The Kidnapper (EmiEmi and Sezumie)

A knight from one Kingdom and a princess from the enemy Kingdom. The knight must kidnap her and has to kill her in front of the King and Queen.
With lots of fantastical creatures and the princess's murderous older brother hunting them down with some of the king's people, the knight's pretty much screwed if he gets caught.

Name: Yumi Koboki
Appearance: http://www.sumopaint.com/files/image...zgqlncemqf.jpg
Personality: Yumi's the motherly type, no matter what the situation is she manages to have a smile on her face and is able to help others. She's not the one to kill without mercy. Up at the Koboki Kingdom, it's pretty cold, so she's always seen with her usual outfit (the outfit in the picture). Yumi's very easy to manipulate, which makes her older brother overprotective of her.
Extra: She's always cold, so she never takes off her jacket, not even in the summertime. Yumi can cook, clean, and can host nice tea parties. She also can sing, but she usually keeps that to herself.

Name: Lucas Koboki
Appearance:http://i867.photobucket.com/albums/a...eather/163.jpg
Personality: The opposite of Yumi's. Cold, heartless, and always has a frown on his face. He only smiles when he's playing around with Yumi. EXTREMELY OVERPROTECTIVE OF Yumi!
Extra: He always carries the sword in the picture around his shoulder, one of the only people to hear Yumi sing.

I'll just start us off, I suppose. ^^ ((I'm going to use the name Aiden, however use Nathan's profile instead. Aiden just sounds better with the last name i chose. haaha))

Cold was the favorite word that many would use to describe the Koboki Kingdom. Aiden now knew why this was. He pulled his coat tighter around his neck, bowing his head against a strong wind that had kicked up. Although it was winter, the kingdom from which he had journeyed was nothing like this. The majority of the kindgom's civilization lived in valleys, tucked in between the tallest towering mountains in the world. Wind didn't usually reach the villages, except on rare occasion when it would create a powerful wind tunnel. Unfortunetly, the peasent clothes that Aiden had adorned himself didn't hold up too well against the chill of this region.

Sir Aiden Hikari had been given a mission by his lord and highness, King Mayumi. The Mayumi kingdom was fully prepared to officially declare war on the Koboki Kingdom. To make a statement that this was no joke, Aiden, the highest ranking knight in the land, had been asked to kidnap Princess Koboki and bring her before the King's Court to be murdered. Aiden could not say that he was for this idea, in fact he was rather against it. Sacrificing an innocent young lady in the name of war... it was inhuman, really. However, Aiden was ever the obient subject. So he pushed towards the castel, his peasant disguise flapping in the wind. Once he reached the gates, he politely requested the presence of Princess Koboki. if memory served him correctly, today was the day that the royals were to listen to the words of the commoners. Aiden had a large, exotic looking egg tucked beneath his jacket as an offering. The guard allowed him entrance and Aiden found his way into an open area of the castle, a space in which the royals would be enterring to discuss matters. Apparently no other commoners had anything to say to the princess today, so he would have her to himself. This was perfect.

[[okay~~]]

Princess Yumi Koboki was sitting at her throne, twirling her hair around her finger, bored. When she saw the door open and straightened her position, her mother thought it was unladylike of her to slouch in her seat when her people were present. There weren't many people to talk to her since no one seemed disappointed in what she was doing. Yumi smiled at the stranger,"Hello there Sir, what do you wish to speak about?" She looked around, where was her older brother, Prince Lucas Koboki? Yumi faced the man in front of her again, giving him warm smile.
"I'm sorry, was it too cold outside? Do you need a change of clothes?" She asked politely. Her white coat and hat were enough to keep her warm, but she was worried about the person in front of her rather than herself. Yumi didn't even worry about what this man's true intentions are, If he is here, then he must need some kind of assistance, Yumi thought, her light aura becoming more warmer than the room itself.

[[wow, my longest post EVER! *SQUEEE!~~* im so proud!]]

Aiden was taken aback at first at the girls' offer. He hadn't expected her to make a kind gesture to someone who hadn't even exchanged a word with her yet. He smiled meekly, saying, "Oh, i wouldn't want to trouble her highness with such useless matters as clothing." He had to admit, however, having her fetch some cloths for him may have been helpful to his mission. Well, if she insisted, she insisted. if she didn't, would would continue as planned. "However I do wish to speak of the state of my land." He told her, wondering if she would mention a change of cloths again or not.

