♦____◊◊◊_______♢__♢_______◊◊◊___Introducing ☣ Zeke ♐
http://i50.tinypic.com/2d6qdkk.jpg ◤__________________________________◥ ℓifting his head up to glance just over the paper he was reading, Zeke felt a pool of sweat form on his head. It was day three of the Biohazard headquarters not having AC. Sighing his typical 'if you want something done, do it yourself' sigh, Zeke's chair squeaked as he backed out of it. ◣_________________________________◢ |
Meet Sione Sione wiped a bead of sweat off of her brow- it was unusually hot again, and it was starting to irk her. It wasn't so much the heat as the inconvenience of it- her fingers would get slippery and she'd drop things that shouldn't be dropped (like knives. Those are unpleasant around toes.) With a sigh she pulled her bi-toned hair away from her neck, pulling it into a neat ponytail. This left her back bare, which was rather comfortable. She was dressed rather scantily- shorts, a bikini top, and boots made up her outfit. It wasn't something unusual for her; everyone was more or less used to it by now. She liked the ease of movement the lack of clothes gave her. She left the common room and treaded down the halls silently, her soft leather boots making virtually no sound. She had gotten an assignment, and she decided it was best if she got started on it as soon as possible. After collecting her weapons and going through the required checkpoints, she found herself waiting quietly on the elevator. She recognized one of the boys there- his name was Zeke, if memory served correct. She waved back to him, shifting slightly on her feet. "Good morning, Zeke," she said in her soft, flat voice, watching him with an almost interested expression. If one looked closely enough, they would see the tattoo in her right eye- as well as the color difference between the right and left. It was a well-known fact that Sione was blind in that eye, but it didn't seem to affect her. ((pfft. Sione's a slut.)) |
~Meet Aysel http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j2...irls/spell.jpg Aysel walked into one of the "break rooms" so to speak. She glanced around, squinting her startling violet eyes. A few of the younger girls were standing in a tiny pack a few feet behind her. They usually did this; watched her like she was famous. Though she strongly disliked it, she tolerated it. There were no teeny bopper role models here on Jupiter. She turned around and the girls scuttled back a few steps. A smirk came over her face and with a flick of her wrist gave them a small "I know you're there" wave of her hand. She turned back and headed out another door, leaving the girls to whisper in their little group. "Yo Ace, what's up," she heard a deep voice say beside her. She glanced over and saw one of the security guys walking down the hall. He was big and buff, but he was a softy when it came to her. "Max, hey," she said and smiled at him. "Going hunting?" He asked curiously. She stopped in front of the cork board listing wanted convicts. "Thinking about it, you?" she replied, glancing over the flaps of paper. "Nah, maybe later." She turned her gaze to him again and smiled. "Cool. I'll see you later," she told him and began running her fingers slightly over the papers. "I'd wish you good luck, but you wouldn't need it. See ya Aysel," he called as he walked down the hall. "Hmmmm, who to choose," Aysel said quietly under her breath. She glanced over the papers, and saw a few of them were signed. The first name she saw was Zeke's and she chuckled a bit. She didn't know him insanely well, but she knew he was a damn good hunter. She decided to do some base spying; it was a tactic she was good at. She occasionally did it; she'd basically try to hang around the base of Team Radiation, or scour some of the planet to try to hear any information. Walking into the laboratory, Aysel called out to the biotists. "Ah, the faithful biotists! What do you have in store for me this time?" She turned and saw her equipment laid out on a table. She saw a new set of daggers, for regular usage or throwing. "Oooh, chemically dipped daggers. Thank you very much ladies and gents," she yelled as she slipped her weapons in place. Most of the biotists called out "welcome"s to her. She slipped her dual pistols in holsters, her daggers into a velcro holster around her ankle, as well as one slipped up each sleeve, so that with a flick of her wrist she'd have it in her palm. She hid a few grenades on her body, as well as another gun. Aysel began walking to the teleporter, sighing as she stood in front of it. She waited for the scan to finish, her mind drifting away. She thought of the last convict she had brought in. He had been a notorious one, and he was very much so injected with chemicals. He had been a tough one, but she had managed. The biotists had done their thing and deep within the earth the convict sat in a holding cell. The teleporter beeped as it finished, and Aysel walked around the corner. She hummed a tune under her breath and pulled down the sleeves of her snug fit long sleeve black shirt over her wrists, hiding her Biohazard tattoo. She glanced up, and she was a bit surprised to see Zeke standing in the elevator shaft. "Hold that for me," she called out to him. She added a "Please" after, and stepped up her pace, her slim body gracefully gliding across the floor. She stepped into the elevator and smiled at him. "Thanks," she said and held her arms behind her back. ~ |
Zeke’s plain expression shifted into one of slight delight. “Why hello there Sione.” His lips were oddly spread as he allowed himself to consciously stare at her. Pushing them together, his lips moved as if he was about to send a kiss her way. No kiss came, but the look was still on his face. Within seconds his lip curled and his nose wrinkled. A loud ‘Ahhh-choo’ came next it was surprisingly high-pitched and painfully annoying, too.
