I left Gaia mostly because it became pretty sour for me...I had accumulated lots of stuff on there, only to have my main banned by the site for 'botting', so I had to start over with another account. Accumulated some stuff back, and then ran into some unpleasant stuff with some friends, and decided that I'd had enough and went looking for a new site. So I was pretty much ready to quit by then. :sweat: |

Yeah, I did...three times. The first time, they sent me an automail about how my appeal was noted and stuff. Which basically means they didn't bother reading it, or they wouldn't have used one of those automails. The second time, I got another automail. The same one. Third time, they told me that it's been 'put into a que', and will be looked into. Those three times were sent in over a span of over a year. It's been several years after my last appeal (and quitting), and it's still not unbanned (I checked when I was logging on to my other account to give my stuff away to a friend), nor have I received any word on their supposed 'looked into'ness. So...basically, the majority of their mods and admins are sh!t, if you'll excuse my language. I even PM'd a mod (who a week later became an admin) about it because another user had told me she was nice(r), but she was just totally cold and uncaring and basically just brushed me off about it. With nothing whatsoever done about it. So...yeah. :\ ---------- ....Whoa, that's one hell of a wall of text. o_O;; |

Yeah, I know a lot of people who were upset because they'd been donating for years, and then Gaia just went and banned their accounts for stupid things like scamming and hacking when they haven't been doing any of those things. I mean, is it so hard to have someone look into them? I know they're short on mods and people, and many of the mods are corrupt, but they could at least have someone who specifically deals with banned accounts, and others to specifically look into hacked accounts, etc... |
