Sacred Moon Magick......Story Plot
Located in a pretty much small community, there is a school where mythical beings can go to practice magick in the same enviornment as humans. This school is know as the Lunar Academy and is widly know for its excellence on magickal education. It is a very good place to go should you want a place to take even regular classes, even if there aren't that many to choose from. However, in the school, there are secrets and a very big mystery is about to unfold....... ---------- Sacred Moon Magick.....Rules 1. This is a forum for weres, vampires, and humans. I don't want any kind of angels or demons please. 2. There is to be NO "effing" around! I think you all know what I mean so don't even joke around with it! 3. Abosoluetly by no means is there to be any cybering. *Menewsha rules strictly state that all of Mene is rated PG-13 so that means no cybering AT ALL!!! Not even in the PM's. 4. For out of story comments, put a (( )) around your message and address who you're are sending it to. When you have you character talking, please use " " for speech and ' ' for thoughts. 5. I will NOT accept you as a character unless you send me a profile first and unless you have read the rules! 6. If you have not posted something in here for approximately 4 weeks, I will remove your character from the story unless you pm me a message stating why you haven't been on. 7. Vampires I am the character of: lunesta* Name: Dex Kindo Gender: Male Age: Appears 18; is really 165 Personality: At times he can be very sarcastic, but he is always very loyal and would do anything to protect the innocent. Around fellow vampires, he is mostly serious with a bit a humor to him, but around enemy vampires, he doesn't joke around at all. This is a guy who's bad side you really don't want to get on because he is very strong!!! Around humans, Dex can tend to act like he's superior to them, almost like he's looking down on them, however, give him some time to get used to them and he will show them respect. However, keep in mind that around Dex there is something that you must keep track of and this is how well he is able to trick people. Dex is hiding a secret, one that may lead to some very unhappy visitors.... Special abilities: Shape-shifts into a five-tailed white fox with red tipped ears and tails. He controls dark magicks and elements, can use telepathy and telekinesis as well as compulsion (which is kind of like hypnotism for all of those who didn't know). Can become invisible and can also levitate. He's also very advanced in healing magic. A special feature of Dex that you may have noticed is that he can't shape-shift into a flight form. This is because Dex has black angel wings that "sprout" from his back when he wants to fly somewhere. However, he will kill any male, supernatural or not, without the slightest hesitation or regret. Special abilities: Has the magick power capable of controling death. If he sees someone being picked on, Xane always stands up for them, no matter how many people may be against him. He tends to try and avoid his twin brother, Dex Kindo, at times however. Xane is a very trustworthy person and a great friend. Special abilities: Shape-shifts into a snowy owl and white tiger. He controls electical magick, can use telepathy as well as compulsion. Can become invisible and can levitate. He's also, like his brother, very advanced in healing magic. Xane is a very special vampire because he has the ability to summon his own spirit. This spirit, as shown in his profile picture behind him, is an angel with the incredibly powerful holy element. Carlin was wearing her usual outfit when she came to school today. A blue back cut dress and black leggings. She had just came from Advanced Swordsmanship and was pretty tired. Carlin was the best in her class, for she had a deep passion for Sword fighting. Carlin walked toward her locker, which was black and white on the inside, and got her lunch out. It was her lunch time after Advanced swordsmanship. She walked outside to a curtain spot that she ate everyday, by the big Oak tree in front if the cafeteria. Carlin sat down under the Sade and began to eat.

Xane looked down from the tree branch he sat in as he noticed a girl sit down under the tree. He grined and said, "Hi! You know, your sitting under my tree, but I don't mind....just don't harm it. Anyway, my name's Xane. What's yours?"

Carlin looked up from where she was and seen a strange man sitting in the tree. "O, I'm sorry,. I never noticed you sitting there before. My Name is Carlin."

Paula was walking around the school because she had a thirty minute break from her performance class. She went through the woods and found a lake that she could sit by and be relaxed. Paula had decided to put her hair in a single ponytail while she meditated and during classes. She sat down close to the water and crossed her legs, laying her hands on both her knees and closing her eyes to concentrate. Listening to the water move and blocking out everything else around her.