“God,” he said moving his nose about, “I swear I’m allergic to the heat or something.” Rubbing his nose with his right hand, his eyes opened a bit wider as he looked back at the female before him. Actually, he was looking just past her. “Aysel, correct?” Tilting his head to the side and then giving it a light jerk, he beckoned the female to join him. “So are you both off to find a convict? Or are you scouting today? I figured after a quick takedown, I might scout. I’ve heard rumors that Snipp’s Cove might be housing some thug Radiated members. But who knows. It’s probably just a trap.” Rolling his shoulders back, a light popping nose escaped from the air between his aching bones. “Ugh, I think when I get back I’m going to pay our biopracter a visit.” A smug look soon followed. “Or maybe I’ll try out the new spa. But with this heat, I’m not sure I’d make it.” His harmonious laughter lightened the mood of the elevator ride. Most of the hunters or scouts figured this might be their last ride, but with Zeke onboard and laughing as he was, he seemed to ease everything even if it was only for a moment. The sound of scrapping metal boomed across the area. Wincing and opening his jaw to help alleviate the painfully eerie nose, Zeke shouted “Well, I wish you both the best of luck. If you’re bored, you should accompany me.” Figuring they couldn’t hear him, Zeke didn’t see a problem with suggesting partnership and forming a small team. Half figuring they’d not hear a word they said, Zeke let his hands fall to his side. Just as he did, the large metal doors opened and light slowly came rushing in. Blinding at first, Zeke blocked it from his eyes by using his arm. |
Meet Sione Sione offered a small smile, which was a rare occasion. She had always found Zeke to be a rather interesting character, to say the least. She made room for Aysel as she boarded, pushing herself into the corner. She leaned against the warm metal and crossed her arms over her chest, her face perfectly blank. As the loud noises of the elevator coming to a stop filled the air, she heard a murmur, which was probably someone talking over the sounds, their voices obscurred. She looked to her right and saw that it was Zeke talking; a wry light flashed into her eyes. He was probably counting on not being heard, but she had to make up for her blind eye, and her hearing was superb. She stepped off the transport and gave a small cough as she inhaled the dry, hot air. Pushing her bangs out of her face, she searched for Zeke. "Hey Zeke," she said, her voice a soft, lilting soprano. "If you wouldn't mind the company, I wouldn't mind coming along. I'm only scouting, but I have all day to do that." |
︽ ◇◆◇____◇◆◇____《 Cue Vittani 》____◇◆◇____◇◆◇ ︾ Strutting her stuff like she was the top dog, Vittani's cheery eyes scanned the wasteland of a planet she'd come to call home. Dreary and gassy all the time, but rather enjoyable, too. She absolutely loved the freedom she had and she loved the ever changing weather even more. |
☢ Welcoming Riley ☢ http://images2.fanpop.com/image/quiz...61_500_375.jpg Riley leaned against the rickity old shack she had out at Snipps Coves as, just watching the Biohazard settlement from a distance. "I wonder how much longer they can last without their blessed AC in this heat," she chuckled to herself through her hooded gas mask. It was something she had created while on Jupiter. During her time in the army there had been many versions of it but none seemed to work in the vast toxic fumes of Jupiter. She finally got it though; it was a double vented gas mask with a burlap hood. That material was then covered with a very fine layer of a charcol cloth and finally over lay with the thinnest dragonskin she could make. She was proud of it and made sure that her people were well equipped with the devices. Her hand reached down to her hips where her dual gunblades for the day rested. They were still in testing mode, though she had used them to cut the main chords to the Biohazard AC. The place still seemed to be opperational, but honestly she didn't think they could last much longer, especially with the summer months coming up very soon. With a sigh Riley opened the door to the small shack and after pressing the doorbell which sounded through the single room building, she then closed the door and pressed the lock. While this did lock the door it set something else up. Walking to the complete other side of the room she then flipped the light switch and while lights came on, they weren't what you would expect. Mechanical sounds started whirling, compressed air being released as numbers touch pads released themselves from the walls. Each one of the touch pads was operational in their own way but Riley knew exactly which ones she