Jesters team - We fired omnomnom, and everyone has checked in except Xion. I sent him a message but didn't get a response.
Facade finally joined up about an hour ago, he was the only one we were still missing. Linnea and carzeebear are gone for the day. Siti will be awake in a couple of hours to try to do the last of BA #8, which probably won't happen since we haven't heard from Xion at all today. |
I sent out a pm to everyone on our team the first day and quickly established that emma quit. ;D Everyone one else is doing good on our team. But I don't think it's fair to allow multiple submissions from people. I was here all day and could have done a lot on my own, but I stuck to the 2 submissions per person rule. I don't think it's fair for my team to miss out because we're following your rules. : / Not that it makes a difference today, but I really, really think it would be a good idea to figure things out before tomorrow. |
2 have never checked in and haven't responded to my PM (death and General), Silver is Running errands, Kage disappeared sometime last night and he hasn't been back since, LaVida is...somewhere. She started working on a task and then left in the middle, so that one's been left unfinished. And Fey is working on number 8, but because we can't get anyone active...well...And Fey just got back from summer school a little bit ago. It's been just me all day. =/

re: Siri's comment - it's different when you have other people helping you and are doing multiple tasks, than having no choice but to do them yourself because you don't have anyone helping.

Hazo - Arabesque Pokemon Theme: YouTube - Pokemon First English Opening <h1>Description (200 words) : Three songs for our street performance will be: The Original Pokemon Opening Theme, Arabesque by Samuel Hazo andMarchin' On by One Republic. Our Opening Song will be the Pokemon Original Pokemon theme song. This song is already known to many people who will be at our street performance. We will be able to start off with how we want to be the best and how we stick together. Many people already know the lyrics and will be able to sing along since crowds usually like knowing the song and being able to sing. Then we will have Arabesque play. Arabesque is a majestic song that starts off mysteriously with a flute solo. Then it progresses into an Aladdin type song but times one hundred. The crowd will love Arabesque and maybe even start “dancing” to it This song we will be able to do one of our best performances to. Our grand finale will be Marchin On to show that we have come through a lot and we continue to do what we want. We will not give up no matter what is in our way. Team Name: Jesters Task #: 8 Assignment: Song #1: YouTube - Patrick Wolf - Accident & Emergency Song #2: YouTube - Flight of the Conchords Ep 8 'Foux Da Fa Fa' Song #3: YouTube - Lipps Inc - Funky Town (HQ-Audio,Stereo) Explanation for Song #1: Well, for starters, we realized that we'd need something suitable for our fire-breathing act. Considering I was the one doing the fire-breathing (and we all know how reliable I am with dangerous equipment!), we needed something catchy to signal for our audience members to call the police... Y'know, in case I suddenly caught myself, the stage, and the rest of the Jesters on fire. So Song #1 (Accident & Emergency by Patrick Wolf) was born! Explanation for Song #2: We planned on doing a pie-baking demo for all of the hopelessly awful cooks out there, and as such something was needed to emphasize BellyButton's culinary skills, ŕ la her years of studying in France with Explanation for Song #3: ...Why wouldn't there be a Jester disco act? And for that matter, why wouldn't Lipps Inc. be a part of such a garish disco act? 'Nuff said, I'm afraid. |
