[[I'll start up a thread. Break off when we land in America?]]
Nathaniel entered the room to see Tomiko and Jason cuddled up. He'd never seen the girl look so relaxed. He'd never seen Jason look so happy. "Cute." He said, knowing it would probably piss Jason off. "Sit down, buckle your seatbelt, and Andy hold Riley close until we're up in the air. Tomiko, I've got your bank on the phone." He handed it to her and she frowned at it, moving even closer to Jason. She discussed the change of accounts and within 24 hours she'd have all her money in Bank of America. She hung up and nodded to the pilot who was waiting. "Phone's off, you may fly now." She took a deep breath and then shook her head. "I'll be too far away from water. Are there water bottles on the jet?" Nathaniel shrugged and stood, looking through the kitchen. "I've got two bottles of water. And alcohol out the wazoo. Will it be enough?" She held out her hand and he handed her the water bottles. "How much alcohol in the alcohol?" "I've got near bear in here. N.A, non alcoholic, which has .1 percent." "That will work too. Ew, though." Nathaniel shrugged and felt the plane start rolling. He sat down and buckled up. "This only takes about five minutes. Then we can walk around." |
((Sounds like a plan))
Andy nodded and held Riley close to her, though she didn't want to let him go, anyways. He'd fallen asleep against her, and she had the sneaking suspicion that he knew she was gone for a while and wasn't sleeping well because of it. He woke up and fussed a bit as the plane took off, but she rubbed his back a little and he drifted right back off to sleep. Jason stayed close to Tomiko as the plane took off. He didn't like flying much, but he could put up with it. He wasn't fond of small spaces like the flight cabin, though he didn't have much choice at the moment. |
"I'm afraid of flying... objects. We'll be way up and the ground is way down..." She said quietly then smiled. "I want to stay with you." She said and sighed. "Are you still in high school? I'll be a senior, do you think I can go to a public school?" She asked, clutching onto him tightly.
Nathaniel kissed Andy's forehand and rested a hand on her leg. It was going to be a long flight home. |
"I'm sure you could go to a public school if you wanted," Jason replied, wrapping an arm around her. "I don't see the point, for only one year, but if you want to..." He shrugged a bit. "I graduated already, but I went to a tech school, so I don't need to go to college."
Andy leaned against Nathaniel, still cradling Riley. She was much more relaxed now, and she was tempted to fall asleep as well, but she didn't want to accidentally drop her son. |
"Go to sleep, I've got you." He said and wrapped an arm around her and his son. "You look tired." Nathaniel whispered and smiled. He missed her way too much. He needed her well rested and happy... And soon. Graduation was just a round the corner and if she wasn't already she would soon be preggers. He didn't want a grumpy fiancee. Okay, so she wasn't to be called his fiancee yet, but she would say yes, one of these days. But when was the right time?"
Tomi smiled and nodded, enjoying being beneath his arm. "Okay... And tech school. Uhm... short for..." She was butchering her English in her mind. "Technic...al? What's that mean? School wise?" |
Andy nodded and leaned against Nathaniel. She was asleep within moments, cuddled against him with Riley.
"It just means that I learned a trade alongside a traditional education," Jason replied. "It wasn't college prep classes, it was high school academics and classes to teach a trade. I went into diesel and automotive, so I know my way around cars." |
"I've never been in a car." She whispered and glanced at him quietly. "I'm not technologically illiterate, I know everyone has at least one in America. They're expensive." She said and shrugged. "I guess there will always be need for people who understand cars. I think there's a bedroom?"
Nathaniel pointed to the back and winked. She frowned and stood. Shaky, she had never been up in the air except for those brief moments in the helicopter. "Thank you." She said and looked at Jason then smiled. "A real bed? Should you and...?" She asked Nathaniel and he smiled. "I'm comfortable just like this, you two go. Nothing I wouldn't do." He said and Tomi frowned. "You have a child out of wedlock." Nathaniel glared and she nodded, going to the bedroom. "A bed!" She said and climbed onto it and curled into a ball. "Mmmm I love beds." |
"I have a car," Jason said. "It wasn't a very good one, to start with, but I fixed it up." He rolled his eyes a bit at the exchange between Tomiko and Nathaniel and followed Tomiko into the little cabin. He curled up with her on the bed and pulled her close. "Much more comfortable than the cot, though I think I liked your waterbed better."
|
"I did too. Except my waterbed was actually on water. One of a kind bed." She saod and wrapped around the male, getting comfortable with the male. "Mmmm much better than the cot." She whispered, not so tired now that she was with him.