needed. Side stepping to the one beside her she punched in an eight digit code, she then walked to another pad on another wall where she put in her finger print. There were many steps to this, but the green haired girl was no fool when it came to the security of her devices. Unlike most places on earth that had an eye scan, Riley put in a tattoo scan. There were at least seven different pads for this opperation. Walking to a particular one, the girl unzipped her jacket and lifted her black shirt just enough for the computer to see it. More air was released as the worn wood floor boards on the floor began to react. All the boards were worn, but it was the ones in the middle that began lowering and tucking away. Once moved, the hole revealed a single circular platform. Walking over, Riley stood in the middle and after a few ticks the flatform began to lower. The girl was smart when it came to her location for this place. From all the places she had looked, Snipps Cove had the thickest radiation clouds below the 'surface'. This made what the girl had below there practically impossible to see. As soon as the girl was low enough, the entired shack reset itself, no clues as to where she was going. Moments later though the platform came to rest in a large white, almost lab looking room. This was where Riley did all her work, where her new weapons and defense technology came to life. Once stepping off she looked to her right where in a glass sat her military issue uniform and gunblade. They were there as a reminder and she hadn't used them since. Walking towards the center of the room to a large table with different gunblade casings and other devices, the girl sat down. Beside her was a computer council that ran diagnostic checks as well as served as survaliance for her shack. She knew the others for biohazard would be there at some point, possibly at least, so it was only a matter of time before she had to let them in. In the meantime the girl got to work on a new add-on to her currently equipped gunblades. No one had thought anyone could get anything working on the planet but Riley had managed to find away to get a facility running off of the radioactive gases, the complex itself built from the strongest materials from the planet's moons. It was at times like these she was glad that she agreed to work with Vittani. |
This is Nil "Sorry to disappoint, Vittani," Nil said smoothly, running a hand through his bright orange shock of hair. "Just making the rounds, you understand I'm sure." He quietly slipped his knife back into it's sheath- he hadn't been all too sure who the figure had been from the distance, but now that he was closer he knew it wasn't anyone who was a real threat. He brushed at his pants, then looked up at the sky. It was ungodly hot, like any other day. Nil vaguely wondered if he should have worn less.... black. He shrugged and adjusted his goggles, turning the enhanced vision off so that he wasn't zoomed in on Vittani's face. "Anything interesting come up," he asked, flexing his right hand and pulling on the glove to make sure it was on properly. Little things like that irritated him; he was a perfectionist, of course. He pushed his hair out of his face again, but it merely flopped back into his field of vision. With a frustrated sigh, he left it, instead resting one hand on his hip. Conveniently, it was the side where his pistol was. One could never be too cautious. [[Durp. This post disappoints me >.>]] |
Aysel slipped into the elevator, smiling as she did so. "Thanks, and yes, I'm Aysel," she said, looking over to him. "And you're Zeke, right?" She asked, feeling the vibration of the shaft humming through her feet. Her mind spun in circles; half of it was on Zeke, she had always found him interesting, and half of it was on scouting. The elevator grew louder, and she could only barely hear Zeke's words. ((I'm thinking of making Mason an actual character, but he was brought back to life by the biotists on Team Radiation.))--Flashback-- The sounds of approaching feet stopped Aysel and her team in their tracks. They could hear murmurs of words; and noises coming from directly in front of them. She turned, her violet eyes full of suspicion. "Shhh," she whispered quietly, and her team nodded, grabbing their weapons. Glancing back in front her, Aysel saw a figure approaching her. She first saw blue hair, then a lean body equipped with weapons. After the figure grew closer, she saw violet eyes, just like her own. "Stand down!" The figure yelled to his team as he continued to approach. She did a signal with her hands, telling her team to stay where they were. Aysel approached the figure, knowing just who it was. "Ah, sister," the figure said. Aysel gulped down her fear, making sure her daggers