Please do not post unless you are part of my Social Group. *smiles slightly* We are open for posts now! The Cullyn Den is a dark place up in the mountains overlooking a thick forest. Though the cavern isn't well furnished, it is . . . comfortable. The sense of sheer power and companionship is what seems to give the caves its own life, and the vampires that dwell within its sheltering darkness are worthy of many words. Esmme founded the clan long ago after breaking away from her own. Driven far from the blood-thirsty, feral coven that was once her own, the pale elf made her way across the land, seeking a place where her story could start over. She soon found it while traveling - two elven boys. Kej and Drama, two fast friends that chose different paths in life. Unfortunately, tragedy befell them while they traveled together, and to save a life, Esmme turned Kej into the first of her own clan. She brought the young elf into her clan, finding a den for their survival. Not long after, she found others - a vampire named Helga took a liking to Kej, joining their ranks. Auda, a winter wolf of great power, stumbled upon their den one day, deciding to stay and provide help during the daylight hours. The final member of their clan was Ehl, a young, sick teen who wasn't to live through the night. Esmme brought all of them together, thankful to have a family once again. While the years have passed, friendship grew, and new members have been found. The "first" chosen of the Cullyn clan may appear, but they have been sent into the world in search of others needing aid. Esmme will not turn someone unless there is no other choice; death must knock before the vampire den-mother will change those who wish it. = The Skeleton = My Puppetteer: ((Menewsha Username)) I want to be called: ((Name of course)) Since I was born: ((Age)) I am what I am and you can't change that: ((Race)) Did you look at me?: ((Gender)) What I see when I look in the water: ((Picture or detailed description)) What happened in my life: ((Bio )) I think of myself as: ((Personality)) Color of posts = = The "First" = ((Here is where I would like Auda, Helga, Ehl, and Kej to be posted . . . *chuckle* Even if it's just a description of them.)) The tattered navy curtain shifted, seemingly with the wind. In a flicker of pale movement, Esmme appeared out in the middle of the den, surrounded by the rooms of her family. Scenting the air, the clan leader let her crystal blue eyes linger on the youth sitting near the entrance to their home. Ehl's disheveled black hair fell into his face, but he was concentrating too hard on his book to notice. The moonlight fell just right - and he would only get it for a few hours. Of course they had fire, but that was dangerous to their kind. Stepping up to her newest recruit, the once-sick teen that had been blending in with their clan for the past two years, Esmme stood beside him, stroking his head. Ehl was so used to such motherly actions, he didn't even look up from his novel. For a few minutes, silence filled the dark air. Winter was coming, and, despite how ready they wished to be, they were dwindling in numbers. Kej had left a few months previously to search for others to join the Cullyn clan, while Esmme remained with a few others to keep their den safe. "When do you think he'll be back?" Ehl's smooth voice broke the comfortable quiet of the evening, and Esmme stroked his head once again. "Soon," she replied, knowing that the youth had most likely done just what she thought he had - sifted through her thoughts. "Kej will come home soon." |

I want to be called: Lizz Since I was born: almost 100 I am what I am and you can't change that: vampire Did you look at me?: female What I see when I look in the water: Long flowing blond hair with red highlights, bright ocean blue eyes, with a slight hint of purple around the Iris. I am about 5 6' and weigh close to 140. My face has been described as doll like, angel like, or hidden demon like. My eyes are shaped almost almond like, with full pouting lips. My chest is nicely developed and isn't too big, nor is it to small. I have a tattoo on my left hip of a dragon and it circles around my waist. I tend to wear mostly dresses, or skirts. Most of my dresses are low cut and show off my tattoo. But an outfit I love to lounge around in are black skinny jeans, calf high fuzzy fur boots, (Could be uggs) and a big fur lines purple jacket with a tank top underneath. I always have new things tied into my hair, or a new piece of jewelery, even if it doesn't match. What happened in my life: I grew up in a normal town, as a normal girl with dreams. When I was 18 I met and fell in love with who I thought was the love of my life. He took me away from my family and sold me into the underground sex slave trafficking. I travailed clear across the world, being a slave to one man after the next, until I meet a man by the name of Pitro. He saved me the slave trade, I was at the bring of death from the drugs my owners had given me to keep me aroused and awake at all hours of the day and night. He turned me into a vampire and raised me until he died. I think of myself as: I have been called a b**ch, a cu**, and an angel. I can be the sweetest person you'll ever meet as long as you stay on my good side... but piss me off and we'll have some serious problems, Color of posts = Blue |
((To start things off, I have posted my first blip up in the first post . . . I know, hard to see with all the other stuff going on there!! *chuckle*
Oh! And my little newcomers . . . would you like to be found one by one? *grin* I can have Kej (who is in the city currently) find one, and Es can find Vyr when she goes to find others. Perhaps Auda or Helga can find our third?)) |
((Lizz could be found in the city still mourning over the lost of Pitro and on a blood spree maybe?>))
|
(Sounds good to me... I can play out the fight scene then you find him or you can just find him lying there mortally wounded)
|
((Alright. I'll have Kej find Lizz, and Esmme find Vyr. Anyone volunteer to find Ameika? Oh, we have to wait and see if she comes to us or if we have to go to her.