Xane's eyes glowed a deep green as he smiled, "Hey no problem. It's nice to have company every now and then. So....are you new here? I've never noticed you walking around before and I don't think you're in any of my classes.....Hmm....wait! Is this your second or third year here?"
---------- Dex had been hover boarding for about half an hour now and he was beginning to grow bored of it. All he'd had for his first two classes were study halls. He made his way to the lake he would usually fly over on his nightly rounds. As he was landing, he noticed a young woman calmly sitting by the lake. He narrowed his cool grey eyes and frowned. Dex wasn't particularly very fond of humes, but he supposed he would put up with her for now. As he landed, the woman looked up from her spot and watched him intently. Dex nodded in greeting....and that was all. He wasn't going to start a nice conversation. He was a loner and prefered it that way. 'Why does she keep staring at me?' thought Dex. He turned slightly to look at her and said, "Yes? I don't mean to be rude, but I don't exactly enjoy being stared at." |
Paula had rolled her eyes and then looked away as she started to stand. "Well, its not like I want to." As she stood, she started to walk back into woods. Paula was very tense from performance class, so usually she doesn't do well for talking to anyone after class.

Katie was sitting outside of the school on the bench in the back, she was just looking at the scenery out of boredom and sharpening her daggers. It wasn't a pretty sight since most girls weren't the type to sharpen daggers since it seemed threatening. But she was. And even though she was a fairly pretty girl, she still didn't care what people though of her. Looks didn't matter since looks fade sooner or later.

Carlin smiled and said,"Well, I have been here for about two years. And I don't remember seeing you either." She let out a small laugh,"And please tell me. How could you never see me down here?"

Dex raised an eyebrow and smirked, "Oh, I see how it is. I simply ask a question and you up and leave. Mm mm, I don't think so!" He stood and cut off her path before she even had a chance to turn. Smiling, he leaned against a tree and narrowed his eyes, "Now....Do I know you? You look awfully familiar. Do you take any advanced black magick classes?" he asked. He knew he'd seen her at least once, but then again, this was a big school. A lot of students came here. For all he knew he could be mistaking her for someone else....
Xane shrugged, "Maybe you had lunch here before I had my schedual changed. I used to have Summoning and Conjuring class at this time, but I had it changed to study hall. Wasn't like I was learning anything new anyway.....But yeah. This is my second year as well. After being here for two years already it's kind of hard to believe that we still have three more to go, ya know?" He blinked and jumped down from his perch. Sitting down next to Carlin, he turned to her and asked, "Do you ever sometimes get the feeling like there's something more to this school? Like there's something big happening here under the cover of all the classes and other activities? I don't know what it is, but I've been getting this feeling lately like something very bad is going to happen.....Well, if it does, I very much hope that my brother isn't involved in any of it. He's already gotten in enough trouble this year with both the school and mum....." |
Brendon yawned tiredly as he made his way out of the school to get some rest outside. It was an incredibly nice day outside and yet he was wearing long jeans and a big, fluffy snow white hoodie. He didnt seem to mind even though any normal person would be dead from heat exhaustion by now. As he walked outside he looked for a suitable place to lay down his books and rest for a while. Despite how tired he appeared he was actually quite rested, but he had just gotten back from an advanced magic class, one that involved geometry, and more importantly, effort.
Brendon was fairly new to the school, he had grown up going to a public human school for most of his life and the transition into the new school had not been as easy as he thought, particularly the subjects. It had left him a little mentally drained. I.e. Zombiefied. He barely even acknowledged the other students as he flopped down under the nearest tree and let his head rest in the grass without a second thought. |
Dex rolled his eyes and began walking away before the girl even had a chance to answer. "Eh, it doesn't matter. Maybe I'll see you around some other time. I see that I was the one intruding here; I'll just let you get back to your meditating." He called back as he jumped on his hover board and flew back towards the school. He was just about to reach the outside plaza when he saw a newbie laying in the grass. Dex narrowed his eyes and grinned, 'Hey hey! A new kid and he's a were! This could be fun!!!'
Dex stopped and hovered just above the kids head before swinging into an upside-down position and exclaiming, "Hey!" |
Brendon groaned at the sudden interruption from his nap.
'Oh come on i just sat down...' he thought to himself angrily. He made a mental note to smack whoever it was that was bothering him, hard. With another little grumble he opened his eyes and looked up at his offender with angry blue eyes. It took his brain a few moments to register exactly what he was looking at, as the person was a good deal closer to him than he had originally thought and he was at a very strange angle. He looked to be upside-down. And then there was that smell... Brendon's eyes went comically wide as it finally clicked in his brain. With a little muffled yelp he scrambled up from his sitting position and scuttled as far away from the vampire as fast as he possibly could. After he was a 'safe' distance away he stopped and stared at the boy hanging impossibly upside-down and tried to make his heartbeat go down. "Not...Not cool man!" He said, still trying to regain some of his composure. |
Carlin watched as Xane came down to sit by her. She listened to every word he had to say, for it would have been rude if she didn't. When Xane was done talking Carlin answered,"Well, yeah I do think that something it totally going on, but most people here, or should I say teachers here, don't want to say anything about it." She turned to get a good look at him in the eyes." You have a brother? Really, wow." Carlin back on the tree."I had a brother once."

