I will become warrior again!" xD |

Well, most live action shows remind me WAY too much of novelas.
"AYYY, PERO RODRIGO, PORQUE?!" "YO QUIERO TU HERMANITA, NO A TI!" "NOOOO!!!" I watched some random Japanese live action show on Youtube and it was pretty much like that. |

I started watching the Live Action version of Moyashimon.
http://i29.tinypic.com/68zc6t.jpg It's....definitely different. The crazy overacting can work sometimes and other times it's just bad. The microbes are the same as they were in the anime series, very cute. The story is all mashed up though. There are clearly going to be some changes in any adaptation, but they just chopped a character out! They'll shop up later if the opening is anything to go by, but it's just not cool. |
I love live action dramas. My all time favorite is Hana Kimi (Japan) :] but I also really liked Hana Yori Dango, Kimi Wa Petto and Coffe Prince.