were still perfectly placed in her sleeves for easy throwing. "Mason," Aysel said in monotone, not letting her emotions play through her voice. She felt a bead of sweat trickle down her neck, but she ignored it. Her purple bangs fell slightly in her face, and she tilted her head to get them out. She blinked, and in a second Mason had two guns in his hand pointed straight for her heart. Her eyes widened. "I'll kill you, and your team in a heartbeat Aysel Mae Black," he spoke, no feeling in the voice except for anger and a bit of smugness. "I'm your sister," she replied, her voice quiet and light. It was the first time her team had seen her or heard her hesitate and put any emotion besides ruthlessness into killing an enemy target. "You think I care? I don't care any more than I did when I killed our parents," he said. Her heart clenched and she thought she would vomit. She saw his finger began to tighten on the trigger to shoot, and she raised her arms, flicking her wrists. The daggers once snug next to her arms shot out, launching throw the air and hitting him both in the heart, like darts hitting the bullseye. His jaw dropped open and he began to fall to the ground. Aysel ran to her brother, ignoring her team telling her not to. She collapsed next to him, pulling him up and putting his head on her chest, next to her heart. "I'm sorry Mason, I'm so sorry bubby," she whispered in his ear, using her childhood nickname for him. Blood began to pour out his mouth, falling onto her shirt. He tried to croak something out but, she shushed him. "Don't," she said, running her hands through his bright blue hair. She held one of his hands with one of hers, and the other slowly stroked his cheek. She felt his last breath, his heart pumping slowly one last time, and his head slumped against her chest. She didn't know how long she sat there, holding her dead brother's body in her arms. When she finally let go, she laid the body gently on the ground. She looked up to his team; her eyes were cold and empty, her heart the same. She pulled a single red rose out of the leather jacket she was wearing. She placed it on his body; a signature she was known for after kills. She laid a second one as well, for her sake. She stood up, picking up her daggers and placing them in her pocket. She walked back to her team. "Let's move, we're still on a mission," she said to them, walking ahead. "But, Ace, you just killed your-" one of her team members, Nixon, began to say. "I know. I killed my brother, and if you dare mention it again or try to excuse or pity me, I'll kill you next," she cut him off. She turned on her heel, making them all jump back a bit. She crossed her arms behind her back. "We set out on a mission, and we're not abandoning it. What I did doesn't change that." She finished, looking at them with slanted eyes. "Do you at least want a jacket to change into?" Another team member asked, nodding his head towards her bloody shirt. He began to take off his jacket, and another member followed suit. "No. I don't want your jackets, I don't want your pity. I'm still your captain, and I'm ordering you all to drop the subject, and get on track. Now. Let's move." She turned on her heel and began walking, already past her brother's body. --End Flashback-- Aysel closed her eyes, pushing away the sudden memories that comae flooding in. "I was just planning on scouting, but I don't mind joining you," she said, her voice a bit rough after the emotion the flashback brought. She kept her stare focused ahead, looking hard at the door. The doors opened and light flooded in fast, blinding her. She was glad for it; it gave her a chance to clear her mind and wipe all traces of emotion off her face. She cleared her throat as her eyes adjusted to the light. She turned her stare back to Zeke, putting on a small fake smile for show. |
♥~☢ Fayt's Shoutout ☢~♥ [IMGright]http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f190/xXSango-ChanXx/Misteor/Copyofgrin.jpg[/IMGright]Bored. Fayt was bored. He had left Radiation Headquarters earlier in the day and had been wandering around since, somehow finding himself near Iyno Caves. He reached up a hand languidly to fix his eyewear before reaching up farther to fix the tiara he had in his hair. It was like his signature item, somehow managing to survive the corrosive properties in the gas that made up Jupiter. How long had it been since he'd breathed actual air? Many years, too many years. That air would probably be poison to his lungs now. Or at least close to it. It was getting hotter, he noted, and the sun was definitely higher up in the sky then it had been when he'd first left headquarters. He briefly wondered how many other Radiation members were up and about before dismissing the