Tyrel whispered a few things, mostly just comments about how cold it was and how they needed to get dry, but then allowed himself to merely rest. Lying still, the elf stroked Teia's damp hair repeatedly, watching as the vampires left. Why would they leave us alive? His blue eyes flickered back to the woman in his arms when she spoke, and a light blush dusted his features. "If you think I'm amazing, you obviously have never seen your own reflection."
With a chuckle, the male continued to stroke her hair and back comfortingly. "I would save you if I had to give my life to do so, Teia. I love you."
-

With a smile, Vincent wrapped an arm about Laia's waist, pulling her to him roughly to give her a tempting kiss before snagging her arm. Tossing her onto his back so she could hold onto him, the dark-haired vampire used his hyped-up speed to head toward the village. Surely there would be blood spilled that night . . . and if they played it right, it could be blamed on the "demon" that the village was all worried about: Tyrel.

Seer of the Past 07-25-2010 05:09 AM

Teia blushed and kissed him softly. "I love you too." she whispered and got closer to him. "But I am perfectly warm right here next to you" she said looking up at him. She could careless about being dry. She was with the man she loved and he loved her too. She was the most happy person in the world right now and couldn't believe she had a man like Tyrel.

"So how are we going to do this love?" Laia asked getting off his back and taking his hand. "shall we make it look like that water elf did it?" she asked smiling knowing that was what he was thinking. "And how do you plan on doing that?" she asked and licked her lips smelling blood.

Esmme 07-25-2010 07:42 AM

"We leave a trail leading back to him," Vincent said, his voice rough as he looked toward the village. His fangs were lengthening as he realized just how hungry he was, and the vampire scented the air through parted lips. "Wreak havoc, and lead the fools back to the elf." He wasn't surprised that Laia had known what he was thinking - she had been guessing at his thoughts for many moons, and getting it right nearly every time.
"For now," he hissed, flashing his mate a pearly-fanged smile, "let's feed." In a blur of dark crimson and black, the vampire slipped into the first tent - they would eat well that night.
-

Tyrel smiled, letting his eyes close as he felt himself drifting on the edge of consciousness. It wasn't as safe while they were out in the frost and snow, but the elf found that he was warm with Teia. Shivering slightly as he thought of the frost and ice that was all about them, worsening with the night hours, Tyrel gave the woman a gentle squeeze.
Relaxing with his arms about her, the male finally fell still. We'll move in the morning. It was far too warm to move at that moment. "It's time to rest," he whispered, breathing in Teia's scent before closing his eyes and sighing. "Sleep well, Teia. I will be here."

Seer of the Past 07-25-2010 02:57 PM

Laia nodded and smiled widely. She followed him into the tent and smiled widely seeing humans. She bent down to one, put her hand over the man's mouth, bit his neck, and started sucking te blood. She couldn't believe how wonderful blood tasted when one hadn't fed in ages.

Teia smiled up at him and curled closer. "Ok. I am glad you will be here when I wake." she said softly. She started falling asleep from how warm it was there right next to Tyrel. She was so comfortable that she was soon asleep. She was clutching his shirt not wanting to leave him ever. He was that one thing in her life she would do anything to keep with her or alive.

Esmme 07-25-2010 08:29 PM

((*laugh* I don't think Tyrel was wearing a shirt . . . :XD))

Vincent didn't bother being civil with his food. Making a general mess in the silence, the vampire pushed a dead body away from him, satisfied with his fill of blood. They had gone through two tents, each of them full of adult and teen members of two different families. Their absence would be noticed quickly.
After being sure that Laia was finished, Vincent smiled slightly, his red eyes lingering on the blood she had on her before grabbing the ankle of one victim. "Ready to go, love?" he asked, taking a step back toward the lake. In doing so, he started to drag the human behind him, leaving a bloody trail that the hunters of the village wouldn't miss - and it would lead right to Tyrel, just as planned.
-

Tyrel slowly fell asleep, holding Teia to him gently until he felt her breathing even out. It was only after she'd drifted off when the elf allowed himself to fall into rest, ignoring the frost of the night around them. I have her. I will survive through the night. He'd never spent a winter night outside of his underwater home due to the ice, it would have killed him had he been alone - but the woman's warmth was enough to keep him safe. And she needed him.

Seer of the Past 07-26-2010 02:24 AM

((oh oh well))

Laia smiled. "Yes" she said smiling wider. She grabbed another victim and followed Vincent. She couldn't wait to see what happens. "Shall we lie and wait in the trees to see our plan unfold?" she asked softly once they had placed the victims just right.

Teia smiled in her sleep and kept close to Tyrel. SHe had never had a good nights rest like that. She felt so at ease and comfortable in his arms. It was amazing how all she saw was him. But she was happy about that. She never wanted to stop seeing him. Not even in her sleep.

