Kai left and went to a baby store not wanting to run around thirty stores just to find a few things.
Nami's body relaxed in his sleep. He purred loudly when she kissed him. Naoki rolled on his stomach in his sleep as he purred loudly. Kiri looked up at her then blinked. She just stared at her like she was expecting her to fly or something. Maybe do something to heal her boredom. |
Launi looked over at Naoki.She had a feeling he was going to be just like Nami.Launi was a bit unsure to how to stall Kiri while Kai got her toys.She remembered the doctor telling her that she liked playing with her finger or something like that so Launi let kiri hold onto her finger.

Naoki purred loudly in his sleep making Nami purr just as loud. Kiri's eyes widened as she squealed and grabbed onto her finger. She was amused by the littlest things. She giggled then squirmed a bit before she pulled the finger into her mouth and sucked on it as she played with the other fingers.
Kai grumbled at the long line at the baby store. He was being hassled by a lot of women wondering why he was doing last minute shopping for a baby. Some even wanted pictures of the baby cause he was so cute. |
Launi was glad she could stall her with her fingers.It was very cute when she squealed.She almost squealed herself.While Naoki and Nami purred loudly Launi couldn't help but to smile at them.They were just so cute.Launi felt like her and Nami and the twins were her family.Launi would probably cook for them and clean for them.She would basically do what any stay at home mother would do.

Kai sighed when he finally pulled into the drive way. He though he'd be maybe five minutes at the store and twenty minutes driving. But no. Stupid women. He picked up his bags then walked into the house. "Hello. i'm back," he said as he put the formula in the kitchen with the bottles and chew toys cause he knew they would need them. Then went up the stairs to her room with a few dolls, blocks, and diapers. He smiled at them. "Having fun?" Kiri was still happily playing with her fingers. When Kai walked in the room and talked she got scared and started crying. "Sorry..."

Launi gently rocked Kiri in her arms.She had Kiri close to her chest so that she would feel safe.She had a feeling whenever a baby or a baby kit in this story that if they heard or felt a person's heartbeat they would feel safe."Its alright."Launi said softly and not too loudly that Nami or Naoki would wake up.

Kiri slowly started calming down as Naoki shifted more in his sleep. Nami just curled into the small kit and soon they were purring again. She looked around then giggled as she started playing with her fingers more. "I'm really sorry. I'll knock next time. She must've gotten scared with me appearing like that." He smiled weakly then just moved closer. "I got some toys. A few dolls and blocks for him to play with. I hope you like them little ones. I also got diapers for when you need to change them."

"That might be a good idea."Launi said with a smile"Thanks Kai for getting all of this."Launi said with a smile though she couldn't help but to smile brighter when Kiri giggled.It was such a cute giggle."hey Kai what kind of food do Kit's like to eat?"Launi asked not knowing what they eat.Even if she was a Kit herself she couldn't remember a lot about when she was a kit herself.

"Well for now they're just going to have formula for a few weeks. Usually a month. Then they'll start out with soft meat like chicken probably but still have milk cause if they change there diets too quickly it will do more harm then good. Then soon they'll be eating normal human food. By the time they're old enough they'll be eating you out of a house." He smiled as Kiri looked at him then blinked not knowing what he was doing there and half wanting him to go away. Her tail moved slowly as she watched him. Kai smirked at this. "Looks like she wants to jump on me and bite me protecting you right? Isn't that right little Kiri?" He laughed when he heard a low growl. "Aw~! Her first growl~! And it's to protect her mommy~!"

When Kai said mommy launi had to wonder.Did Kiri think of her as a mom or just a good friend.Though she probably wouldn't know for a while until maybe Kiri spoke or until she was a bit older maybe."You must like making kitsune's growl and want to bite your head off."Launi said rocking Kiri gently to calm her down placing her hand by Kiri to distract her from Kai.

Kiri blinked at the hand then squealed and hugged the entire hand. She glared at Kai and growled at him protecting her hand. She thought of Kiri as a mother and Nami as the one that gave birth to her. Kai smiled at her. "You are just the cutest thing~!" He moved a bit closer and she jumped at him barely getting anywhere but Kai caught her and she bit his arm. Kai only smiled at her. "Yes I know. I won't touch your mommy okay?" Kiri growled a bit and Kai had to pull her off and give her back to Kiri before she calmed down even a little. "I just love messing with Kitsune's."

Launi pet Kiri's pet to calm her down and she rocked her gently.Launi gave her hand to her again."Nami's going to kill you if he finds out you were teasing Kiri."She said pushing Kai's forhead hard.