The lady, Aiden admitted to himself, was really quite pretty. He had never seen her in person until now. The two seperate kingdoms didn't exchange much interaction unless war was involved. She had pretty light, long hair and blue eyes. This contrasted with Aiden's dark brown puppy eyes and dark, short hair.

Sezumie 06-21-2010 03:06 PM

Yumi's bell-like laugh bounced off the walls,"Nonsense, I wouldn't want one of my people freezing to death!" She snapped her fingers and asked one of the servants to bring Aiden a coat. As the young man ran off, she turned back to the man,"You know, I don't think I've seen you around here before, are you a traveler?" Even with Yumi's simple mind, you could tell that she was becoming quite suspicious of him. Her bright blue eyes suddenly brightened visibly.
"If you're a traveler, that means you've seen the outside world right? Do you know if the Mayumi Kingdom is warmer than ours?" Then she realized that she was being rude. She covered her mouth and looked down embarassed.
"I'm terribly sorry, is there something you wish to ask?"

EmiEmi 06-21-2010 04:49 PM

With a laugh, Aiden shook his head. "Do not worry yourself, your highness. Yes, the Mayumi kingdom has warmed considerably. However, their econimoic status is still in quite a bit of trouble." he felt a little bitter about the fact, knowing that it was the fault of the Koboki Kingdom that this was true. Since they had stopped traiding with the Mayumi Kingdom, things had become very difficult as far a living was concerned. "Now," Continued Aiden, "I've got a very serious problem with a crop that I recently purchased. I'm aware that it is not in season to be rasing crops, however I have started a few winter plants to be grown until I can plant some more seasonal crops. However, something has begun tearring apart my soil and my cropping supplies. It looks like the work of humans and, considering the fact that my land is close to the Mayumi/Kobokie border, I have a mounting suspision that Mayumi ruffions are to blame. I was wondering if you had any solution in mind?"

Sezumie 06-21-2010 05:44 PM

Yumi sighed sadly,"I wish I could help you, but my father forbids me to do anything unless my brother approves. Lucas isn't very forgiving, but if I could help you, I could try to compromise with the Mayumi." Ever since her father had stopped trade with the Mayumi's, Yumi hasn't been able to get things that she usually got from them. She had tried compromising with her father, having her being slapped countless times as a result. He was just too stubborn, her father, even her brother was against her on that subject. Her mother died, which meant she was the only woman in the family. Yumi learned things a commoner would learn, how to cook, clean, and even host marvelous tea parties for free. Everyone in the Koboki Kingdom liked her, and it was pretty hard not to.
Footsteps were heard and the door opened, revealing a pissed off looking Lucas. "Yumi! What did I tell you about doing this alone!?"
"Ehehehe~" Yumi laughed nervously, scratching the back of her head,"Can't I try at least?" She asked, smiling.
Huffing, Lucas turned around and left,"If you're gone when I get back, the person who got you is going to be dead meat!" He called back, soon enough, his footsteps faded and Yumi was alone with Aiden again.

EmiEmi 06-22-2010 08:27 PM

There was a slight twist in his stomach as Aiden watched Lucas leave. "Wow. Your brother is awefully protective of you." He laughed. "Doesn't it upset you that he doesn't allow you to do anything on your own?" The question hung in the air as Aiden raised a questioning eyebrow towards her. Although he knew that he would probably act the same way if he had a little sister himself, he also knew that he would be awefully ticked and terribly rebeleious if he had an older sibling to treat him in such a manor. However, being an only child, Aiden did not have such worries. So it was left to the princess to decide if this behavior was acceptable or not.

Sezumie 06-22-2010 08:41 PM

She laughed again,"I don't think about it so much, I know he loves me enough to do that since our mother died...."
Her expression became grim,"I'm not even allowed to go outside alone nowadays...." She looked at Aiden curiously,"If I may ask, would you accompany me to going out? I suddenly feel sick." She stood up and started to walk out of the throne room. She didn't know that this would just help out Aiden's plan to kidnap her, or she would've waited for Lucas. Alas, Yumi walked out of the throne room and looked behind her,"Can you accompany me please?" She asked again.
[its short, but! we cannot stay in the throne room forever!]