Dex straightened up and sat on the bar of his board. Smiling, he clicked his teeth together and narrowed his eyes. "Problem? I only said hi.....didn't mean to scare the pants off you....well not completely anyway...." He edged closer to the kid, "So anyway, my name is Dex...and you are? I know your new here, I've yet to hear your name mentioned in the school's classes which means you're not well known yet. Why is it that I'm always the last to know about the new kids here?"
Dex frowned as he noticed the kid shift uneasily, "Look I'm not gonna attack you so just chill out. I already fed this afternoon and unless you piss me off, you've nothing to freak out over. Freaking out is a good way to piss me off....." Dex frowned again as he senced another aura near by similar to his own. 'Damn! What is Xane doing out here?! He should be in Summoning and Conjuring class! I really don't have the patience to deal with him ranting on about last week! Mum's already gone off on me about it enough.....' He rolled his eyes and turned back to the kid, "So you gonna talk or do I need to pry it out of ya?" Xane gave her a look, "Once? Something happen?" He sighed and shook his head slowly, "Yeah, I have a brother....Not too happy about it, but hey, we're twins, it's not like I could've gotten rid of him before we were born...." he sighed, "Unfortunately my brother is an unfortunate event all in himself. Nothing but trouble seems to follow wherever he goes. Whether he causes it or he's just in the wrong place at the wrong time, it's there and I end up having to deal with it......" |
Carlin laughed with a calm tone and said," Well, that must be nice." She looked at the watch on here hand." Gezz it's almost time for class to start again. What do you have next?"

Xane thought for a moment, "I'm pretty sure that I have Advanced Weapondry next. This schedual change has made perseption of time go all haywire. Uh, what do you have?"
((I almost forgot to mention to everyone that there are dorms on campus because this is a school you stay at for one year at a time. It's kinda like a boarding school, only much nicer :))) |
Carlin took out a sheet of paper and read it." Yeah, I know. I should have my schedule down pack by now, but I don't." She continued to read. "Ahh, I have AW too." Carlin smiled and put the paper back into her bag.

Paula became annoyed and a little pissed off as she headed to her room instead to finish the rest of her break. She hopes that she never sees him again. Paula is not always easy to get along with at first because she likes to keep to herself. She walked slowly to her room and when she did that well she had decided to go back to performance class early to finish her day before she goes out for the night.

