Teia stood as she woke. "good morning love" she said smiling at him. She leaned into him. "Don't worry I have a plan to release you if they decide to....you know. It wont take please till the next day." she said and kissed his ear. She smiled at him. "Here" she said holding up some food for him.
|
Tyrel tilted his head when she kissed his ear, and the elf watched her offer food for him. He looked . . . tired. It was as though being away from the lake was almost hurting him; slowly draining what energy he now had. The frost was slowly melting, which made him happy - snow had threatened to fall the previous evening, and Tyrel wasn't looking forward to it.
Taking a bite of the food that Teia offered, he closed his eyes and hummed happily. He was starved, honestly. Tyrel gave her a thankful glance, his blue eyes full of gratefulness as he ate. Shaking his white hair from his face, the tall male accepted Teia's help with an open heart, loving every moment of it. "Thank you." |
Teia smiled at him then she couldn't let him be like this any longer. SHe looked at the hunter who was luckily looking the other way. "Tyrel I am getting you out. I can't stand you being like this any longer." she whispered then disappeared under the pelts. SHe pulled out a knife that she had on her thigh and started cutting the robe on his chest. After what seemed like hours she finally cut it. She then stuck it to the pole so It looked like he was still tired up. She then started working on the next one down. She worked as fast as she could. After a few hours he wasn't tired up at all. She reappeared. "Now you have to stay as close to the pole as you can. If you don't they won't think you are tied up." she whispered. "Now once they make a decision if it's not good you make a run for it. Go back under the water. I will wait for spring. I would rather you be safe. But if it is good then we can leave together." she whispered to him. "I love you" she said and kissed him lovingly.
|
"Thank you," Tyrel whispered thankfully against her lips, and then forced himself to stay still. He didn't want to do anything that would get them caught. It was many hours later before anything happened - the elders had made their decision. One of the broad-shouldered men approached the pole in the middle of the village, inclining his head.
"Demon," he started. It wasn't sounding good. "You have been charged with seduction and murder against our people, and you have wounded others." A blade suddenly appeared in his hand, glinting in the setting sun. Tyrel's blue eyes filled with hard emotion, and he glanced to Teia. So be it. It was time to run; to separate. - Stepping back out into the coming darkness, Vincent smiled. "Tonight we turn her," he hissed, breathing in the village scents. |
Teia nodded to him slightly. She wouldn't be far behind him. "I love you" she whispered looking up at him. She knew that this would be a long winter but she would live threw it. She would keep a spot in the water so he could come up. She looked at him sadly but knew he had todo it to save himself.
Laia giggled. "She will tast delicious" she sid smacking her lips. |
"Very much so," Vincent said with a chuckle, grabbing Laia's hand and pulling her along. When they reached a place where they could see what was going on, the vampire brushed his dark hair out of his eyes. The strip of crimson fabric that kept most of the long locks out of his face was doing it's job . . . for the most part. Keeping both Laia and himself out of sight, his red eyes followed the actions of the people.
- Tyrel waited for the man to approach, a blade drawn and poised to plunge into his chest. In a fraction of a second, the elf burst into motion, breaking away from the rough wood. Disarming the startled hunter, the white-haired youth rolled to the side, moving in long strides toward the edge of the village. I don't want to leave her. As soon as he got to the edge of the lake, Tyrel paused, his blue eyes flickering back over his shoulder to Teia. "I love you," he mouthed, gritting his teeth as he prepared to plunge into the icy waters. In moments, he was gone - not even a ripple appeared on the lake's surface. |
Laia smiled as she followed her love. "Well she is now broken hearted...that will make her tast better" she whispered and smiled at what was happening.
Teia's heart broke seeing him say he loved her then disappearing. She took up her bow and shot at all the men there. She saw a bunch running after her so she ran. She couldn't go to her teepee. She kept running. She ran to some rocks that over looked the lake. She turned to see the men coming to her. "You are the one who was seduced by that demon and now you have to be taken care of so you wont hurt anyone else." one said and Teia stepped back but feel into the water. SHe screamed as she fell and thrashed around. It was so cold. |
"If she doesn't drown first," the vampire replied, gritting his teeth as the humans chased Teia into the water. She fell, and Vincent growled in irritation. "He'll get to her before we can. We will have to take them at night, when they sleep next. Perhaps before dawn, when they've worn themselves out."