My first post is finished up there - if Helga or Auda want to start out, that would be awesome. I'll have Kej move in my next post, thus find Lizz. He'll return home with her. Esmme will be going "out" soon, thus my next post will be finding Vyr. So . . . a fight scene would be awesome, Marsyas. =3)) |
(Then consider it done, I'll start the post after the next one I assume)
|
((So Helga, Auda, Esmme, and Ehl are all just "hanging out" at home at night in winter, right? I just want to clarify before I start.))
|
((*laugh* Yes, for the most part. They have taken turns going out to look for others to join them - but as of yet, have found none. Kej isn't home . . . he left a few months ago. But yes. They have been totally hanging out for the past 2 years.))
|
((LOL, awesome. Does anyone want to be found by Helga?))
Helga beamed as she took in the beauty outside. The moonlight made the snow glisten sweetly, almost as though it called her to stomp in it and throw it eat a fist full of it! Knowing little restraint with such urges, she dashed out only to sprint back in. "It is very cold," she muttered to her clan members bashfully, as she retreated to gather her winter clothes again. Rubbing her hands together, she enjoyed the gentle temperature of the cave for the scare minutes she would before exploring for the night. The warmth the cave held could be surprising to most, but over the past two years, Helga had learned to expect nothing else from this place nor from it's inhabitants. With her scarf wrapped tightly around her nose and mouth, and her leather coat buttoned up to the top, she strolled up to Esmme, and in a muffled voice, said, "Vhere vill you be looking tonight? Is there anyvhere you need me to explore?" She secretly hoped Esmme wanted her someplace she could build a quick snowman without it being suspicious to the humans in the morning. Though their previous explorations had all been fruitless, Helga held out the hope that their new family was out there somewhere. Just waiting for them. "You know?" she started before Esmme could answer, "I t'ink ve vill find them tonight," but she said that every night. |
*Auda rolls over onto his back and gently paws at the air, his tongue lolling out the side of his mouth and whimpers* alright there pup, time for u to start waking up *he begins to speak rather dreamily and his eyes begin to open* "ok ok ok, im gettin there. *yawns and starts to get to his feet, just to fall back down again* "oomph, guess i'd better try again" *as he gets back to his feet he's suddenly hit with the urge to pee* "HOLY TROMBONES AND A POGO STICK!! I HAVE TI PEE" *as he makes a mad dash for the mouth of the cave, he doesn't quite notice Ehl until he has no time to do anything other than leap over him* "Lad unless u want my beast parts against the back of ur head u might wanna duck on this one" *he yells right before he makes a flying leap over the wee lad*

((Essme.... I'm sorry..... B...b...but I don't think I can roleplay with a *Action* Roleplayer....))
|
((ROFL, oh Auda.
*laugh* Aw, Dewey has always been this way. ^_^ Usually it bothers me too, but with him . . . bah, I accept it. If it does bother you too much, I suppose I could ask . . . Dewey, would you mind not using asterisks for sentences?)) Esmme withdrew her hand as the blue wolf dashed past, smiling as Ehl ducked with more speed than he usually displayed. "Perhaps tonight," she repeated, shaking her head. "We can always hope." For a few moments, the vampire merely watched Auda disappear into the night. "Tonight I wish to look near the mountains again. Perhaps I will find someone near the caves." Hopefully. "Perhaps you should check the borders of the eastern forests once again?" It had been a while since they'd been patrolled. Blue eyes lowering to Ehl as he safely tucked his book under his arm, Esmme chuckled again. "I never tire of my family, but I do wish we could find more to invite into the den." There were still many rooms that remained open, their different colored curtains remaining still for years. |
if it bothers u i can cut them out. but careful with ur word choice dearie, being referred to as an "*Action* Roleplayer" almost sounds insulting...

With winter drawing closer, many animals had moved on to warmer regions in search of food as they always did. For the hunters of the drow this meant that finding deer, rodents or even bears, anything with meat, was going to be more and more difficult. Auvryarn, a young but skilled hunter, understood the situation and had therefor travelled a bit further out of their normal hunting vicinity in search of something to eat. After hours of searching he had come upon the trail of a deer and had tracked it through a fairly unfamiliar part of the thick forest with only the thought of a meal on his mind. When the young male finally caught sight of the animal grazing about 80 yards from his location, he immediately slung his bow from his shoulder and drew an arrow from the quiver on his back. Taking a position that allowed for a clean shot, Vyr sunk down to one knee making sure not to startle the creature as he put the arrow to the bow and began to pull the string back.