Kiri purred loudly as she happily played with Launi's hand. Nami growled angrily as he woke up. Kai immediately moved away. If Nami was angry enough he could kill Kai and he didn't doubt it. "Sorry," Kai said smiling a bit. "I'm just making friends with your daughter."
"Get away from us," he said finally being able to talk more then a word. He felt better now that they were out of the hospital. He would be much calmer now. Naoki woke up then started crying. He calmed down immediately when Nami picked him up. He giggled then looked around sleepily. |
"Told you he would be mad."Launi said sticking her tongue out.She smiled over at Nami."Glad to see your awake."She said kissing him as Kiri played with her hand.Launi liked how Kiri liked her very much.Maybe she liked it so much because Kiri saw her as a mother and Launi never got a chance to be a mother.

Kai only sat on the floor calming Nami down a bit. He smiled down at Launi and kissed back when she kissed him. "How is little Kiri doing? Is she having fun with Mommy?" Kiri looked up and squealed happily. Naoki looked around then spotted one of the dolls in the bag. He blinked then reached for it. "What is in the bag?"

Launi blushed and her tail swayed when Nami kissed her back.Her tail showed that Launi was very happy with Nami and the twins."Yes she is."Launi said with a smile."In the bag is blocks,dolls and diapers for the twins.Kai got them for us."Launi said with a smile.

Nami blinked then sighed. Kai picked the bag up and picked a doll out. "Want this?" he asked very amused that he wanted the doll. Naoki smiled then reached out for it giggling. Nami blinked then watched at Naoki happily played with the doll. "That's not normal..." he said softly then just licked. Kiri giggled as she just continued to play with Launi's hand.

"Maybe Naoki just thought the doll was pretty looking?"Launi said tilting her head looking at Naoki and Kiri both with a smile.She couldn't help but to giggle while Kiri played with her hand.It was the cutest thing.

Nami nodded but he thought something might be up with him. He was hoping he was just wrong though. He smiled at Naoki as he played with the doll then pulled it close hugging it then snuggled into his chest. "My good boy." Kiri blinked seeing the doll the frowned. She took it from Naoki and giggled. Naoki frowned then sniffled as he hid his face. He was more submissive then his sister even though he was a few seconds earlier.

"Naoki could also be very sensitive Nami."Launi said with a smile."Some guys like to cook and sew and things like that.It doesn't automatically mean something is wrong with them."Launi said with a cheerful smile."Kiri you shouldn't take it from your brother.There is more than one doll see?"She said holding another doll to see which twin would like better than the one Kiri took from Naoki."Be nice to your brother."Launi said petting Kiri on the head.

Kiri only smiled hugging the doll closer. "You're right," Nami said then gently pet Naoki. "How about the doll your mom is holding?" he asked smiling softly. Naoki sniffled and clung tighter to him. He wanted the one he had first. Kiri giggled and looked around. She didn't want to give it to him. She wanted to prove who was the dominate one. And for now it was her. "That's not nice Kiri. Don't fight now. You're too young to be finding out who is better." He boped her on the nose and she only giggled louder and went after his fingers. "You're so strange little one. What is it with you and fingers?"

Launi smiled."Kiri is probably the tough one and maybe bossy one of the two.Naoki probably is gently shy quiet and sensitive.I was much like Kiri when i was a kit."Launi said with a smile.Launi couldn't help but to giggle."Kiri is a strange one but i was quite strange when i was a kit too."While Kiri had the doll out of her hand Launi held out her hand so that she would play with her hand and Naoki would get to play with the doll.

Kiri giggled as she started playing with Launi's hand again losing interest in the doll fast. Naoki quickly took it from her and hissed submissively as he held it tight. He smiled then weakly tried to move away so she couldn't take it. Nami smiled and laughed. "Yes. I remember how you picked on me so much." he said then moved Naoki away. He laid him on the bed on his back and he happily played with the doll. Kai put the blocks on the bed then smiled at Nami.
"I shall see you later. If you need anything just call. Even a babysitter when you're less viscous."Nami glared and Kai quickly left. Nami sighed then just watched the three. |
"Though you were really fun to pick on."Launi said with a chuckle as she continued to let Kiri play with her hand."Hey Nami if your hungry i can make you something to eat so just let me know if you get hungry."Launi said with a sweet smile on her face.Launi asked that because she wanted to cook for Nami for one and she wanted to see if any of the food she would throw up.Though one thing she was unsure was that was her breathing and coughing up blood going to continue or not.
Launi began to feel a bit tired.Though she didn't show that she was tired at all.She acted as if she had a lot of energy in her.She didn't like people worrying about her.Launi thought if someone worried about her she would automatically become a huge burden to people. |
Nami smiled then kissed her softly on the lips. "Well we should make sure you can eat food. And the twins are going to need a bottle soon. Then after that we're all going to sleep. I know you haven't been sleeping much. And I don't want you getting sick. I don't want my love to be in anymore pain." He smiled brightly then kissed her again. "I love you," he said softly. Kiri happily played more with her finger then sucked on it. She was getting really hungry. She squirmed a bit then whimpered softly.
