yeah, sorry, if you're my teacher, DON'T TOUCH :p

Quantum Angel 06-22-2010 06:04 PM

I consider myself very fortunate that the only creeper like that I have ever known actually hated me - and all girls, for that matter, but me most of all.
I also consider myself fortunate that he was too well-known and respected in my community to do anything about that beyond being a douche.

I apologize for my absence from the thread. Things have been busy here. I am currently in the doctor's office waiting to see whether or not my toe really is broken.

Jester of Intoxication 06-22-2010 06:19 PM

HELLO THERE ;D How is everyone?

Cardinal Biggles 06-22-2010 06:49 PM

We are fine, I believe. We've just had a cathartic talk session, and are on to pastures greener...

Crimson_daffodils_Layla 06-22-2010 10:25 PM

what happened to your toe, Amani?

Cardinal Biggles 06-23-2010 01:53 AM

Oh yeah, that. -gets in on the concern bandwagon so she doesn't look like a dick- How are you doing? Feeling better, hopefully?

Quantum Angel 06-23-2010 02:56 AM

Ironically, after four concerts left me mostly unharmed...I was injured by my table "welcoming" me home.

As it turns out, I didn't break anything. Also, as I have discovered from experience, most of the pain of a broken toe (or finger, for that matter) actually comes from the surrounding soft tissue injuries. Huh.
Unfortunately, I have about the same level of soft tissue injury right now as I did when I broke the toe next to this one in two places. It...stings a bit.

Cardinal Biggles 06-23-2010 03:03 AM

I keep jamming my small toe on the banister outside my room. I've learned to put a little stint on it made from toothpicks and fabric tape. That helps, if only a little.

Crimson_daffodils_Layla 06-23-2010 09:07 PM

you know what it's called when you break your big toe? A bedroom fracture 8D
And if you break one of the bones in your hand (not your fingers or wrist), it's called a barroom fracture
I fractured a bone in my foot about 6 years back now. Actually, almost EXACTLY 6 years ago now. It still twinges.
Is anyone on? O.o

Cardinal Biggles 06-24-2010 03:11 AM

I'm on. Moving about like a wistful Roma. Or gypsy, if you will.

Crimson_daffodils_Layla 06-24-2010 03:34 AM

ragh! what's wrong with my computer??! Your comment only just now showed up!
Hi btw :)

Cardinal Biggles 06-24-2010 03:42 AM

Hi there. Sometimes it does that to me too. Oh the wonderful and confusing world of the internetz.

Crimson_daffodils_Layla 06-24-2010 03:46 AM

darn them...
at least the internet has its good points too :)
So how are you tonight?

Cardinal Biggles 06-24-2010 03:48 AM

I'm alright. A ride, as is the m.o. of late.

Crimson_daffodils_Layla 06-24-2010 03:51 AM

I'm just happy I finally found a manga website where I can read Fushigi Yugi :D I had to go to like 10 different ones.
Frustrating~

Cardinal Biggles 06-24-2010 03:58 AM

But at least you found it. Woo! I'm far too tactile. I end up buying them. But at least I can leaf through older volumes when the plot gets convoluted, as it is often wont to do in our beloved mangas.

Crimson_daffodils_Layla 06-24-2010 03:59 AM

I have no money so online manga is the only way I get to read it. I'm in volume 11 atm because the public library only has volumes 1-10 which was why I was getting so frustrated.
See you later, my brother wants on :) We'll pick up then

Cardinal Biggles 06-24-2010 04:00 AM

Okie dokie. Take care then.

>I often only by manga sporadically. I think I've been reading this one for well over a year and a half and haven't yet finished it.

Crimson_daffodils_Layla 06-24-2010 05:12 PM

if it's taken you that long to finish it... maybe it's not very good?

Cardinal Biggles 06-24-2010 06:33 PM

Nooo, it's very good, I just get distracted. When I can, I buy a few tankobon at a go, and then power through them in a matter of hours. It's more just making the effort to get them. The books stores on the island I live don't have much manga, and the big chain stores I used to get them from when I did get of the island don't carry that particular title anymore (that's what I get for being slow, I guess.) So now, I have to buy them off the internet. Which isn't something I'm going to do every week. It's generally every few months or so... Still worth it :3

Harley Q 06-24-2010 07:47 PM

Anyone around? I have big news !

Well, semi-big news. It's exciting to me anyway. xp

Cardinal Biggles 06-24-2010 09:24 PM

Oh, do tell! I am frequently in the mood for exciting news.

Harley Q 06-24-2010 09:35 PM

I got a caterpillar !

----------

He's a horned caterpillar, you can see his little horn on the end. I named him Stefan [for some reason I like naming my bugs somewhat gay names]. Anyway, YAY.

Crimson_daffodils_Layla 06-24-2010 10:07 PM

AWWWWWWWWW >W<
He's so cute~~

Harley Q 06-24-2010 11:42 PM

I think so too !

My mother was going to feed him to our bearded dragon but I wasn't having it. :p