- Hearing a second collision with the water made Tyrel look behind him. He was near the bottom of the lake, looking up to see Teia struggling to return to the surface. He was short on breath, but forced himself up toward her, using the waters to push the both of them to the air once again. Gasping, he pulled her with him, making sure she could get air. "Teia!" he coughed, supporting her with what little energy he had left. "Breathe deep! I need to dive before they see us, love." Knowing that the cold would be hurting her, numbing the woman's limbs and reactions, the water elf fought to hurry. |
Laia growled. "This is so annoying" she hissed. Getting mad.
Teia held onto Tyrel. "P-Please let me come with you" she begged staying close to him. She knew his tradition but she didn't care she wanted to stay with him. She looked at him shivering wondering if she would be able to swim. Her arms were locking up around his neck. |
Vincent nodded, his ragged red cloak flitting about him as he turned away. "For now, we avoid the humans. The girl will be ours before morning, love. Don't stress about it." He kissed the woman's cheek quickly, stepping toward the trees once again.
- "Take a deep breath," Tyrel said in response, worry in his eyes. Taking a breath for himself, he watched as Teia did the same, and then dove under the surface. Gracefully swimming toward the bottom of the lake once again, the elf led the woman carefully and swiftly as he could. They went under a rock-like surface that led to a small tunnel, and then broke the surface just when it seemed they would never reach air again. The cool air in the cave was the same temperature as it always was - cold. Getting out of the water and pulling Teia with him, he held her as close as he could. Feeling her shiver made him frown, and Tyrel pulled her over toward his bed - a pile of thick blankets and a few furs that he'd managed to get down into his den. "Sit here," he crooned, pulling her down with him as he cradled her into his lap. Trying to warm her up, the elf wearily hugged her to him. "Everything's alright now. We'll be alright." |
Laia nodded and followed him. "If she messes this up I want to kill her" she siad looking at him hoping he would let her.
Teia kept close to tyrel and nodded. She kept close to him as her shivering slowed down slightly. She kept as close to him trying to warm up. "B-but what about you t-tradition?" she asked looking up at him curiously. She kissed his chest. "I-i love y-you" she whispered and closed her eyes smiling. |
"I would rather have you live," Tyrel whispered, shifting the blankets to wrap about them, "than follow a tradition that threatens your life." The elf slowly began to wring the water from her long hair, trying to dry her as best he could. When the woman kissed his chest, he took a slow breath, shifting to kiss her lips before letting her settle down. When she had, he began to comb her dark hair out with his fingers, the slow motion repeating as he tried to soothe her shivering.
The white-haired male was still thinking of his traditions - his people would kill him if they found out. But then again, they already sent vampires after both Teia and himself. Exhausted, and feeling down due to the use of his power, Tyrel practically collapsed once Teia had stopped shivering for a few moments. Closing his icy blue eyes, the elf immediately began to fall asleep, his arms wrapping around the woman to keep her close to him for more warmth. - "I will help you tear her limb from limb if this fails." Vincent chuckled, reaching out to grab Laia's hand and pull her with him. |
Teia smiled as he combed her hair with his hands. IT felt so good. She smiled wider feeling him falling asleep. SHe stroked his head and stayed close knowing he needed her warmth and she needed his. She looked around and smiled. It was cute and cozy down here. She wished she could stay with him forever. She soon began falling asleep and dreamt she was staying with him forever down there and she some how became a water elf too. She hoped that in real life that could happen to.
Laia smiled evilly. "This will be fun. I am almost hoping she fails" she said wanting to destroy her. "But what if she doesn't come up" she asked looking at Vincent. |
"She won't surface," he whispered. Waiting for the hunters to give up and head back to the village, the vampire chuckled. Pulling Laia after him, Vincent stepped down to the water, smiling as he touched its surface. "We need to go in after her. They will be tired; they won't fight as much. Just turn her in front of him, and he will never be able to forget it."