thought just as quickly as it had come up. If they needed him for anything they would just contact him. Riley would probably be able to find him easy enough. Funny girl that Riley, almost as funny as that Vittani. Vittani could be older than him, no, she was older than him, but he had been here longer. She just came one day and declared herself leader. Fayt smiled at the memory, he had walked out of the room as soon as she had said that. She had been pretty pissed at him about that. Riley, she was probably one of the newest members of the team. She had seen what Vittani could do and had joined in a heartbeat. She probably had her own agenda that one. Now one couldn't say that Fayt didn't like his own teammates. He just had a certain degree of distrust in all things. He could get along with all of them fairly well anyway. Nil and Niya were alright people. As alright as suspected murderers and convicts could get anyway. Save for the tempers and the random lapses in sanity everybody was pretty civil. Shaking his head slightly to rid himself of his thoughts, Fayt walked closer to the caves, a harsh wind swept across the terrain, causing his trench-coat to whip out behind him. He knew his way around fairly well, after all, there wasn't much to do on a gas planet besides explore and bring back information for those biotists back at headquarters anyway. He then ducked under the nearest protruding structure to escape the blinding glare of the sun for a bit, this time using both hands to reach up and adjust his eyewear, adjusting the view to scan the horizon, he only had a pair of sai with him today along with a few throwing knives. He'd left before most of the biotists had gotten up, it would be bad if he was caught unawares. The coast looked clear. He sank to the "floor" and leaned his head back on the structure, letting his legs rest for a bit. Those Biohazards should be up by now. He scoffed as he stuck one leg out to stretch it, what right had they to come and try to take their home? Hadn't they been the ones to send them here anyway? Such hypocrites those Biohazardists were... ((I hope this post was acceptable? It's just a little character development since I think almost everybody is engaged in some sort of conversation with one another?)) |

Introducing Niya Niya pushed the goggles off of her face for a second so she could rub her eyes with a sweaty hand but pushed them back into place when he ehard a sigh come from aound the corner. Now Niya usually wasn't this curious but she couldn't help but wonder who would be out this far on the surface, if you could call it that. Sticking her head around the corner she spied a dark head bent down low over a strectched out leg. Taking a deep sigh she looked down to the floor and closed her eyes, Friggen hell Fayt! Voicing her thoughts she strode quickly up to him and twirled alittle on her boots, much like a Dancr would. "Hi Fayt! Thought you could be rid of us today?" She giggled, "I don't think so!" She tiwrled again on her toe and came to a stop at Fayt's feet. Niya wasn't always his childlike but something had possessed her when she woke up this morning to find a giant spider crawling along her outstretched arm. She usually didn't come ut this far but something she couldn't even control drew her closer and closer towards the enemy. Maybe it was Zeke. She couldn't help but begin to think of the event that had almost landed her in extreme trouble and almost dead. A woman lying against a wall, covered in blood and slowly dying, most like everything else Niya touched. Shaking her head she smiled down at Fayt, well she smiled as much as you could with the mask she was wearing to protect her from the gases on the planet. "SO, what brings you this far out? Looking for something? Or just trying to get away?" She tried to sound non-nagging and almost like she really did want to know but that's what she was trained for, to aquire infomation and targets at any cost. Most likely with a cute smile and a bt of her silver eyes. {I hope this is okay?} |
Fayt's head jerked up when Niya's voice broke through the ..."silence" that he had been surrounded with. It was slightly muffled by her gas mask and he could see her eyes light up slightly, or turn up a little anyway, signifying that she was smiling at him. It was strange, he'd been here so long he didn't even need a mask anymore but for people like Niya, it would have horrible consequences if they didn't have masks...thought Fayt probably wouldn't have minded a few of his "teammates" dying. "Getting rid of all of you? I think not, I'd lose whatever sanity I had left if that was the case." He answered with his own smile, watching as Niya twirled around in front of him. So it seemed she was in a childish mood today.
