Seregil smirked at the woman's response. She seemed to be having as much fun as him but that was simple speculation. He noticed that the ladies and his brothers all seemed to be starting to migrate from the room now as they paired up with respective prospects. The thought made him smile as his attention turned back to Sabina that moment, "I disagree, I the exceptions lie in our perspectives. If someone has a drastically different type of personality from ours then many times they will seem odd in our eyes because they see things in an alternative light. And since people are creatures of habit we tend to be around people with similar personalities and beliefs that we have."
Pausing for a moment Seregil removed the hair from his face and tied it in a ponytail behind his head, "Sorry about that, but as I was saying, there will usually be a great discrepancy between people and their preferences. And like you said he or she may look for something as flashy and gaudy as possible but just because another being sees something that excites them doesn't mean that they see it in the equivalent light as the next. Flashy and gaudy to one may just be for them and like I said before plain and simple may be just for another and its not that one is scared to approach the other or not it may just be that its more than they want or its not enough. I do agree though that everyone has one thing or another they have or want that fills them with excitement, all I"m saying is that it may not seem to be filled with 'flash and colour' to that person as you said." His smooth smile had begun to grow a bit, he was having fun and she wasn't attempting to obstruct his calm demeanor either. This was even better than he thought it would be. |
"I might not be....but it's the key to survival...and marriage I a loose term...It's not like there will be a priest or a church..." He laughed softly, "Love is hard....not that I would know...it's just something my mom would say....she said a lot of things like that never explained them just looked at me and said if your meant to know you would...." He frowned looking away if he could he would be blushing, "Ah...I'm....I'm rambling...sorry I do that..."
Cassady paused as she saw one of the boys staring. She looked at him blankly for a moment then smile waving to him her smile returning. She tilted her head studying him thoughtfully. He deffinatly fit what she thought of as a vampire. She got up slowly walking towards him at a forced normal pace. |
Marcius gave her a small wave back, watching as she made her way to him. He studied her as well, taking in her blond hair and wide blue eyes. His own eyes were currently a light green, and they would stay that way unless he grew very angry or hungry. At that time they would turn red, and they also went that color when he fed. Marcius smiled back at her and waited for her to come closer.

Kana set the book she was interested in at that moment on a table and smiled. "No...it's fun to listen to you talk. You're actually quite interesting." she said. She laid down on the floor and looked up at him, smiling a little. "Tell me more." she said.

Lucus stared at her blinking a bit he looked at her, "Th-thank you....I'm not sure what else to say....I mean I guess that's why I read so much....trying to find the meanings my mom never told me..."
Cassady smiled at the young man unafraid, "I'm Cassady!" She said boldly holding out her hand. Another thing she lacked was common fear something about seeing 9/11 happen from your house kinda kills fear a bit. |
Marcius grinned at the girl. He gently held her hand and bowed, his manners were from a different time and he preferred it that way. He kissed her hand gently, then stood straight back up. "Marcius," he said politely and smiled at her again. He was impressed by her lack of fear.

Cassady giggled blushing a bit as he kissed her hand, "That's so cool!" She smiled looking at him, "Marcius...." She nodded, "That's a great name..." She gushed as she thought her mind trying to organize the questions she had.

Kana rested her head on her palms and smiled. "Story time!" she said, laughing a bit. "Do you have any other stories or things your mother told you?" she asked. "I miss my mother...she's probably sent the police out by now..." she said quietly.

Seregil smiled when his twin brother came into sight. This was the brother he was most like, he and Marcius had been born around the same time although they weren't actually twins Seregil liked to say that they were. They did share many of the same tastes and their personalities were similar, not to mention their looks, main differences being their hair length and eye color. Seregil had grown up closer to him than to the others but it was natural since most of the rest of them were three years younger and then they had one older brother who had a tendency to try and force dominion over them occasionally somewhat like their father but it never gave Seregil any problems, he was too laid back to really care. He made a mental note to speak his twin when he had a chance later.

Marcius chuckled to himself. "Well thank you miss," he said, smiling at her charmingly. He held his arm out to her. "Shall we walk?" He offered, watching her closely. He could tell there was a lot she was wondering, and he was glad to have someone who actually wanted to listen and not make assumptions. He looked up and saw his 'twin' Seregil and smiled at him.

Lucus frowned at that, "I'm sorry....If there is a way after all this I'd take you back....to visit....or at least see them again...but I'm not sure if there is a way...." He looked at her sadly, "My mother....she used to say in life surpises made more sense then plans and that spontanious action was better that careful thoughts...."
Cassady giggled a bit taking his arm happily, "Let's shall!" She smiled as she formulated a more reasonable way to asked him questions then just bombing him with them all. |
Marcius chuckled again and began walking, pushing the large double doors leading to the hall out in front of them. He held them open to let her walk through, then gently took her arm again. He smiled at her. "So where are you from Miss Cassady?" he asked in his deep, alluring voice.

