Xane nodded over to Dex's left side, "Okay, you take that side and I'll get this side. Dex, you've got to help us out a little here....I know you're about to pass out, but..........Dex?" Too late. Dex was already out. Xane sighed, "Alright, looks like it's only us. Damn, we're gonna be reeeeeally late....." Xane and Carlin pretty much carried Dex to the infirmary and laid him down on one of the beds there. Then, as they waited for the nurse to come back from lunch (worst time to leave for lunch, huh?), Xane turned to Carlin and said, "I'm really sorry about all of this. I didn't mean to drag you into it. I, uh, guess the least I could do is explain everything, huh?"

Brendon literally frozen for a good minuet or so with fear, worry, general anxiety that Dex was even touching him, and the fact that he seemed to burn him. Between the things he was spewing out at him and that whole pain dilemma, Brendon couldnt seem to react in any way than a dumbfounded horrified stare, his jaw practically hanging on by a thread.

He did occasionally let out little squeaky replies of, "OHMYGODAREYOUOK??!!!!!!""What the hell was that about!?" "Premo-what!?" "What the hell!?" "Whats all this about a curse!?" "Are you talking about me!?" "HOLY SHIT ARE YOU OK!?" "Im sorry, sorry, sorry! I dont know what i did but im sorry!" "Dont sue me!" "Oh my God DONT DIE!" "What are you talking about!?"
Throughout all of this, he never actually got up from his sitting position, or ever made a move to help him, though he had wanted to, and was instead left useless on the grass.
"...what a way to start a school year..." he mumbled to himself.

((Actually i didnt think you misspelled it at all. Magick with a "K" is usually used to differentiate between stage magic, i.e. illusions, and working magick, which is what witches use. I don't mean to be cross about it, i just thought id add in that little fun little tid-bit. Your title means even more than you thought! ^-^))

Skie was suprised as she watched everyone start to shout.She cursed herself in her mind since it was her idea to come over and see what was wrong with the stupid vampire.Skie only could watch as Dex's brother and another girl walked up and carried him away.When she finally couldn't see the three vampires anymore she slowly sat down on the grass.It was shock that took her over but just pure...... confusion. What the fuck just happened?? She thought.Skie took a deep breath and stood once more.She stepped back when she saw a boy sitting on the ground.It was the same boy that Dex was speaking with before he fell to the ground.Skie felt bad for this boy.He must feel even more confused then she was herself.Skie sat down. "Um hey I know your pretty confused.....that was a pretty bad wtf moment but I'm sure things will get better for you."She said with a half smile.Although she knew that it most likley wouldn't make him feel any better.

Brendon looked up at the girl with surprise, he hadn't noticed her before, but that wasnt very surprising given what had just happened. Looking up at her the first thing he noticed that she was stunningly beautiful and had brilliant white hair, strange but irresistibly attractive. He couldn't help but blush from her simply standing next to him. He let out a quick nervous laugh and turned his head away from her, afraid he might come off as disrespectful if he stared for too long.
"Heh, thanks, um...for the encouragement," he said nervously, "Do you, um, have any idea what just happened?"

Skie tilted her head some in confusion as to why this boy was blushing.After a few seconds she shrugged it off and sat down next to the boy."Truthfully.....I have no idea what just happened.I just came out here relax but of course.....that Dex always has to ruin it.He thinks he is so "that" and tries to bully others.....if I got my hands on him I would...."A small growl escaped ehr throat at this....sick thought.Skie looked over at the boy."Sorry....but I actually have no idea what just happened."She said.Skie already knew this boy would think she was a bit...insane but she didn't mind.Alot of people thought that and it actually was quite funny....to her anyway.

