Emy blinked slightly, thinking about what he'd said. Then she sighed softly and nuzzled against his neck, trying to get him to relax a little. "I don't want an angel..." She didn't have anything against Archie, but she wouldn't want to be with someone like that. She felt like she did about Leandre for many reasons. "I love you. No matter what. So, you best remember that." She said lovingly, but it was firm as well.

Léan closed his eyes, resting his head against hers. He seemed comforted by her words...very comforted. But, he was still angry about his brother and Monty, and would be for a while, especially if his position as alpha was challenged.

Emy loved how much this made him feel comforted, she could feel it. She smiled and closed her eyes, her face still against his neck. This was actually very comfortable, holding him like that. She did wonder if the other's were ok, now that she knew Lean was not angry with her or anything.

Léan stayed cuddled up with her for the longest time without moving or shifting in any way. He was comfortable in her grasp.
Archie was still worried. He didn't want anything bad happening...and he didn't want his brothe rto be angry. |
Emy soon got sleepy, but made herself stay awake. It was a little too comfortable to be in this position with him.
Monty looked at Archie, sort of annoyed, but worried at the same time. He personally didn't care if Lean was angry about them, but he did care that it effected Archie like it did. |
Léan sighed, softly, and then pulled back, stretching himself out. "Now, what?" he asked, curiously.
Archie curled himself up in a ball to rest, listening for the telltale sounds of his brother and possibly Emy approaching. |
Emy looked at him for a moment when he finally pulled away and stretched. She moved slightly, but didn't go anywhere really. "Well...we should probably go back..." She was sort of nervous he'd freak out again if he even looked at them.
Monty frowned slightly, not liking the effect on Archie at all. He moved slightly and gently just laid a hand on his arm. "If you don't want your brother angry....I can try to restrain myself..." It wasn't really what he wanted, but he'd be willing to do almost anything to keep Archie from acting this way. |
Léan frowned. "I don't know if that's such a good idea...he was having the same sort of reservations. He didn't want to freak out and seethe with anger...but he could rarely control himself.
"No, no...I just want him to cool it..." Archie grumbled, curling up a little tighter. "I may be timid, but I'm not a defenseless baby. I can take care of myself." |
Emy blinked slightly, then sighed a little. She didn't know what to do then. She knew that sooner or later they'd go back....but how long exactly would it take?
Monty blinked slightly, then slowly took his hand back. "Alright then..." He was slightly annoyed by the way he'd answered that, but didn't really say anything about it. He'd never said he was defenseless baby. He didn't like when people assumed things. |
"I really wish Léan would just let me go, a little bit. He's way too overprotective of me. I'm just the younger brother...but I can take care of myself..." Archie murmured. He scooted closer to Monty, wanting comfort.
Léan rested his head on her shoulder. "...What should we do?" |
Monty sighed softly after he did that, it was too much for him to stay away when he was asking like that. He gently wrapped his arms around him, trying his best to comfort him. "He doesn't seem the type to be able to very easily."
Emy kissed his neck softly in almost an absent way. "I don't know, hun.." |
Archie snuggled into him, accepting the comfort. He seemed to be overjoyed about the added contact...he felt much better, now.
Léan sighed, the shrugged. "...Perhaps you should go back first...and then I should go...?" |
Monty liked that he felt better just by him holding him. It meant something to him, plus it made Archie feel better. He enjoyed making him feel good.
Emy thought for a moment, then shrugged slightly, looking at him softly. "If you want to, we can do that.." |
Archie smiled, and then lowered his eyes. "Okay...if they don't come back, soon...maybe we should go after them. And talk to him..."
Léan nodded, then shifted. "That sounds good...better for me to come later...I...am still not completely calm." |
Emy nodded slightly, then looked at him for a moment, as if thinking about something. Then she kissed his cheek softly and slowly moved back. "I'll go then..."
Monty nodded slowly, they really should talk to him. But if Lean did anything stupid, Monty wasn't going to hesitate to retaliate. |
Léan smiled at her. Her presence reassured him...he had problems with his temper, and though he didn't often lose it...it was a big issue to look at and deal with...
Archie looked out in the distance, scanning for them. He rested his head against Monty's chest, worriedly. "I hope they're okay." |
Emy smiled a little back at him, then slowly moved and started back towards the others, all sorts of thoughts swimming around in her head.
Monty nodded slightly. "As do I." |
Archie froze when he heard someone approaching, but then relaxed slightly when he noticed it wasn't his brother...but Emy.

Emy moved slightly unnerved, but happier than when she'd left. When she saw them, she stopped, then waved slightly. She moved closer, only a little away from them now. "Well...hey." She was sort of awkward, looking at them and sort of flicking her tail a little.
Monty raised an eyebrow and moved slightly, to look at her. "So? Is he normal again?" |
"Is he upset?" Archie sounded concerned. "I...I don't like how he behaves when he's angry, but I don't want him to be so sad or anything..."

Emy looked slightly confused as well. "I think...he is still angry, but....he seems to have more, how should I say....control of himself?" She knew all he needed to do was calm down. Then she looked at Monty, a very meaningful, warning look.

"Léan has Father's temper. No matter how much he tries to hide it, he and our father are really very alike. He hates that fact..." Archie trailed off, then shook his head. "Does he want to come and talk to us...?"

Emy looked slightly unsure again. "Well, he's coming back...but I'm not so sure he wants to talk...."

"He should talk. He has a habit of not wanting to talk about stuff he's not comfortable talking about...I've been trying to break him of it for years..." Archie admitted, bowing his head. He glanced at Monty, frowning. "...Do you want to give it a shot...?"

Monty laughed for a moment, then stopped abruptly. "I'm the one he wants to maime. Remember?" Then he looked over at Emy.
Emy shook her head slightly. "I think I've done all that I can without making it worse." |