Dex raised an eyebrow, "A little? You practically ran half a yard away from me! Damn, I can't terrify you that much......unless you're affraid of vamps to begin with." He let out a long, slow hiss that most likely made the hairs on the back of Brendon's neck stand up. "Well you're lucky that I'm somewhat laid back right now....otherwise my greeting could have been much, much worse."
Jumping off his board and equipting it back in the harness on his back, Dex walked back up to Brendon and took his hand in a firm grip, but found out that that was the stupidest thing he could of done. It felt like someone had punched him in the stomach as Dex feel to his knees, the air rushing out of his lungs. "Sh..it...." He managed to barely mumble as the world spun off end. He felt Brendon try to pull away, but Dex held on tighter. "Prem-....Premo...nition......Don't let.....go yet....or you'll break....the tie....." He breathed as the vision rushed at him. It was all he could do not to scream in pain. Premontions had only started to take effect in Dex's life. He'd never had them as a child so he was very much not used to them. It was bad enough that he couldn't control when or how they would come, but worst was what they felt like. Some weren't that bad, but others were extremely violent and whoever the premonition was about and how they were feeling was exactly the way Dex would feel. As for this one, well, if it came true, all Dex could say was that Brendon was in for a incredible amount of pain..... Xane grinned and stood. "Hey that's great! We could go together....that is, if you'd like to.....?" Suddenly, Xane stopped as he felt this sharp pain go off in his head. It was brief, but it was enough for him to know that something was wrong with his brother. Quickly, Xane turned to Carlin and said, "Can you come with me please? Something's wrong with my brother and I might need some help. If....if we get in trouble for being late, I'll take the blame, but if there is something wrong, I have to know now....." The whole time while explaining, Xane kept glancing in the direction of the plaza. He had to go find out what was wrong now. Dex never sent out any stress signals to Xane....ever. This was definately something serious. ((For anyone and everyone who is wondering about the title of this forum and it's possible "misspelling", I spelled it that way on purpose. It was always meant to be Magick with a "K" because it made the word more unique! :))) ((Oh! And might I suggest that everyone who is part of this forum subscribe to it in a way so that you recieve an e-mail on another account everytime something new is posted in the forum? This can definately help if you plan on not being on for awhile so you still know what's going on in the forum and when you do come back in, you don't end up lost! :sweat:)) |
Skie swung her bag back and forth as she walked through the school hallway.Her class just finished up and she finally had a free period to relax and enjoy herself.Skie slowly made her way outside as she whistled a soft tune.Some people have her a look that said " Shut up! " but she didn't mind.Heck...she really didn't care at all at what others though. Let them go ahead and think I'm crazy... She chuckled at this thought.A half smile spread across her lips when she finally felt the warm sun.She walked out to the green grass and sat down.There wasent much to do so she would just take a quick nap or watch others coverse...Skie scanned the area and saw a few people having a conversation.A small growl escaped her throat when she saw Dex trying to have a decent coversation with someone who looked unfamiliar. Must be a new kid.. Skie thought.Her head tilted some when Dex fell to his knees.He looked like he was just shot or punched in the gut.Skie sat there for a moment wondering if she should go help or not. Skie finally stood and quickly walked over to where Dex and the new kid where. "Hey are you ok??"She asked.

Carlin Stood up quickly, she could sense his pain and answered,"Yeah sure, I will go with you." Carlin looked toward the direction of the plaza because she seen where Xane attention was."Let's go" Carlin said as she waited for Xane to lead her.

Xane took off at a brisk pace with Carlin right behind. This was bad. It seemed like whatever Dex was going through, it was getting worse. "There. The dark looking one is my brother. Oh no, is he going through another premonition?!" He ran over to Dex and made to pry him off the other kid, but Dex tensed and hissed at Xane. Narrowing his eyes, Xane growled at Dex, "I don't want to hear it Dex. You need to break the tie before you have the whole school staff down here trying to send you home....If that happens, mum's gonna go up one side of you and right back down the other!"
Xane shook his head and, ignoring Dex's protests, got him to let go of the other kids hand. Dex fell back, the air rushing out of him again, and just laid there staring up at the sky. Xane turned and saw Dex was actually shaking in fear. 'Dex? Afraid? But Dex never gets scared! This has gotten far too bad. Time to call in reinforcements....' He looked at his brother with concern, "Dex, I'm telling mum about your premonitions." He turned to Carlin, "Do you think you could maybe help me get him to the nurse? My mother will know what to do. She's a sorceress....the sorceress to be exact." Dex shook his head vigorusly, "No! Xane, please don't tell ma! I'm....I'm fine, see?" Slowly, hesitantly, Dex got up and swayed for a moment before almost doubling over and puking. This wasn't good. That last premonition was really, really, REALLY bad. So bad, it was making him sick to his stomach. He turned back to Xane, "Please don't tell mum. At least not yet. There's still something I need to figure out on my own with this new....well, whatever the hell you want to call it. Personally, I think it's a curse." |
Carlin stood there as she watched the two boys have their conversation. I wonder what premonition is Carlin thought to herself as she watched helplessly. When Xane asked to help she a glad to, "Um sure. what do you want me to do?"
