Desert Island
 

It's really simple, this thread is on every forums that sure

The question is: If you should bring only 3 objects in a desert island, what would it be? No stupid answers please ^^ :yumeh2:

Mine would be...Hum.
-A pet for have a bit of company
-A Jar of Cookies~ Yumii
- A deck of cards :3

Something that I could repeatedly make fire with. Like, a lighter would be good, but it wouldn't last forever. Maybe flint and tinder?
Next I'd bring... a machete. Things be useful.
And a large triangular tent. First of all you can sleep in it, but you can also use it to catch rain water, or you can purify salt water with it through evaporation.

I'd bring a flint and tinder pack. A blade of some kind. The last item is tricky. A metal container of some kind. Like a pot.

Honestly, Since I'm the biggest nerd in the world;
+I would bring a First Aid Kit, because I'm bound to get hurt somehow--because I'm a klutz.
+I would bring my guitar/guitar picks, (because even though I don't know how to play, I'll amuse myself with the songs I've written, :3
+ I would bring a notebook, and a pack of pencils to go with it, because I have to have something to write about.

I know that none of those are essential to survival, without counting the first-aid, but I would learn to sharpen a stick on a rock and make a spear and I would shank some animal once I found it. o.O There's bound to be some animal on this island, and for water I'd use something in the First Aid Kit, because there has got to be something that could hold water (the kit itself, or a pouch...) and I'll use my sharpened stick to break open a cactus for water. :3

My answer would depend... on whether this desert island were a holiday destination, or somewhere where I would be stranded and in need of rescue.

More like you get on a beach with coconuts and all but it would be rainy somthimes :P

3. A really good camera, that can also go underwater!

This is assuming it isn't an uncharted, no signal deserted desert island.

So... I'd bring a radio and call for help
A Flare so that they can see where I am
And a hat so I can hopefully not get sunburn while I'm waiting to go home.

I'm with lunanuova on this. What I would bring depends entirely on if I were going there by choice or if I were stranded. By choice, I might bring more survival related items. If I were stranded, I'd be grabbing a bag that I'd like have loaded with my drawing supplies, a pocket knife, and some clothes. XD

You know, in order for us to really have a choice...because we never know if we're going ot be stranded (unless your like survivorman and do this stuff for fun lol) we'd haveot bring those things with us everytime we went somewhere where there might be a possibility of getting stranded.

lol bring a full camping set every time you go on a cruise. Never know when you'll end up on Gilligan's Island! =D

Well, if it was not by choice, I would have to say a boat, first aid kit, and one of those travel water bottles. I'd be rowing away from that island as soon as I get bored on being there.

- A man (bom chicka wow wow!)
- And a machete

Monkeys scare me. A friend of my family had one and that thing was crazy. I was watching TV over there one time and it came over to me and grabbed my arm then wiped its butt on me. It was a small spider monkey but still creeped me out.

1) A complete kitchen set, including pots, pans, utensils, and most importantly, large knives.
2) A rather large stationary set, to chronicle my island adventures.
3) Rope. Because there's always a good use for rope.

...I should start bringing more useful things on my trips....before I end up as the dead body being robbed.

I'd have to say

Laptop
Wireless internet card
and hunting knife.
