WHOOO!!

Goblin Maiden 07-14-2010 01:14 PM

*Mai commences to dance like a dork*

Bearzy 07-14-2010 01:15 PM

*carzee joins in, she can't dance any other way*

Goblin Maiden 07-14-2010 01:16 PM

Dancing dorks have more fun! XD

Although I do want to learn how to tango. * 3*

Bearzy 07-14-2010 01:18 PM

That would be fun. But I don't have the coordination. I run like a gimp on gimp tablets. And dance even worse.

PROMOTION STRATEGIES:

Team Name: Artists
Task #: 5
Strategy:

While online, I was distracted by a site called “commissions by saikoro.kitten”. This site was created by an artist on Gaia, named saikoro.kitten. And I actually came upon this site while I was wandering through gaia’s art shop forum. I had found a thread she made where she included a link to real life commissions. And thus I came upon the site "commissions by saikoro.kitten", where I could buy many art styles, such as a chibi, a bust up, a waist up, a knee up, and a fullbody by said person. She has three different style chibis, normal chibis, simple chibis, and rough chibis. Normal chibis have smooth, clean lines and her classic way of coloring (which is soft deep shading). Simple chibis have smooth, clean lines, her classic way of coloring, but have button-like eyes, no nose, and don’t have detailed hands or feet. And rough chibis have sketchy, dynamic and not very clean lines, and simple and messy coloring with no shading. Out of the three, I was very interested in her rough chibis, because they were pretty cheap and I have a deep love for sketchy lines, for some odd reason. Though I was thinking I’d also love some of her simple chibis, they look simply adorable after all. As I decided on what kind of chibi I would like to commission her for, I wandered the site a bit more and looked at the other art she was selling. Being on the Artists team, of course, I deeply admired her art and found she was rather good at drawing hands. I then decided I would like a waist up and a knee up as well as a few chibis. I realized then that it would be rather expensive all together until I noticed that there was a link that led to a page that told me that linearts cost 50% off the original price and another link that led to a page that told me that sketches cost 75% off the original price. So I then decided that I would definitely get a lineart of a fullbody, a few waist up lineart, a couple of lineart simple chibis and as many rough chibis I wanted.

A... gimp? On gimp tablets? O__O;;; *Mai is unfamiliar with these phrases*

And added yours, Itsuna. 8D

Bearzy 07-14-2010 01:26 PM

A gimp is someone with a limp, someone "gimpy" is someone who's limping. as for gimp tablets, well I'm not entirely sure... probably painkillers that make you groggy, enhancing said limp.

Goblin Maiden 07-14-2010 01:27 PM

Oh, okay. I learned something new today! 8D

Hmmm. Time for breakfast! *Mai toddles off to get toast*

Hey, does anyone know the dates for Celes Paradi this year?

Bearzy 07-14-2010 01:29 PM

What's Celes Paradi? I'm intrigued.

Goblin Maiden 07-14-2010 01:35 PM

Celes Paradi is an official Menewsha event. 8D I think it's going to be in the start of August this year. I just wanted to know the dates for it.

Fun :) Anyway here's my second submission.

BACKSTAGE ASSIGNMENTS:

Team Name: Jesters
Task #:3
Assignment: I just got the call, your costume ripped when you tried to put it on? I knew we should have designed those fish costumes better; they looked difficult to get into. Well the only solution is to fix it. It’ll have to be quick though, the show starts soon. Oh I do hope that sewing kit is around here somewhere.

What you need to do, is get inside the costume, and then I’ll fix it up for you, we’ll help you get out of it later, and yes I am aware that you don’t like being the inside of a fish, but someone has to be on the flying fish high wire and you’re the best at it. You’re the only one I trust not to break themselves falling from it. You never fall.

Next time we either need to not have a fish costume, or we need to fix a zipper into it. It breaks every show. I’ll inform the costumes master as soon as we get this show packed up, he’s busy enough as it is, with the camel costume those gypsies commissioned, he doesn’t need our fish as well.

So there you have it, it’ll be fixed for next show, but this time we’ll just have to make do.

Quote:

5. Cripes! Someone’s costume ripped. In 200 words, explain what the costume is, where it was ripped, why it was ripped, and how you are going to repair it. Be creative!
Doesn't explain the where, why, and how. Please edit it so I can accept it at full credit.

Bearzy 07-14-2010 01:43 PM

This is 3... Someone complaining about their costume, I just put that it had ripped as one of their complaints, I hope that clears that up.

FeyonaSaibre 07-14-2010 01:44 PM

Does that mean the Jesters have shotty craftsman-ship if two of their costumes rip? XD (Don't kill me, bear!)

Bearzy 07-14-2010 01:45 PM

JESTERS! And not shoddy craftmanship, just that our performers aren't as flexible as gypsies

Goblin Maiden 07-14-2010 01:47 PM

*Mai headdesks* LEARN TO READ CAREFULLY MAI. DX

I'll add it now.

Bearzy 07-14-2010 01:48 PM

Thankee mai. :) And don't worry about reading carefully, I had to edit my last two submissions because of mis-reading the question.

Goblin Maiden 07-14-2010 01:50 PM

Man, this is what we get for getting up so early, huh? XD