Esmme 07-26-2010 07:28 AM

(())

The look on Vincent's face was one of agreement. "Humans never look up," he said with a chuckle, and then waved Laia toward the trees. "I'll join you in a moment." After speaking, the vampire headed over to the sleeping couple, looking down at them with a look of distaste before leaning down to finish setting up their crime scene - a good smear of blood on their pelt, a bit of the crimson liquid dripped over Tyrel's hand, and a line of it on the elf's face. It would look like he was the "creature" who tore the people apart.
With a smile, the dark-haired vampire flickered away into the night, one with the shadows. When he was perched up on the branch beside Laia, he leaned over to give her a pearly-fanged smile. "If this goes well, we will have our own village to feed on for many moons."
-

It wasn't long after the vampires had left their trail when the first scout found it. Quite a few of the men were roused, and they all headed to where they expected to find the killer - the lake. Just as they suspected, the blood led them right to Tyrel, who lay sleeping with Teia beside him - not a good picture from their point of view. Now he really was a seducing demon from hell - sleeping with a woman after killing off their home citizens?
Arrows drawn from multiple points, a few of the hunters approached, planning on killing the water elf right then and there. It was a slight noise that drew Tyrel from sleep, and his blue eyes widened as he saw the first man with his weapon drawn.
Everything happened so quickly then.
Pushing himself away from Teia, the white-haired youth grit his teeth as he felt the sting of the first blow. The blade nicked across his chest, but that wasn't his problem - the issue was the fact that multiple arrows were flying at him. Calling upon the waters of the lake for the second time that day, Tyrel grunted with the effort of calling the cold waters forth. As soon as the frigid water ran over him, slamming in to the closest of his enemies, the elf let out a cry of pain - one of the many arrows had found it's mark. Falling to one knee, Tyrel tried to ignore the shaft that had embedded itself in the bone of his thigh, water rushing to protect Teia from any harm. Focused on keeping the woman safe, he suddenly realized that the effort of using so much power was ruining him. Breath coming in ragged gasps as the elf tried to keep the water shield up in front of Teia, Tyrel grimaced as the leader of the hunters approached, knocking him to the ground.
They very much planned to run him through right then and there.

Seer of the Past 07-26-2010 01:49 PM

Laia smirked from her perch watching everything lay out. She watched and was ready to see that elf killed.

Teia woke hearing water and a rush of cold. Her eyes snapped open not feeling Tyrel. She sat up and and ran infront of Tyrel. "No! You can't kill him with out killing me too" she said. SHe was mad that someone would frame Tyrel. He didn't need blood to live. "He was framed. He doesn't need blood to servie." she siad pointing to the bodies. She then realised the bit marks on the neck. "He didn't do it. Cold ones did. Look at the bit marks on the neck. Tyrel doesn't have teeth like that. They aren't sharp enough" she said desperately trying to save Tyrel.

Esmme 07-26-2010 04:55 PM

The instant Teia moved, the water shifted away from her, unable to follow.
"A demon hides his appearance well," the hunter growled, giving Teia a shove to get her out of the way. "And his words are like poison." Looking the woman over, he scoffed. "He seduced you, just like Malik said. And now he kills our people?" Pointing to the torn body, the man shook his head. "I see no reason to blame anyone but him!"
Tyrel flinched as he realized there was blood on his hands, and slowly reached up to wipe some of it off of his face. Where did that come from? The elf frowned, and then concentrated on keeping the partially frozen water between her and the hunter. "I don't kill humans," he said, trying to keep his attention on Teia.
With a growl, the large man merely shook his head again. "I don't see how you can prove that. Here are the bodies, and you have blood on you. You sleep with a woman from our village, who you have tricked with your lies, and then you claim you are innocent!" Motioning toward Tyrel, the hunter inclined his head. "I am a fair man. I will give you the chance to prove yourself innocent . . . but it will not be pleasant."
A few of the other hunters moved to pull Tyrel to his feet, and the elf met Teia's gaze firmly. "I love you," he said quietly, for which he was struck across the face. But he had to say it . . . just in case he didn't get the chance ever again. Both arms held, the water elf was pulled toward the village, limping due to the arrow in his leg. Foolish humans. They never look in the right direction. Perhaps that was why the humans and elves ended up in war.
As they moved away, the shield about Teia dropped, and Tyrel nearly leaned against one of his captors as he felt the weariness close in on him - that's how it was every time he used his power, and now that there wasn't much of it left . . . he needed to be careful.

Seer of the Past 07-26-2010 05:20 PM

Teia knew what they were saying wasn't true. She knew Tyrel loved her with all his heart and he would never seduced her. "I love you too" she said looking at him sadly. She silently followed. She wasn't leaving Tyrel. She needed to help him. Also she couldn't stay there other wise she would break down and cry and that wouldn't help her get Tyrel back. She heard something in the trees and looked up. She looked right into the eyes of Laia. She ran knowing the vampires set tyrel up.