Brendon felt his face heat up as the girl sat next to him. The rather traumatic moment with Dex had all but passed from his mind in an instant and now the only thing running through his head was, 'Dont look at her boobs. Dont look at her boobs. Dont look at her boobs. Dont look at her boobs.'
He was, luckily, still able to understand what she was staying through all the racket in his head.
"Thats fine. It just kind of freaked me out, and you seemed to at least know him a little bit so...But i sware! Whatever just happened, it wasnt me! Ok maybe it was but i didnt try to do it. Besides, he wouldnt let go...Damn...I hope hes ok," he said, half to her and half to himself, "I'm Brendon by the way, whats your name?"
He asked, putting on a smile and extending a hand.

Skie shook her head slowly."I think he will be just fine.Some how that Dex always pulls through.....and I kinda figured you didn't do anything.Dex likes pushing himself on people.He thinks it makes a good impression...although I just think it's plain annoying....although I think all vampires are annoying as hell...."She said more to herself then him. Skie snapped out of her argument and quickly shook Brendons hand."Nice to meet you....I suppose anyway."She said letting go of his hand."My name is Skie and you don't spell it like S-K-Y it's S-K-I-E. Don't ask me why...my parents wanted it that way....not me."She said with a small laugh. " So I'm thinking your new here since I've never seen you before...Am I correct?"She asked.

Brendon just listened to her rant for a while, simply acknowledging her occasionally with a nod or a nervous "Uh-huh" here and there. He didnt really like this Dex so far, partly from the way she was describing him and from their shaky and traumatizing meeting to his traumatizing departure. It was all kind of overwhelming and he had the odd sense that he was doing it just to mess with him. But that could have been his paranoia talking. Regardless, he didnt like this Dex guy very much so far.
"Nice to meet you Skie. Ill try to remember that but I warn you, I'm pretty bad with names. I'm lucky if i remember even what it is. So fair warning" he said with a nervous chuckle and shook her hand back, "Yea, I'm new, to the school and, well, being around people who arent all so human heh."

Skie laughed at Brendons words. "Hey I don't blaim you.....I forget peoples names all the time. I can remember faces....not names."She said.Skie pulled her legs up and rested her chin on her knees.She was wearing a long pants so it's not like he could see anything."Well I suppose your going to remember your first day here....since it was so ....... odd. Anyway welcome and don't worry about that.If you don't feel comfortable around vampires or werewolves then humans do go to this school,so you can hang out with them if you want."She said

"Hah, yea my memory kind of sucks too," he chuckled and let himself relax a little next to her, his initial 'Oh my god a female,' feeling slowly passing the longer he talked to her. Brendon couldn't help but feel slightly relieved at this as he listened to her speak.
"Oh! I didn't mean to imply that I...I have nothing against vampires or other werewolves, its just that I've never really been exposed to them before. Ive lived exclusively with humans my entire life, which was weird seeing as im not human myself, but no one really knew so...But the point is, its just going to take some time to get used to it i guess."

Skie shook her head."Naw....I know how it feels a little strange to be surronded by your own kind,believe me I know..."She said thnking back at her first time here.Skie quickly pushed the thought aside and returned to the present."I don't care what you do.Hang out with whoever you want to......I mean I agree that it will take some time getting used to but you never no...you just might feel more comfortable around humans....I'm a werewolf and your not doing to bad."She said with a small giggle.

"Your a Werewolf too?" He asked, half exited, half afraid. Despite his initial feeling of insecurity around someone of the same breed his inner puppy was thumping its mental tail at the thought of a new playmate. Yes, though Brendon was a werewolf he often acted more like a domesticated dog than a wild animal. He had always assumed that this was because he had been raised around humans but now that he was aware that there were other people like himself he was starting to wonder if he was just defective.
Brendon had always had that kind of inferiority complex, like there was some proper way to be a werewolf and because he was doing it wrong they would hate him for it. That was the main reason he had held off on coming to this school for so long.
"Uh, I mean, Of course you are! Sorry! Haha!" he laughed nervously and prayed she wouldn't hurt him.

Skie slowly shook her head. "Ummm.....yeah...."She said.Skie looked back at the school when she heard the bell indicating for class to start in a few minutes.Skie stood and looked down at Brendon."Well....I should get going to class.I don't want the teacher giving me the "stare" again..."She said.