"Any particular reasong you are out this far Niya?" Fayt countered, not many Radiation members liked coming this close to the enemy unless it was for a recon mission, or something of the sort. It was not safe for them since they were still being hunted and hunting in return. To put it in simpler terms anyway. "You know me Niya, I can't stand being cooped up for too long, I've been here long enough as it is." He sighed before stretching his arms above his head with a small groan, waiting to hear the pop from his shoulders before letting his arms drop back to his sides. Then he got up and bent backwards to stretch his back. When that was done he straightened his clothes, brushing off the "dust" that had accumulatd on it while he was sitting. Then he fixed his tiara yet again. He'd never truly explaned to anyone why he was always wearing one, but at least none of them had been stupid enough to make fun of him about it. You didn't become the best tactician for a group of convicts easily. And since he could double as a soldier...well that just made him deadlier. He knocked the side of his palm against his head, what was with him and getting lost in thought today? He raised his own silver eyes, though his had multi-colored specks in them, to meet Niya's, since he had been staring at the floor. "What do you say to going to see Riley Dear? ((as in he's calling Riley "dear" not Niya XD I don't know why I just felt like typing it...?)) I didn't exactly come out prepared for a battle or fight, whichever you prefer." As if to prove his point he pulled out the sai he had brought with him and twirled them around his wrist for a bit. In a gunfight he would be able to bring down most of them, and probabl wound others, but in the end there would be a high chance of him not surviving the bout. ((by the way sweet_serender159, I like Niya's picture ^^ it's cute.)) |
Zeke smiled at the luck he was having. Even though he wished to be alone, he knew it would be better to have company. With his partner Savayan always working on engineering issues and cases, he’d be forced to work alone these past few times.
Eyes flickering open and then closed for about ten seconds, Zeke’s ginger ways kicked in. He was light on his toes even with the heavy suit on and swept nimbly across the terrain. As he came closer to the fence that indicated he was about to step foot outside known ally territory, he took some time to ponder some thoughts that danced around his head. Being here on Jupiter was unlike Mars or even Earth. Time moved faster, yet slower. Ages no longer mattered, but they still did in a sense. The years here were longer than normal and often caused issues with telling age. Birthdays, they were just something everyone was forced to give up moving here. However, to keep themselves somewhat sane, they decided to break the years down based on Earth’s months. On Earth, one year was about 365 days long. Here on Jupiter, one year was equal to twelve Earth years. A twelfth of each year mimicked the months that Earth went through. Thus, to help with remembering, every one Earth year on Jupiter was named after a month. For example, right at this time they were in the year of August, the driest and most painfully hot 1/12 of a year on Jupiter. The following 1/12 year would be called September followed by October, November, and then December. When December finally came, one year would be complete. Right now it was August 4173. With just four more one-twelfth years to go, Zeke felt the reality of his true age hit him. Even though the term ‘day’ was dropped out of use and forever cast into the nonexistent, he couldn’t help but gaze at the clock they used in headquarters. It told the day as if it were still on Earth. Technically, in Earth terms it would be March 13th, the day of Zeke’s twenty-second birthday. A light mumbling sound drifted into his ears. Snapping his head to the side, he’d realized he’d zoned out and was too busy thinking about the word ‘day.’ Zeke shook his head and then decided he’d been silent long enough. “I figured I’d try and take down this punk, but I might just pay our Tesla Coils a visit. I heard that a disruptor went down and could use some fixing. I might also take a peek at cooling unit and see if I can help get us out of this dreadful time of no AC.” Dipping his head down to duck under a low hanging wire, Zeke’s interest peaked when he noticed that there was a low hanging wire. “Hmmm, that’s odd. Perhaps I should call Savvy over here. She outta know what’s going on.” Using the hi-tech goggles, he was able to dial up Savayan. “Hey there, we have a low hanger out here. Want to give it a look-see? I’m off to visit the coils.” Laughing lightly at the conversation he was having with his female friend, the male bobbed his head. “All right, thanks babe.” His head turned as did his eyes. Now looking at Aysel and Sione, he pushed his green-hair back. “Shall we?” Cocking his head toward Snipp’s Cove, he figured going out with some partners would be better than dying out their alone. Snipp’s Cove was cross-breed territory. Both sides had laid claim to the land and both sides sabotaged one another out there. Not even paying any attention to their answers, he began the journey over there. He