Laia swore under her breath. "She saw us. Now what do we do?" she asked looking at Vincent.

Esmme 08-05-2010 07:06 PM

((Oh my. I read this, but never did type out a response. I'm so sorry!!))

Tyrel let out a weak cry when he saw Teia run away, and he grit his teeth as he looked ahead again. Is she abandoning me? The elf hissed as one of the humans holding his arm jerked him forward again. The arrow embedded in his leg was painful, to say the least. Unable to call on the waters of the lake, the elf was pulled away from his home, toward the village.
His blue eyes filled with agony as the hunters proceeded to bind him to a roughly cut and upstanding pole, their ropes biting into his wrists. Tyrel turned his face away from the man who cursed at him, binding him with another rough rope that cut across his bare chest and waist.
When they finished, the tall male sank against the rope, wishing he could sit down. His leg was on fire, especially after someone walked by and kicked him. Letting out a cry, Tyrel grimaced and looked in the direction he had last seen Teia. Why did you run?
-

"We give her a scare," Vincent replied, licking his lips. "But if we hurt her, the other humans will see that it wasn't the elf." Dropping from the tree, the vampire raced after the woman, leaping into the air and bearing down on her with his weight. Instead of landing on her, he tumbled beneath her, shielding her from the ground's tearing roughness.
"Do you want to do the scaring?" he growled, speaking to Laia, "or shall I?"

Seer of the Past 08-05-2010 07:16 PM

((It's ok. I do that too))

Teia looked at the vampire shocked. "You did this. You two did this to Tyrel." she screamed at them. She fought and then got away. "You two make a new low" she screamed and ran towards the village. She found tyrel and waited for everyone to leave him then she ran up to him. "Tyrel." she whispered looking up at him worried. She stroked his cheek then kissed him lovingly. "I will find a way to get you out" she said quietly looking him in the eyes.

Laia growled. "There is something about that girl. We might want to be careful with her. We might be able to turn her. She would be a strong vampire" she said looking at Vincent.

Esmme 08-05-2010 08:26 PM

"She would make an interesting vampire indeed," Vincent said, narrowing his eyes as he watched the woman run back to the village. "We should snag her when the sun sets tomorrow." After all, it was nearing dawn, and they needed to be under cover before they were burned. His pale hand moved to caress the woman's cheek, and Vincent let his expression harden. "We need to leave them for now."
-

Tyrel met Teia's kiss with one of his own, a soft hum escaping his lips. "Don't do anything that will get you hurt," the elf said, relief visible in his blue eyes. His toned form radiated pain, but it was also tense with worry. He was glad to see that Teia hadn't run away . . . but he was concerned that she would be hurt.
Feeling her hand run over his cheek, the tall elf ignored the slight pain - he had been struck not long ago, and a nasty bruise was forming along his jaw and cheekbone. "Please don't hurt yourself," he whispered, meeting her gaze. Blood slowly dripped down his leg, but Tyrel refused to let on that he couldn't support himself well. Leaning back against the roughly-made pole, he tried not to struggle against the ragged ropes that bound him there.
There were a few people watching them, but that couldn't be avoided. There was someone watching over the "demon" every moment of the night, and the daylight hours would be no different. He would be watched constantly until a decision was made about his fate.

Seer of the Past 08-05-2010 08:40 PM

Laia nodded. She took his hand and went to a house she found. "Alright love." she said smiling at him. "She will become a vampire and we will use her to get rid of that elf" she said and laughed evilly.

Teia nodded. "Don't worry. I wont get hurt" she whispered and kissed him again. "Here let me take care of that" she siad seeing the blood running down his leg. She ran and grabbed some supplies. She ran back. "Now it is going to hurt" she said said looking up at him sadly. She kissed him again just so happy to see him. she then started pulling the arrow out of his leg. She finally got it out then she bandaged his leg. "Is that better?" she asked looking up at him.

Esmme 08-05-2010 09:33 PM

"Yes," Vincent said with a smile, grabbing on to Laia's arm. Pulling her to him, he kissed her roughly, closing the door behind them. "She will be the one to kill him."
-

With a muted cry, Tyrel grit his teeth, keeping himself from shouting out in pain. The elf nodded briskly, and then began to relax as the woman bandaged his leg, stopping the blood flow from doing anything else to him. "Thank you," he whispered, sinking back against the pole and wishing he could sit down. Instead, the ropes around his chest and middle kept him from doing so - but that didn't matter. What mattered was that Teia was safe for now.
Watching the female with a gaze full of care and love, Tyrel whispered a few words of prayer to the Lord that she would live. She doesn't deserve to die because of me.