Brendon gave a little genuine laugh at that, even if he was a little embarrassed at his ignorance to her being a werewolf.
"Well then, i wont keep you," He chuckled, "I dont have a class for a little so ill see you later"

Skie nodded."Alrighty....see you around....."She said as Skie turned around and headed back inside.She walked....well more like ran through the halls to get to her next class.She had totally forgotten that her class was all the way at then end of the school and she had only one minute to get there.Skie skidded to a stop when she neared the door to her Elemental Magic class.Skie took a few deep breaths and quickly walked inside.She was lucky the teacher wasent there our she would have gotten one of those "stares".She calmly took a seat in the back and pulled out a notebook to take some notes....if she really needed to.This was one of the only class she actually took any intrest in.Although she had 8 classes she only liked 2.Skie snapped out of her thoughts when she heard the teacher walk in a start to write something on the board.

Brendon watched her go with a sigh, not really sure what to do now. He wasnt tired anymore and couldnt help but want to go with her, if for nothing else than something to do. While he didnt want to go to class, he didnt really want to sit around ether. Looking up at the tree he chuckled as an idea came into his head. With a little chuckle, he hopped up onto a branch and climbed to a branch about half way up the tree, it was actually fairly nice in the heart of the tree.
With another little chuckle of glee, Brendon took off a few branches and weaved them together into a headband like crown. Then, taking off his fluffy jacket, he tied the arms around his neck and puffed his chest out trying to make himself look a bit tougher.
"HERE YE HERE YE!" He proclaimed to himself and the woodland creatures inside the tree, "Malthazar, the Tree King, has taken claim to this tree and all ye forest folk! BOW BEFORE YOUR SAPPY KING OR I SHALL COMMAND MY TREE FRIENDS TO FALL ON THEE! RAAWRRRR!!"
He declared to no one in particular, howling a bit afterward for dramatic effect, and hung out of the tree in a fairly ridiculous way.
What he hadnt noticed from the ground, was that he wasnt the only one out in the yard. When he saw the other girl from his throne he gasped and nearly fell out of the tree from shock. But, before he hit the ground he managed to hold on and scramble back into the tree to hide his face out of embarrassment.

Skie jumped up from her desk when she heard the bell. Although she enjoyed learning in this class she liked the idea of going outside and relaxing much better.Skie only had one more class for the day and that was a little later on.Skie decided to walk outside and see if she could find the boy from before.She wondered if he had gotten into anymore....odd predicaments.Skie skipped through the school hallways and outside.She made her way back to the tree she had seen the Brendon at before.....or at least she thought.Skie was a bit suprised to see the Brendon gone but she shrugged.It wasen't like he wuld be there forever.Skie saw a girl just relaxing on the tree.A small smiled creeped along Skies lips as an idea popped into her head.Skie quietly got onto all fours and slowly creeped over to the girl.She was very careful not to make any noise as she approached the girl.When Skie was close enough she stopped and shouted a big "Hello!!" to the girl.

Skie started to laugh as the girl jumped from the ground.She quickly stopped her laughter when she heard the girls question.Skie shrugged."I have no idea.....I suppose I'm bored.....or you looked like a good person to scare....."She whispered more to herself as she tried searching for the answer.Skie quickly gave up and looked at the girl. "Sorry....it was pretty funny though..."Skie said whispereing the last part.

Skie nodded."I'm Skie and you don't spell it like you would normally spell Sky it's S-K-I-E...."She said.For some strange reason Skie always had to point that out.Her majot pet peeve was when someone didn't spell her name correctly....although Paula wouldn't ever spell Skies name.She shrugged at her thought.Skies eyes narrowed as the wind suddenly blew through.She could smell a familiar scent....Skie quickly shot up and sniffed around the tree.It finally hit her....Brendon was up in the tree.Skie shook her head slowly and looked down at Paula."Be right back.."She said shooting up onto the branch and climbing into the tree.She quickly spotted Brendon and sighed."What the hell are you doing up here?"She asked with a curious tone.