Letting go of the woman's hand, the dark-haired youth dove into the water, heading down to the bottom. Since he didn't need to breathe, he took his time, ignoring the folds of his cloak as it flit about him. If he were human, it would have been a disadvantage. As it was, he merely looked like a wraith in the water, his red eyes looking back to Laia. It was time to turn Teia; to set the couple against each other. Locating the den wasn't difficult - and neither was getting there. Rising up in the small pool inside of Tyrel's home, Vincent scented the air silently, smiling as he saw the two of them asleep. Stepping close, making sure the freezing water did not drip onto them and make them wake, he reached out and pulled Teia away from Tyrel, bringing his foot down to hold the elf's throat to the ground. "Hold the elf down," he hissed to Laia when she entered the cave, and he jerked Teia to keep her away from her friend. Vincent would be the one to turn Teia - and he was already looking forward to it. |
Laia smiled and held tyrel down watching Vincent. She couldn't believe their luck. They were so defenseless like this.
Teia woke feeling cold hands around her. She looked up and let out a horrifying scream seeing it was Vincent holding her. She fought trying to get away once she saw Laia holding Tyrel down. "Tyrel wake up" she screamed at him and struggled more. what was happening? She had thought the two had left already and they wouldn't have to worry about them. |
As soon as Teia's weight was lifted from him, Tyrel woke. It was then that a foot to his throat kept him still, and he gasped for breath as he watched Vincent tear the woman away from him. He struggled, but then found the vampire's mate holding him down. Her hands were like clamps of ice pressing down on him, keeping him away from Teia.
"Teia!" He was more than worried - the vampires seemed to be playing with them. The dark-skinned elf brought his legs up to wrap around Laia, trying to get her to lose balance. If he could get a hold on her, perhaps he could get away. He had to save Teia. The waters at the edge of the cave lapped at the stone slightly, but Tyrel was horrified to find that his powers were far too weak to help him. No! - Vincent laughed, pulling Teia with him. When they were a few feet away, he pushed her to her knees, standing behind her. The vampire's fangs glinted in the dim light, and he knelt, using one hand to hold her still and the other to brush her hair from her neck. It was time to turn her. Hearing Tyrel's cry of horror, Vincent sank his fangs into her throat, pulling her back against him. You might even enjoy this, girl. Drinking deeply, he would drain her until she was nearly dead, and then finish off the turning. There was nothing the elf could do to save her now. |
Teia looked at Tyrel scared. She had no idea what was happing. But once she felt his fangs sink into her neck she let out another scream. "Tyrel please make it stop" she yelled reaching for him. Tears falling from he face it was the worst thing she had ever been threw. She soon started feeling faint. "tyrel please" she whimpered. SHe realised she was going to wake up a vampire. But there was so many things she wanted to do as a human. She wanted to marry Tyrel as a human, and have his kids. But if she was going to become a vampire all that wold be taken away from her.
Laia laughed seeing Teia cry out for Tyrel. "What are you going to do elf?" she asked looking at him. "How are you going to get to your precious girl now?" she asked wanting to see his pain as well. She looked down at him. "She isn't going to be able to do the things that all humans want to do" she whispered and smiled at Vincent. |
Vincent clamped down on Teia even harder, forcing her to stop struggling. His fangs sank even further, and he growled quietly, drinking her lifeblood as though she was merely a vessel of the drink. Tyrel cried out, trying to get to her, hearing her call for him. It was the most torturous thing he'd ever been through - his heart was torn seeing Teia be bitten. "Teia!" Her whimper, her voice - everything was like he himself was being stabbed. I can't help her! His expression broke, and he pushed against Laia, trying to get to his friend. When he spoke, his voice was broken, ragged with fear. "Please! Please stop this!"
Finally getting away from Laia with a savage shove, the elf rushed forward, only to see Vincent clamp down on Teia again. Feeling the female vampire grasp his arm, Tyrel let out a heartbroken cry. There was nothing he could say or do to make them stop - he was too weak. Too weak to help Teia, to save her. Fighting against a broken sob, the tall man tried to jerk away from Laia again, feeling himself weakening as the truth set in. There's nothing I can do. |
Teia watched tyrel try to get to her but she knew he couldn't help. A tear fell down her cheek as she felt he life slipping away. "Tyrel....I love you" she whispered and reached for his hand. She wanted to hold it at least when she died. She wanted to feel him and know he was there for her even if he couldn't help her. "Please if you are going to kill me let me hold him" she whispered feeling weaker and weaker.
|
"Let go!" Tyrel ripped himself from Laia's grip, falling to his knees as Vincent released Teia. The elf swiftly blocked the vampire's out of his concern, focusing only on the woman in his arms as he pulled her to him. The blood that covered her neck and shoulder frightened him, and his blue eyes were wet as he leaned down to press his lips to her forehead. "I'm so sorry," he whispered, pulling her even closer. When Teia was finally in his lap, the male practically consumed her with a hug, and then a passionate kiss. "I love you. I always will." But it will be hard when you're one of them.