EmiEmi 06-23-2010 05:17 PM

((Haha true that))

Well that was siimple. Thought Aiden as he said, "Of course, Your Highness. I'd be more than heppy to acompany you." He rushed to her side so that they could exit the castle. "Perhaps we could venture to my land and have a look at my crops?" He asked her, knowing that more knigts lay in wait to help him at the Koboki/Mayumi border. All he had to do was get her to that one spot and then all would be taken care of. Aiden lead her to the castel doors, but stopped before opening them. "Are you going to be warm enough out there?" He asked her, "The wind is something aweful right now." The goal was to get her there alive and fully in tact, not suffering from frostbite. Besides, Aiden didn't wish for her to be extremely uncomfortable. There was some part of him that wanted to keep her safe until she inevitably could be safe no longer. It wasn't that Aiden wanted the poor girl to die. She had done nothing wrong. However Aiden knew that he had to do his job, or it would cost him his life.

Sezumie 06-26-2010 01:45 AM

[i don't have time to post at this second, ill post asap!]

Yumi took her spell book and a few pencils from a servant, after thanking him she turned back to Aiden,"That would be nice...." She said,"I haven't been out in a while...." At his next comment she smiled,"It's okay, I'll be just fine, this always keeps me warm." She said, snuggling her coat. Then Yumi handed Aiden a new coat,"It's not much, but it'll keep you warm..." She said, looking down.
"So what does your farm look like?" She asked, trying to make small talk.

EmiEmi 06-27-2010 03:40 PM

"Many thanks," Aiden said, accepting the coat. As he pulled it on, he said, "My farm is quiant, really. Not much to it. It's only about ten acres. My wife uses half of it for herbs." He rolled his eyes playfully. There really was no wife in his life, however Aiden rather liked the idea of settling down with someone. Unfortunatly, being a knight of the Mayumi Kingdom required that he travel a lot, taking on dangerous missions. There was no way that he would be able to support a family in such a way. Although he was payed quite well as one of the highest ranking knigts in the land, he still wouldn't want to leave his wife to raise a fatherless child. These thoughts enterred his mind as he continued, "You'd like my wife," Aiden said, "She looks a little like you. Only her hair is curly," the man smiled, imagining this dream girl. "Sadly, our boy is sick so they have both gone to someone across the kingdom that can help." He didn't want to make the princess hopeful about metting some more people. The only people she would be meeting were the other knigts on the mission.

Sezumie 06-29-2010 12:40 AM

"Aw.... I wish I could meet them, they sound so nice...." Yumi sighed, then she said,"Your farm sounds cozy, unlike this castle, it gets terribly lonely around here." Yumi opened the door that showed a falling snow and below freezing temperatures.
She rubbed her hands together,"Pretty chilly out huh?" She joked, though it was true.
Then, loud crashes could be heard from the throne room,"Where is YUMI?!" Lucas yelled, then more crashes.
Yumi giggled,"There's my brother again, Let's go!" She grabbed Aiden's hand and ran into the flurry laughing,"It'll be like hide-and-go-seek!" She exclaimed. Yumi then stopped, since she didn't know where to go, she didn't feel like she should lead.
"Erm....you lead the way then!" She said after a while, gesturing to the forest.

EmiEmi 07-01-2010 01:38 PM

The crashing made Aiden jump a little, but he laughed as well and Followed Yumi out the door. When she stopped, he stepped in front of her, still holding her hand, and started walking straight into the forest. Snowflakes nipped at his cheeks as the wind shot them like bullets at his pale skin. Once the treeline was behind the two, the wind died down quite a bit. Although the temperature was much lower, Aiden preferred it to the biting flurries. His pace was fast enough to keep the cold from setting in, but slow enough to keep exhaustion from shortening their breaths. "Tell me, Your Highness. What's life liike at the castel?" he asked her, letting his puppy-eyes steal a glance in her direction. She was extremely pretty. Aiden could only imagine how many of the male commoners would do anything for her. Not only did she have her baeuty, too, she had (if rumor proved to be correct) a kind exterior. She was probably very good to her people.

Sezumie 07-11-2010 11:32 PM

Yumi looked up,"It's not half bad when you get past the loneliness....." She said, sighing,"The outside world is so pretty." She whispered and looked around. It was truly pretty. The snow fell softly to the ground, making the whole forest look like it was covered in icing. She pulled her coat more around her for warmth. "Pity that I may not be able to see this after this is done..." She said aloud. Yumi turned to Aiden,"How is farm life for you?" She asked, trying to keep the conversation going.
