Acheron looked up at Katie before he blinked, seeing what she was wearing. "Oh wow." he said, looking slightly impressed until she threw his shirt at him. "Did I do something wrong?" he asked himself, unsure if she was mad at him or not. Maybe it was because Kiara was on his lap asleep. But, it wasn't his fault entirely.

Katie sighed. The view of the window was pretty dull, at the bottom of the hill all you could see was the street covered in murky brown water..and the very top of Archerons car. Which meant their ride was useless."Dammit.." She said out loud, feeling the cut on her shoulder start to sting. She was in a bad mood at the moment from the flood, Archeron, and now her cut was bothering her. She ran her hand threw her dark hair and closed her eyes, trying to make the pain go away. No hers wasn't as bad as Kiaras..but it still hurt since the glass had went pretty deep and was partially still in her shoulder since Prim couldn't get it all out.

Acheron folded the shirt and put it under Kiara's head gently before looking at his food again. His stomach growled a little and he twitched lightly. "Katie?" he called out softly. Hopefully, she'd be nice enough to give him his plate. He was starving since he only had a few bites. At most three. And they were small.

Katie got up, going into the room where Archeron was."Yeah?" She asked, leaning in the door way and witing to see what he wanted. She looked at the floor after noticing Kiara in his lap, though it looked like she was looking at her shoes.

He offered her a small smile. "Um, can you hand me my plate?" he asked, pointing to his plate of waffles on the table. "I'd get it myself, but I can't really move." he said, shaking his head before looking back at her, raising an eyebrow. "That's a nice dress."

Katie went over and grabbed the plate."Want me to sit it on Kiara so you can eat off her too?"She said softly towards hm, finally showing a little of her anger."Thanks..It was the only thing that I thought I didn't look as ugly in." She said, handing him the plate before steping back towards the door."Anything else?"

Acheron smiled a little before she said something about setting it on Kiara. Oh boy, she's not very happy with me. he thought, frowning a little. "Katie, why would I do that? And, why are you mad? I mean, it's not like it's much, she's just sleeping." he said, looking up at her. "As for the dress, it doesn't look bad on you. So, you don't look ugly at all." he said.

Katie frowned and sat on the end of a chair."I don't know..I guess i'm just being snobby from not sleeping well.." She lied, picking up the bottom of the dress to show off her black and white converse."Sorry Archeron.." She said, lettign the end of the dress fall as she put her hands in her lap."Thanks.."She said, looking back up to look out the window.

Acheron raised an eyebrow but shrugged. "You could rest some more then. If you want." he said, not wanting her to be dead tired, and cranky. Since she'd mostly take it out on him. He took a bite from his food and smiled, liking the taste. "I have got to thank the girls for making such a good meal." he said, grinning before taking another bite. "It's fine, apology accepted. And, no problem."

"Nah, I slept pretty well actually I just....Don't know." She said, running her hand over the dress and looking back at him."Do you want me to go tell them you said it was good? You wouldn't want to wake Kiara.." She said with a soft smile and brushing her bangs out of her face."Thank you for staying with me last night, I was so freaked out from the whole blood thing and it really helped. But if you want your privacy you can always ask for your own room.."She said, looking at him.

Acheron glanced down at Kiara and nodded. "Yes please." he said, figuring he could try moving later, after she was awake again. He did need to move later for the bags. Clothes, painkillers, maybe some other stuff that could come in handy. Snapping back to Katie he raised an eyebrow. "It's fine, but we'll see later tonight if anything happens. I mean, I don't think it'd be safe for you to sleep alone." he said, still thinking about what Primrose had said about possibly killing them.

Katie smirked and with a small nod went in to the other room to where Prim and Claire were."Archeron told me to tell you that the meal you made was great." She said, smiling a little and then going back out to him and sitting on the arm of a chair."Well if you want your privacy I can always learn how to fend for myself..and theres no hope of getting to the car..the water goes almost to the top of the car.."

He looked surprised but he nodded, still planning on doing it regardless. "Ah... Well that sucks." he said, looking sad. almost like he had lost hope to get to the car. He did shrug however. "Well, it goes with whatever you want." he said. It did sound as if she wanted to get rid of him.

"Well I want you to stay with me." She said, almost laughing."But yesterday you said you wanted privacy and your own room.." She said, looking at him slyly."Sorry about your car..maybe its still..usable?" She grinned."We can fish out the clothes...as long as you still have the money for vegas with you."

He nodded. "That you are right about. I don't really like sharing a room. But, your safety was in danger." he informed her, smirking. He did nod and yawn somewhat. "I have the money in one of the bags. And, it better. I'd be killed by my father if he found out I not only crashed the car, but it's no longer usable." he said, making a small face at the prospect of having to tell his parents that.

Katie smiled a little."I'm sure it will all be resolved..if we ever do get home." She said, standing up."I'm going to go look around..and thanks for caring about my well being in all..even my ex boyfriend didn't care that much when we were going out." She said, going over and kissing his cheek. She then went out of the room quickly and went into the greenhouse room, which was by the living room and parlor.

Claire continued to stare out the window. How long will these poor people be trapped here? Oh long will Primrose and myself be imprisoned here with Alice? So many questions with no answers.

Acheron blushed a little at being kissed on the cheek. "No, problem." he muttered after her as she left the room. He really did hope that the car would work, but considering it got all wet. He just wasn't sure if the battery or engine would work anymore. He took a bite from his bacon and glanced down at Kiara. She looked really peaceful there, and oblivious. I wonder what she would have said about Katie.... Probably teased.

Primrose came into the room with Katie and they both sat down on the other couch."Shame about your car.." Prim said with a soft smile.
Katie noticed the smile and gave him a weird glance."If shes tired maybe we should take her upstairs.." She said, trying to make it so they could all talk when they weren't around. She stood up."Right? the couch isn't comfortable anyways.." |
Acheron almost frowned at Primrose. She seemed more happy than sorry. Listening to Katie's comment, he glanced down at Kiara. "I'm not sure moving her would be the best option.. She's pretty hurt, and from the looks of it, she can't move without being in pain." he explained. He gave Katie a small smile though. "But it's fine, the couch is okay for now. If I get tired, I'll wake her up." he said.

Kiara seemed to grimace, her whole body jerking softly in her sleep to whatever she was dreaming. Then her body spasmed as the jerk tore pain through enough to shoot white light in her dreamworld. She didn't wake though, as much as her body said she should. Instead, like she would if she were asleep without the injuries, she 'rolled over' to where she was on her other sides and her face was buried in Acheron's stomach.

His eyes widened a little, tensing somewhat as he looked down at Kiara. That had somewhat tickled. He raised an eyebrow at her before sighing. At least she hadn't hugged his waist, since that might have upset his ribs along the way. He was surprised she hadn't woken up. "Okay, correction. She can still move a little, but she's sure to feel the pain when she wakes up?" he said, though it sounded more like a question.
