Emy smiled happily and quickly hugged him. "Ok. But...I'm still not allowed to talk, huh?"

"No..." He hadn't thought of that. "Erm...is that all right with you? We don't have to stay there..."

Emy shrugged slightly. "Its alright. I'll just be a mute." She grinned slightly.

Léan chuckled, then nodded. "All right. Suit yourself." He extended his hand to her. "I believe I know where it is. Shall we go? We can plot a proper route once we're there. No one will be able to hear you speaking English there...the walls are thick."

Emy was pleasantly surprised that he still wanted to hold her hand. She smiled and took it and nodded to him.

Léan had taken notice of the hotel when they'd passed it earlier. So, he had no trouble locating it again. He spoke to the receptionist at the front desk, and--judging by his words--he was giving him the same sob story he'd given the receptionist at the hospital. Grudgingly, the man handed over keys. Léan thanked him and headed up seven stories, then swam down that hallway, looking for their room.

Emy raised and eyebrow at him as they swam up to their floor and towards their room.

Léan idly searched around, pointedly ignoring her indirect question. He sighed once he located the room and unlocked it. It was small, but nice enough, with a bed large enough for two.

Emy frowned slightly and moved in front of him when they were in the room. "Why are you ignoring me?"

"Heh...I would rather not explain the sob story, and I know that's what you're curious about." Léan spoke quietly, and made sure the door was locked and closed before he spoke.

Emy watched him for moment, then closed her eyes, trying to control what she did and said. She shook her head slightly. "Fine, whatever."

Confusion spilled across Léan's features, and he tilted his head slightly. "...? Did I do something wrong?" He didn't seem to understand, if he had done something wrong. Then again, he wasn't that used to being around people constantly.

Emy shook her head again. "I don't like being ignored." Then she looked at the bed and shrugged, going to curl up on it.

"I simply didn't want to explain the sob story. In fact, I probably couldn't have explained it in the hall anyway without raising some eyebrows for using human language," Léan retorted matter-of-factly as he sat down, on the floor. He was relaxing.

Emy seemed slightly annoyed that he wasn't really getting what she meant. He didn't have to talk to tell her he didn't want to explain it. He could've just shook his head...it wasn't that hard. She would've understood. She just didn't say anything and tried to relax.

Léan didn't understand in the least...he wasn't used to people and their issues, or how to react to them. Instead of pressing the issue, he folded his arms across his chest and curled up in a comfortable ball on the floor to nap. Two could play at this game.

Emy soon fell asleep when she'd gotten relaxed enough. She hadn't really noticed that Leandre had curled up on the floor.

Léan didn't move from where he was on the floor. He wasn't used to cities. Small towns and settlements...maybe. But cities...he didn't like cities. Not in the least. It didn't take him long to start drifting off, and he was soon fast asleep.

Emy woke up after a few hours in a slight panic. She knew she was underwater and freaked out when she saw she had a tailfin. It quickly came back to her though and she calmed down. She did that sometimes....she'd go to sleep and wake up forgetting the day or two before completely.

Léan was still curled up on the floor, in one of the corners. He was a quiet, light sleeper. He appeared to be having a neutral dream, or not dreaming for all, as he was completely still.

Emy looked over at him and suddenly felt very guilty. One, he was sleeping on the floor...which she thought was rude to make someone do when there was plenty of space on the bed. Two, she'd probably made him annoyed or angry by how she acted towards him.

Léan kept his place on the floor, sound asleep. He wasn't one for drama. When he sensed it, blah. He was gone. He wanted nothing to do with it.

Emy couldn't sleep very well. She felt too bad. She woke up a hour or two after tossing and turning. Then looked down at Leandre sleeping and sighed softly. Then she soundlessly moved down beside him and sat in front of him, just watching him for a moment, then gently touched his arm.

Léan stirred, blearily opening his eyes. He blinked a few times, then unwillingly shook the sleep away. "Yes?" he asked, tonelessly, as he stretched. He wasn't fully awake, yet.

Emy looked down at him with a slight sadness in her eyes. "I'm sorry..." Then she threw her arms around his neck and hugged him.
