The annoying notice at the top won't disappear until I post in here. I normally don't post in the thread for new members on any site, but Menewsha simply insists. So I decided that rather than tell Menewsha about myself, I'm going to type a bunch of nonsense about that annoying notice that won't go away until I post. :feesh: So congratulations Menewsha. You have successfully been the first to annoy so much that I posted in the new member thread about it.

Weeeelll, Mene is a different kind of site. (And nice to meet you too, ElvinGoddess.) It really wants us to have conversations and meet people more than just exist and see ads and things.

I'm not big on posting in forums made for new members. On some sites, that's like saying "come here to be picked on for being new", so I just like to avoid it. Even if the site is super strict about picking on people like that. That, and I like to figure things out myself rather than get walk-throughs of how to do things.