With his attention being completely absorbed by the thought of his next meal, he had failed to notice that he had been being trailed for some time as well. Finally hearing the sound of cracking twigs, the deer heard it as well and dashed off into the night. Vyr on the other hand was now in unfamiliar territory and as he heard the sound he dropped his bow pulling his set of daggers from their sheaths on his thighs and sinking into a defensive position that had been taught to him by his teachers all those years ago. He could tell there was something lurking in his area but couldn't pinpoint a position. Whatever it was, it was fast. Turning slowly in a circle, his right leg forward crossing in front of his left, as he held his right arm positioned in front of him and his left at his side both brandishing daggers. The hunter had now become the hunted as his foe dashed around him in circles never in one spot for longer than a few seconds. The suspense of the pending attack was making Vry anxious and angry, "Stop taunting me! Come at me," he shouted at the silhouette of an attacker. And as if waiting for an invitation the beast lunged at him, fangs bared and claws apparently made of steel as they clashed with hid daggers forcing the nimble elf to the forest floor before he sprung backwards onto his feet. Taking his eyes off the beast had apparently been the worst thing he could have done because by the time he got to his feet, his attacker was nowhere in sight. Then there was this blinding pain that came from a powerful blow against his back. The beast had raked him across the back leaving Vyr with four slashes bleeding deeply. Thinking of something quickly as he clung to his life the elf laid on the ground ever so still, even holding his breath for convincing effect, for a few passing so to feint death and draw his hunter to him. As he suspected the beast appeared before him, apparently walking. The drow waited there patiently as he heard the footsteps draw closer until they stopped just in front of him. Feeling a tug against his hair, it took a great deal of willpower not to make a peep as he felt his body begin to rise from the ground. Whatever had attacked him didn't seem to notice that he never let go of his daggers as he was brought almost to full height before letting out a loud battlecry and hacking off the hand that clung to his hair. Writhing in pain the beast lashed out at him slashing him across the face but adrenaline had kicked in and he barely felt the blow simply whipping his head back around and lashing out at the creature with his daggers giving it deep gashes through the chest and on the forearm, the one still connected with a hand, as it raised it to protect its face. Then as in counter it brought a fist down hard against the temple of the drow stunning him and knocking him to one knee. Not allowing the drow to regain its senses a heavy boot sent Vry flipping head over heels backwards landing roughly against his stomach. It was getting harder and harder to see and breath as time went on and there was a loud ringing in his ears, all of which prevented him from being aware of his surroundings as the beast closed in on him and snatched him up by the neck as he attempted to get back to his feet. As he dangled in the air, all the young drow could think about was his desire to live, and it was that notion that gave him strength. Having dropped the dagger in his left hand he only had one dagger and one shot... Barely being able to see the elf stabbed at what he thought was the animals neck as he felt the dagger dig deep into the flesh of the beast. After that he felt his body fall to the floor but that was the extent of what he felt before he began to black out, all Auvryarn knew was that he didn't want to die... (Mkay... that was longer than I had anticipated but I hope it was good ) |
((Yeah, I like Auda and Dewey's posting just fine. ^_^ ZOMG IT'S 2 AM! I need some Ramen
That was a cool post, Marsyas.)) Helga nodded to Esmme and, with a smile at the crouching Ehl and almost flying Auda, ran out of the cave to the fringe of the eastern forest again. She loved it here regardless the season, but even more in the winter. Like most nights, though she strained her ears, Helga heard only the snapping of small branches beneath the weight of the fluffy snow. Occasionally, she'd hear an animal turn over in its hibernation and let out a yawn. She peered into the trees and away from them, always using the entirety of her senses to determine the silhouettes around her, and tonight, like most nights, her senses told her this was a lonely night. With a sigh, she wondered when Kej would return. "He must be having luck in de city. . . vith so many people dere," she muttered softly as she gathered snow for a snowman, during a brief break in her searching. |
(Thanks that took time to come up with and make it sound remotely like I wanted it to  )
|
((Wasn't trying to be rude :((( It just bothers me..... sorry again><))
|
no worries, it was a mere misunderstanding. so nothing to worry bout, right?