Seer of the Past 08-05-2010 09:47 PM

Teia looked him in the eyes smiling. "You don't need to thank me" she said and kissed him. "I never thought I would have to kill my own people" she muttered knowing she had to kill them so she could save tyrel. "oh I hate these ropes. they are hurting you" she said and wished she could get them so he could sit. She could tell he wanted to. "Don't worry. I will get you out" she said and hugged him best she could.

Laia laughed and kissed him back. "that will kill both of them" she said and wrapped her arms around him and pulled herself closer to him. "You are a genius" she said and kissed him roughly.

Esmme 08-05-2010 09:54 PM

Resting his head against hers, Tyrel closed his eyes. "I know you will," the elf whispered, kissing her temple. "But be careful." Don't act too quickly.
It was then that one of the surrounding hunters shouted something to Teia, telling her to back away from the tied elf.
-

He always had liked the way she complimented him. Vincent laughed, shaking his head. "You said it first, love." It was then that he shoved her against the wall, returning her kiss tenfold. It was going to be a long day.

((:XD And the curtain falls for these two, because I don't do these kind of scenes. But needless to say, they love each other. *cough*))

Seer of the Past 08-05-2010 10:30 PM

Teia nodded. "Don't worry love." she siad and then looked at the hunter. "I am just talking to him." she said and looked back at Tyrel. "because I love him" she said smiling at him. "I wont leave you. YOu might not be able to see me but I wont be far from you" she said smiling and rubbed her nose with his.
(It's ok. I understand))

Esmme 08-06-2010 04:19 AM

"I won't doubt it for a moment," the elf replied, wishing she wouldn't ever leave his side. But that was merely wishful thinking. Tyrel's dark skin glistened in the rising sun, water still keeping him damp despite the frigid air. With a small shiver, he shifted his weight to keep himself standing. It was all he could do. "Eat. Sleep. Keep yourself strong, Teia."
The hunter nearby snorted, mumbling something about seductive Faeries and their powers. Tyrel ignored it. Sure, some had that power - but being a water creature, he didn't.

(( Oh good. I'm glad you understand. lol))

Seer of the Past 08-06-2010 05:42 AM

Teia looked up at him and shook her head. "I can't leave you. They might hurt you." she said looking up at him sadly. "Please don't ask me to go far away from you. I couldn't stand it if I do." she said and put her head on his chest while she still had her arms wrapped around him best she could. "But I will go get food and come right back." she said looking at him. "Do you need water?" she asked looking at him curiously. She shot the hunter a nasty look then looked back up into Tyrel's eyes.

Esmme 08-06-2010 07:55 AM

"Water would be nice," Tyrel said with a slight smile. It was going to be a long night - it was cold. And he was going to suffer from being away from the water for so long - water elves weren't meant to be far from the waters.

((:XD Short. See you later!))

Seer of the Past 08-06-2010 01:38 PM

(It ok)
Teia nodded. She kissed his cheek then quickly ran off to get water. She grabbed some food for her and pelts for both. She went back and wrapped a pelt around him. "I thought you might want to keep warm." she said smiling at him. "How do you want me to give you the water?" she asked and wrapped a pelt around herself. She wasn't going to leave him ever. HOw could she? He needed her help to get out. She then got an idea. Sh wasn't going to tell Tyrel because then that riseks the hunter hearing her plan.

Esmme 08-07-2010 05:46 AM

"Help me drink it?" the elf asked quietly, tilting his head. "Please?"
The pelt that Teia had wrapped about him was precariously held between himself and the pole, but kept most of the night air away from him . . . but it wouldn't keep away the frost and snow that was slowly forming. Tyrel kept his blue eyes on the woman that refused to leave him, care in his gaze - she loved him. And he was so pleased with the thought, that he couldn't stop staring at her.

Seer of the Past 08-07-2010 02:08 PM

Teia nodded and pored some into his mouth. She eat some food and held some out to him. "Would you like some?" she asked softly. SHe looked back at him smiling. She knew she had hardly any time to get him free because once she stars cutting the rope she couldn't stop. She stroked his face gently with love and care. "Don't worry I will get you out." she whispered getting closer to him and looking into his eyes.

Esmme 08-09-2010 03:20 AM

He accepted the water with a grateful heart, and the elf then relaxed as best he could. Knowing that Teia was with him gave him courage, and the tall male looked to the watching hunters with a soft expression. I'm not your enemy. Glad for the pelt from his friend, Tyrel closed his eyes.
It was a long, cold night, and when morning came, it brought soreness and discomfort. Come to find out, he wasn't going to be released at all - or fed, for that matter. Without Teia, he would have died of thirst and hunger. The decision was to be announced that evening when the sun set - would he live or die?