passed by hanged bodies and even a few empty shells of what used to be ammo on the way there. Here and there laid a body corpse, freshly killed. Hmmmm, I don’t like the feel of this. Eyes scattering about and looking for just about anything foreign sent Zeke a little over the edge called paranoia. Ever since he lost his Adel he’d been a different man. Distant, but still near although he forever found himself nitpicking over the little things. Having his enhanced eye sight do all the looking, Zeke came to conclude that eerie silence would naturally terrify anyone. “So, how do you like living here?” was the best conversation opener his wary mind could think up at this time. ---------- [Eep. That was longer than expected. ^^; Oh well, I put some information about the year in there.] |
((You should see my post in mine and `death by bunniez RP, it was nuts! XD))
Riley had sense taken off her mask, her filtration system in the lab was running perfectly fine, so far that day. While the lab ran off of the toxic fumes, she also managed to filtrate them so you could breath within the facility, much like within her mask. The under ground AC was pumping out cold air into the room, which was good seeing as she had some rather temperature sensitive materials. Running a hand through her green hair the girl continued trying to piece together the new device, seeing as she was getting closer she set her current gunblades on the counter top beside her. She may have been just a soldier, but with her high test scores and placement in a secret branch of the military, she was the one with the most knowledge of secret weapons that hadn't been produced among other things. A little red light started to go off on the top of her monitor. Sighing the girl tapped the screen and it brought up the footage from one of many cameras she had placed around the planet, most of which being in the cove for protective reasons. "Mmm, now what do we have here?" She asked herself as she spread her fingers across the screen to zoom into the image. "Biohazard out already?" She laughed to herself before adding, "They must be wanting their AC back." She was laughing at this as she turned to look at a pile of discarded tubes and cables laying in the corner of the room. Looking back at the screen the camera changed to another, close to the little run down shack. A smirk came to Riley's face as she brought the mic beside the cousel closer to her face. Pressing the button she said, "You guys better have your helmets on." She was transmitting out to the Radiation members. "Wait, you better have your com. pads in or you're in big trouble." The green haired girl had to fight tooth and nail with many of the people on the team to let her put the devices into the mask. She had told them about the cameras and everything but they wouldn't listen. It wasn't until they were ambushed and the girl had watched the whole thing from her facility did they finally agree. Their numbers have sense remained somewhat stable. "We're gonna have some company over in Snipps Cover, you may want to get to the facility if you need anything. And don't be cheap, you better bring me something good in exchange." It seemed as though she liked to haggle, but of course she didn't want to just give away her 'top secret' weapons. She liked the trade, a lot of times what her team traded with her were items she had been looking for or ones that she would later experiment on with other weapons. |
Meet Sione If the dead bodies bothered Sione, she didn't show it. She tilted her head at them quizically, then pulled out her guns. Better safe then sorry. She listened to Zeke drone on absently, scanning the arid landscape around them. She wondered vaguely why anyone had chosen to live here- she wasn't complaining, but it didn't seem like a very logical living place... She looked over at Zeke as he asked the question, finding it funny how the question coincided with her thought process. She glanced at Aysel, then shrugged. "It's nice enough," she said, taking the incentive. "I mean, the facemasks are a bother. But necessary. Kind of hot, too." She shut her mouth then- she felt like she had been droning as well. She went back to staring at the terrain, as if they weren't about to be possibly ambushed and killed. She pushed more of her bitoned hair out of her eyes with the back of her hand, keeping her gun pointed away from her comrades. She could see Snipps from here, though not very well. Visibility was always low around this area, or maybe it was just her- being half-blind had its downfalls. She stepped lightly, her body moving in a smooth, almost predatory movement now. She was ready for a fight, even though she doubted there would be one. She quickly checked her guns, making sure they had ammo in them and were fully loaded. She actually was quite fond of the pair- she had had them customized, a quote scrawled on the barrel of each. She knew that the quotes would probably wear away with time, and weren't practical anyways- who would read it except for her? Surely not the technicians who cleaned them, they had other things to worry about then what was written on her gun. But she liked them all the same. [[Hurrrm. Random information about Sione's guns >.>]] |