As Auda finally clears the cave he begins to look for a tree to claim as his own oo! oo! that 1!! As he runs out to his newfound tree, he hears the tell-tale sounds of a scuffle. "Well now, lets go see what we can see". As he swiftly takes to the trees and heads to the sounds of battle. As he gets closer he begins to see a wee elf squaring off with some beast. [i[ what in the 9 hells IS that thing? [/i] he whispers to himself "I have no idea, but lets see how the lad handles himself. He might be worth knocking out and bringing home for the new pup to play with" |
((*chuckle* I'm glad you guys worked it out . . . I got offline and left . . . and couldn't stop thinking about it. :XD I love you guys, and was hoping you wouldn't fight. -_-' *laugh* Thanks for working it out, you two. ^_-))
Esmme heard the commotion not long after she'd left the den. At first, the clan leader followed Helga, but the sound of turmoil - and the scent of an intruder - drew her interest. She swiftly pinpointed the battle, the smell of blood drawing the dark-haired vampire onward. When she caught sight of Auda nearby, she smiled a bit . . . and slid into the clearing near the elf who had been fighting. She had seen his valiant efforts, his wish to live . . . but she also saw his blood, the wounds he received seeming to grow worse even as she watched. Stepping close to the dark elf, Esmme knelt, her cold hands moving to pull his head into her lap gently. "Do you wish to live?" she asked, sounding like the harbinger of mercy herself. Leaning down, she let her blue eyes trail over the drow's features before pressing a hand to his bruised throat gently. "I can give you another life, if you wish it." She would save the explanations for later. Right now, she needed his answer before death stole him from the world. Esmme stroked the silvery hair from his dark features with the loving touch of a mother, a pitying look on her pale face. "Would you choose to live?" - Kej sighed, running a hand through his long gray hair. Another night out on the streets of the city. He promised he wouldn't return without someone, yet the temptation to head back to the den was nearly irresistible. Cold eyes scanned the dark, foggy street once again - nothing. The only thing his keen hearing picked up on was the scattering of rodents and shuffling of the homeless. Where else to look? ((Kej can find your character, Ember. ^_^ Lizz doesn't need to be alone for long!)) |
((Kk. *Gets in Killer Mode*))
Her light blue eyes scanned the alley way as a homeless man stood next to a dumpster going through it for his food for the night. The coldness chilled the air, making his skin prickle and the blood in his veins run quicker to keep his body warmer. She licked her lips as her instincts pushed her off the roof of the building, her eyes turned purple as her boots made a soft thud in the snow below. The homeless man looked up, years of pain in his pale eyes, Years of traveling had etched wrinkles in his sunburnt face. When he saw her, he knew what she was and dropped his bag. "Please make it quick... My wife has been waiting for me for ten years..." he said in a voice that held so much love for a world so cruel. She nodded and walked up to him and pushed his head to the side gently and flicked the skin to make the blood rush to it quicker then groaned as her fangs flicked out and dug into his skin. He wrapped his arms around her as she began to drain him. She held him close as his grip loosened, then slowly his heart beat stopped and she pulled her fangs out and licked the wound to heal. Closing her eyes she slammed his head against the trashcan to mess up his face. ((..................that was longer then anything I've written in.......... awhile......>> sorry...)) |
((Pssh, long posts are good. ^_^))
A thud from a street-side alley ahead caught his attention. The tall elf frowned slightly, but didn't hesitate as he stepped silently forward, carefully looking around the corner of the building. It was then two scents hit him - blood, and vampire. Forcing back the hiss that so readily came to his lips, Kej narrowed his gray eyes and observed the girl. So young. It always seemed that way. Too young to die, too young to live forever. Contemplating just killing her and getting it over with quick, the elf paused, motionless. Those that tasted human blood were demented by the taste, usually turning into creatures that became legends that were feared. This girl didn't seem like a night terror, but Kej didn't bother contemplating it again. He'd been wrong too many times to count, and he wasn't going to start doubting his judgment at that moment. Not when lives were at stake. Slipping into the darkness of the alley, Kej moved until he was behind her, and then lunged forward, his arms wrapping about hers to keep them pinned to her sides. With a hiss, the vampire tightened his grip, meaning to crush the life out of her then and there. The longer she is alive, the more lives are at stake. He continued to repeat such things as he caught sight of her pretty face, small form - she didn't look like a street scavenger. Forcing the vampire to her knees, the elf bore his fangs, preparing to dig them into the side of her neck and kill the other vampire. |
Laying there on the edge of consciousness maybe even life, Vyr thought about his life and how pointless all his ambitions were now if he were to leave this world. And he thought about how folks said that your life flashes before you right before you die, this was a lie if he ever heard one... it seemed he was destined to die alone in an unfamiliar place. But it was just as he was seeming to come to terms with a quiet death that he heard a voice, a woman's, asking if he wanted to live. Although his eyes were open there was no vision, hell he could barely make out the woman's words. Yet still, he managed to find the strength to nod his head and whisper, "I... want to... to... live." At this point he had no idea why he clung to life so desperately but he did, with ever fiber in his body, want to live.