"That is what I'm trying to say. Flash is all about perspective. It's not the same for each person, but everyone looks towards something they may consider flash. For example; Here is the stereotype of an accountant. He like things orderly and numbered. But there is this calculator. It has so many nifty little features that he can just get, excited about. Not to mention it comes in three colours. It's flashy and eye catching to him. To me I could care less, it's bland and boring. I wouldn't care if it could calculate the square root of the imaginary zero. As for being around the same beliefs, yes when you speak of close associates, but in our day to day life it's impossible to do that. We are constantly exposed to the different. Being homogeneous is tough, especially when it comes to personality and perspective. To create such a reality would require tyrannical amounts of pressure, education and rhetoric. Even then you’d have differences.”
Sabina paused, her dark eyes looking about the room at the remaining woman and his brothers who were conversing with them. “Your siblings for example. You are all of the same family, but given a question would you not all have a different way of thinking about it? You share similar history and experiences, but I would bet that there are enough that you don’t share to shift how each of them views the same situation. Otherwise you’d all be going after the same singular girl. Which would be a pity for me.” |
"The Big Apple...New York City...." She smiled softly as she walked thinking back on her home, "I lived on the road where one of the scene from Interview with a Vampire was filmed...." She said softly remembering bits of useless trivia.

Marcius nodded as she talked, looking at her calmly. He could hear her heartbeat, but it didn't make him blood thirsty. He had fed the night before, so he'd be good for a few days unless he fought. Marcius chuckled as she mentioned the movie. "New York, you don't have an accent," he said, noticing how most New Yorkers sounded snobbish and nasally.

Alvaro stared at the glass in his hands for what seemed to be hours, focusing his mind on it. Then as suddenly as he was handed the glass, it was completely empty. He wiped his mouth with the back of a hand, spotless, as usual. The dull throbbing that had started in his head had faded and was like an annoying bee buzzing in the back of his head now. He'd have to go to the dungeons later to get rid of his anger...probably have to go tell one of his brothers to lock him down there for the night...
After washing his glass and putting it away Alvaro glanced at a mirror and noted that his hair was back to it's normal color and the jewels under his eye were solid once again. He ran his fingers lightly over them again, reminiscing back to the time when he had gotten them. His mother had always been eccentric...not that he blamed her. She had been a wonderful mother. It was no shock that her death would cause him to break. He shook his head as his eyes narrowed, bad thoughts. Bad thoughts for him to be thinking. He should be honoring the life she had led, not the one that was stolen from her. He pushed away from the counter he had been leaning on and left the kitchen quickly. Maybe the library would be empty today... ((I forgot...in this roleplay do the vampires have reflections? I'll edit after someone replies :sweat:)) |
Kana shook her head. "No, I-I don't think I could stand seeing her again..." she said quietly. "You miss her, don't you." she said, smiling a bit. "That's a good thing." she said. She looked up at him and gazed into his eyes. "You have really pretty eyes...they're cloudy..." she said quietly.

Aysel began walking out of the room, quickly darting through the large doors one of the vampires had opened. She glanced around the hall, going the opposite direction of the pair ahead of her. She ran her hands along the walls gently, taking in the beautiful hallway. She sighed slowly and glanced up at the ceiling, not paying attention to where she was walking. She thought she heard a new set of foot steps, possibly from a bedroom or kitchen, but she brushed it off as her mind playing tricks with her and continued glancing around.

"Ugh...I hate that accent....I'm a bit of an actor....so I can do many different voices...." She smiled, "For example...." She said putting on a excellent British accent, "I was going to auditon for Mary Poppins in a couple month but slight alteration had to be made..." Cassady smiled at Marcious.
He frowned looking down, "Yes....I do...." He smiled softly, "Thank you....my mother said if I was human I would have been blind....." He smile, "Good thing I was born a monster right?" |
Marcius laughed at her impression of Mary Poppins. "Very good," he said and gave her a small applause. He grinned at her, his blue eyes lighting up. "Where'd you learn to act?" Marcius pondered, a small smile still on his face.

Kana frowned and smiled again. "Well...I suppose...but the real question is, do you enjoy being that way?" she asked. "I mean...so different." she added.

"Hah! It's one of the keys to survival in NYC! You see shows and actors all your life growing up and they all teach you something and....." She paused thinking, "It's hard not to be swept into acting..."
"I don't dislike it...." Lucus said, "I don't think I'd like to be human.....the idea of death scares me...." He said softly looking down. |
Marcius smiled as she talked. Her voice was sweet on her eyes and she was very nice on the eyes. "Ahhh," he said softly to her. "Is an actress what you aspired to be?" He questioned, looking at her with gentle eyes.

Kana looked at the ground as well. "Oh...that's right...you can't die." she said quietly. "You live...forever." she added, tearing up a bit. "So um, Lucus...tell me about yourself." she said, still laying flat on her stomach.

"Well it's nice to meet you, Koi. I'm sorry that we have to meet on such horrible circumstances, but I want to make something clear. I think you are stunning, I won't make you marry me if it's not your wish, but I do wish to get to know you," Blaine said coolly. He studied her facial expression, or what was seeable, and he found her attractive. Reaching out for her hand, his green eyes shone as began to speak again. "How about this? I'll take you out tonight, do a little rooftop jumping or pranking someone. What do you say, Koi?" Blaine flashed a fanged grin while he attempted to convince the girl to come with him.
