Additional Information Coming Soon.....? |
Name: Celia Sakaya Age:Eighteen Looks: Green eyed and blond hair. She's about five feet five inches tall, one hundred and thirty pounds. Description: Book smart, though when it comes to life, Celia is naive and gulliable. Clumsy, usually tripping if attention is brought to her. She tends to trip over nothing, and carries fairy band aids everywhere she goes. Celia is your typical walflower. Just, a clumsy one. At school, she tends to get overlooked, only having one or two friends. Addicted to Dance Dance Revelution and slushies. (Hope it's okay!) |
Name: Emi Morimoto
Age: 17 Appearance: Brown hair--dyed dark pink, long. Brown eyes. Height/Weight: 5'7"/123lbs Personality: Very Friendly and loving. Has been described as too "touchy-feely" by her friends. She is popular in school because of her sincere friendliness--not her grades. She is average in school because she doesn't want to do the work. She feels that life is too short to spend it doing boring stuff like homework. Despite seeming perfect in every way, she has a lot of phobias and strange behaviors:
(I wanted to give her some issues that wouldn't necessarily affect her popularity, but could cause problems. And it's 4:30AM so I might not have the greatest ideas.) http://i47.tinypic.com/i1laic.jpg MOTHER Name: Sae Sakaya Age: 37 Appearance: Brown hair, wavy. Brown eyes. Personality: Kind and loving. A little oblivious. http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/t...jmdghhgd64.jpg |
Emi was in the front seat of her mother's car anticipating their arrival to her new home. She would have a sister now and a hot new father. She was a little angry with her mother for keeping him a secret from her while she spent the last two years living with her father. Now that she was 17, she wanted to live with her mother.
"Are we almost there?" She asked for the tenth time. "Almost, Emi. Just be patient." Her mother replied with a smile. |
Celia sat in the living room, a book open in her lap. She wasn't reading however, instead staring out into the rain. She could hear her father bustling around the house, tiding up just a bit more. Great, some old hag, and some snooty witch to come and turn her life upside down. She didn't want them here. Her father called out to her, letting her know a car had pulled up. "Come on the porch, Celia, come meet them. You'll love them!" He assured her. Celia tossed the book unto the couch before moving unto the wrap around porch, glaring at the incoming car through the rain. |
May I join?

(Uh, I'm sorry, Miss. This is in the private roleplay section, and the first post also states this. If you'd like to message me or something, I can try to work something out, though. |
(Thank you, Kisu! I don't mind another player, but let's work it out in my request thread, tokushujibun, ok?)
Sae pulled an umbrella from the backseat, kissing her daughter's cheek before getting out of the car. "Let's go meet the better half of our new family." Emi rolled her eyes, "Mom! That joke doesn't even go like that!" She stepped out of the car and ran to her mother, seeking shelter under the umbrella. The rain was coming down harder than she thought. They were soon on the porch and she could see that someone--two someones were coming to the door. |
Her father moved in front of her, moving to the elder woman with open arms, hugging her and kissing her. "This is my daughter, Celia. She's a little shy, but I'm sure she'll open up soon enough..." The girl, however, looked downright hostile, glaring at the woman before turning to the other girl. "Why would you dye your hair like that?" Her father's face fell, and he stuttered in an attempt to cover for her. "D-don't mind her...Like I said, she's shy and nervous." He received a snort as an answer, and Celia folded her arms, leaning sideways to place her weight on the door frame. And falling. Her father flushed a bit, glancing to Emi's mother. "And uh...clumsy. She'll get used to you two soon enough..." |
Emi noticed very clearly how very much in love these two were--her mother and this man. She smiled at him because he was very handsome. She turned to Celia, her new sister, who looked adorable with the exception of her glaring expression which in its own was was cute. She couldn't tell if Celia's question was real or rhetorical, so by the time she figured out it wasn't rhetorical Celia had fallen over.