- From where he was standing a few feet away, Vincent calmed his labored breathing, licking his lips slowly. "She tastes just as good as she smells," he chuckled, moving to stand behind Tyrel. When the time came, he would pull him away from her. But for now, let him suffer. It was nice to see some drama in an elven life; they all had it so nicely, the vampire reveled in seeing pain. Glancing to Laia, he grinned. "I'm full. How about you? I don't know what will be left in here after she turns . . . she'll be hungry." And the only thing to eat would be Tyrel, who was too weak to escape from two, let alone three, vampires. |
Teia looked up at Tyrel and smiled. "I love you to" she whispered and pulled herself up to his lips best she could. She pressed her lips to his then feel back. "T-Tyrel please don't leave me.....ever" she whispered and felt herself falling unconscious but she fought to stay with him. "I-I think he got all the venom out" she whispered looking into his eyes. She finally lost her battle and feel into unconsciousness. She still clutched onto Tyrel never wanting to leave him.
Laia nodded. "Well if she is really thirsty she might take care of him right then" she said and wrapped her arms around vincent. "I hope she tastes as good as a vampire as she was a human" |
"Teia," the elf whispered, fighting back tears. Cradling her to him, Tyrel closed his eyes, burying his face in her hair. "I will never leave you." The last time she looked into his eyes made his heart shatter - she was no longer human. After she fell into unconsciousness, she was no longer his. The woman would be subject to instinct and brutal thirst - and he was the only living thing in the room. Yet, without even pondering it, Tyrel knew he wouldn't be allowed to leave. The other vampires would ensure that he stayed . . . and he supplied Teia with a meal when she awoke.
Continuing to hold the woman he stroked her hair as her heartbeat slowed, silently letting a few tears fall. Not willing to let his enemy see his pain, Tyrel squeezed his blue eyes shut. I love you. - "I suppose we'll see," the dark-haired vampire replied, ripping his gaze away from the couple. For a few moments, he watched Laia, but then turned his red eyes back to the elf. Elves couldn't be vampires. That was known from earlier histories; every time they were turned, they would die in agony. It was something with their blood, which was so resilient to human sickness. "We wait now," Vincent said quietly, moving over to the bed and sitting down on the makeshift pile of blankets and furs. Patting the place beside him, he looked back to Tyrel and Teia. "We wait to see how their reunion works out." |
Laia smirked and walked over and sat next to Vincent. "Well this shall be fun to watch shall it love?" she said smiling at the two. She knew this was ripping out Tyrel's heart and it would kill Teia once she had killed him. "How long will she be out? I don't want to wait forever for the show." she said and put her head on his shoulder.
|
"By dawn, she will be one of us," Vincent replied, chuckling as he stroked Laia's cheek. "Only about an hour now."
- Tyrel rocked Teia for the remainder of the time he had, but let out a colorful amount of words as Vincent grasped his shoulders, pulling him away from the woman. Dawn was there. "Leave me be!" The elf fought back, but wasn't strong enough to defy the vampire as Vincent pulled him toward the middle of the room, using a strip of leather that Tyrel had once used as a belt to bind his hands behind him. Tyrel snarled, spitting in Vincent's face before being shoved violently against the stone wall. The action made the tall elf grimace, and he was stunned long enough for Vincent to drag him toward the middle of the room again and hold him down with one foot on his shoulder. I'm sorry, Teia. |
Laia sighed then smiled. SHe was so happy for dawn.
Teia slowly woke and looked around. She felt so thirsty and once she saw tyrel she almost jumped on him and feed but in her heart she knew she couldn't. She loved him to much. She looked up at the other two. "Let him go" she hissed. She might be a vampire but she cared enough for Tyrel to not feed on him. |