|
"I remember," Jason replied as he held her close. "I almost fell in once." He let her get comfortable with him. "I'll be glad when we can touch the ground again. I don't like flying all that much." He cuddled close to her. "Seems we're alike that way."
|
Tomi giggled as he cuddled closer and she flushed, afraid he'd think back to the previous night when all she needed was touch to... to... She shivered and clutched onto him. "Nice to know we're not polar opposites." She whispered and pulled herself closer to him, being kept warm. "You know... I kind of forget where we are when I'm with you. I like it that way."
|
Jason held her close, comfortable cuddling with her. He knew very well that the day before was just a one-time-thing, though he kind of wished they could go a bit further than they had been. Well, he'd just have to be patient... Good things come to those who wait and all that good shit.

**J is for Jaso--- PSHH! J is for Jealousy!
Nathaniel grinned and took RIley when he'd woken up. He chatted with a pilot until they landed and smiled as he peered back into the main room. "Andy, sweety. Wake up. We're back on land. Come on." He said quietly. |
Andy woke slowly.
"I'm up, I'm up," she mumbled as she rubbed her eyes and stretched. She felt a lot better after sleeping, though a hot shower and her own bed would work miracles. Looking around, she saw Riley sitting on Nathaniel's lap and unconciously relaxed a bit. |
"Good. Hey GUYS!? We're leaving now! Jason, your parents dropped off your car when I left to go to Japan. We'll see you Saturday. You are babysitting! Oh, bring extra cereal, we'll have run out..." He said and grinned, opening the door from Andy. "A shower, and then? What shall we do then? Because you have homework. But you also have me time you've missed out on. And I've missed you."
|
"I'll take Riley if you grab my bag," Andy said, gently taking Riley. She settled him on her hip so that he could look around as he liked and made sure her bag was all closed up. Focusing on it, she lifted it into the air and floated it in front of Nathaniel.
|
"Careful with your powers, we're still at an airport" He said and winked. Nathaniel opened a blanket and wrapped it around his son. "Let's get you to the car." He said and led her to the parking lot. He owned the private jet, they had no reason to go through security. He smiled as they reached the car and unlocked it. "Get in." He said, putting the bags in the car.
|
Andy made sure that Riley was comfortable and warm as they went out to the car. Once they got to the car, she put him into his car seat and made sure he was secure before going around to get into the front passenger seat.
"Alright, ready when you are," she said. |
Nathaniel started driving towards the house but occasionally glanced at his girlfriend. He slid his hand into hers and frowned. WHat had she been through? She seemed so distant, far off and in her own world that he wasn't a part of. "I miss you." Not missed. No, he still missed her at that time. "When are you going to come back?" He asked quietly.
|
Andy blinked when he brought her attention back.
"Sorry..." she murmured. She hadn't meant to space out. It was just easier to not think than to risk letting her thoughts wander to what had happened. It would take her a long time to get over it. She needed something to keep her mind off of it. Taking care of Riley would definitely help. |
That wasn't an answer but Nathaniel was sure that that wasn't going to change. He wasn't going to get any more information from her and he didn't care what happened in Japan, he cared about her feeling safe and being happy with him. If she stayed like this for too long it would change their future, she would have Annabelle and they wouldn't get married, and they would never have that flat in New York. One little thing could change so much. "I love you." He whispered quietly into the darkness of the car.
|
"I love you too," Andy murmured back. She wanted to be home, so that they could put Riley to bed and then go back to their own bedroom for the night. Even if all they did was cuddle, she still wanted to spend time with Nathaniel. She grinned a bit to herself when she realized that. She was getting to the point where she couldn't imagine life without him. Maybe she'd accept his proposal next time...
|
Nathaniel glanced at the girl and saw the smile. "I'm glad." He said and grinned, glancing in the rearview mirror at his son. "He missed you, he didn't stay silent for more than 15 minutes, luckily, the few days you were gone you only missed a minor case of diarrhea. Congratulations." He said and smirked.
|
"I missed him, too," Andy replied. "I missed you both." She didn't mention how hard it was to deal with her highs without him there. She'd been able to deal with them on her own before he came into her life, but she hadn't realized how much of a struggle it would be when she actually had someone to miss.
|
He finally pulled into his driveway and grinned. "I'll get Riley, you get inside and draw up a warm comfortable bath. I'll put Riley to bed and join you? If you want?" Nathaniel asked and kissed the girls cheek. He got out of the car, still unsure of whether or not she'd accept his offer. He'd just sit in the bathroom and keep her company if that's all she wanted. He opened the backdoor and got his son out, wrapping the cover around him. He pushed the unlock buttons on the house and it opened.