Emi stepped forward and offered her hand to Celia. Deciding it was a good time to answer the question, she replied "I love this color! And my dad is a push-over and couldn't say 'no'. Don't you like it?" Sae smiled, stepping closer to Celia's father, "It is very nice to meet you, Celia. I think we will be great friends!" Emi turned to her mother, "Mom! Don't say that! You're taking away the only man in her world! She has every right to hate you for a while." She stuck her tongue out at her mother, being silly. "I know I do. I can't believe you married such a hottie!" She winked at her stepfather. |
The male flushed, glancing to Sae, unsure how to react to a female telling him he was hot when she was around the age of his own daughter. Celia, however, had plenty to say on the matter. She'd ignored Emi's hand, getting up quickly. "See, I knew it!!! I won't be friends with you!" She spat to Sae, before turning her wrathful gaze to Emi, "And you, flirting with an older man??? I told you she'd be one of those sluts! Go away, we don't want you here!" The female stopped, panting, before fleeing up the oak stairs to her room, punching her pillow repeatedly. It wasn't fair. Kai, however, was looking very flustered, and sputtering apology after apology to the two woman. "She just needs a bit of time. She'll warm up...She's just shy...I'm so sorry...I'll speak with her in a bit....Uh, please, come on in. Can your bags wait for a bit, until the rain stops? You could come have a tour of the house..." |
Sae laughed at her daughter and the concerned look on Kai's face, but she abruptly stopped laughing once Celia started to speak. The girl was very upset about the new living arrangements.
Emi was a little hurt by Celia's words. She realized that she would have to behave herself to get along with this family. Emi had been spoiled by her father. She never dated anyone but loved watching old movie actors on the screen. There was something about their maturity that she found alluring. "Uh, sorry, Mom. I guess I didn't mean to make it worse." She was sincere. Sae shrugged. "It's ok, Emi. I know you're a little wilder than other are used to." To her husband she said, "We would love a tour of the house!" She took his hand. Emi noticed how close the two of them were. It made her a little sad to see her mother finding love so easily when it obviously eluded Emi. She followed silently behind them around the house. |
Kai nodded at Sae, his face bursting into a goofy grin before he led the two into the house, waving at the stairs, before settling his hand on his step-daughters shoulder. "Up there is basically an open room, just the one door and a bathroom. I'll work on getting a wall up so you and Celia will have your seperate rooms." A loud crash made the male flinch and continue gazing upwards, until a few ows reached their ears and he nodded. "After she gets to know you, it'll be fine. I know it." He lead them around the house, into the vast entertainment room, the living room, dining room, kitchen, even peeking out into the rain to show off the back porch, proud of it all. "So, Emi. I thought this weekend we'd all go out. Our first outing as a family. What kind of things do you like?" He questioned when they were finished, moving to stand in the kitchen and offering the woman a drink. |
Emi fought back a heavy sigh as her new father explained the bedroom situation. This was going to be a bit tough. She had hoped for her own room at least. But she smiled instead. She would just have to make the most of it. Celia probably wasn't looking forward to the Emi invasion and the shared room. After hearing the crash, she sincerely hoped that the floor was carpeted.
Sae gasped, hearing the crash. "Oh, dear! I do hope that she will be okay." After the tour, Emi found a comfy chair to fall into in the partial living room open to the kitchen and dining room. "Umm...I don't know. I mean, I like a lot of things, but I usually go out with my friends, and you don't really look like the Hot Topic type of guy." Sae took a glass of water from Kai. She was surprised to hear Emi's words, "Are you still shopping at that store?" Emi rolled her eyes sarcastically, "Yeah, Mom. They have some better clothes now--well, clothes you will think are nicer. But the store is still a little too frightening for you." Her mother smiled, "Still, I don't think that is what your step-father had in mind." |
(Okay, I've finished moving and everything and now have unlimited access to a computer. I should be able to reply on a regular basis. Thanks so much for all your patience! :D) Kai glanced upwards once more, sighing. "She'll be fine. I should have named her Grace, so she'd have some." He joked, chuckling and shaking his head gently. He fell silent a moment later, listening as Emi spoke. He shrugged then, filling up a glass with water and adding a bit of ice. "Actually, Celia likes to shop there. I was thinking of a family dinner, maybe we could go to the movies, but we could go shopping too. I don't mind as all. What do you think of the other ideas, though?" Kai leaned against the counter, once he'd stepped a bit closer to Sae. |
