"Not really, if you wanted to know about my past and family and what not" She said, they all didn't include him. "Honestly I feel like I'm five years old again, with a baby sitter, I don't need someone to fucking baby sit me all the time" She said. She had nothing against Jemini, she was a really nice girl, she just didn't need to be watched over, and protected all the time.
"I won't let him" He said and kissed her forehead softly. He would have to think of a way to deal with this problem, that didn't include killing the Angel, which made the situation even more difficult, he couldn't hurt him because of her, and he doubted he could strike some kind of verbal deal. |
Randy frowned slightly when she cursed. Not that the cursing bothered him, just that it told him it really made her angry. "Have you told her this?"
Jemini looked up at him, worried. "He wouldn't hesitate to kill you if he got the chance....even if I did talk to him." |
"She'll just tell me she has no choice, and that I'm just being difficult" She said with a sigh. "I'm eighteen, I really don't need a friken body guard" She said. "All well guess I have to deal with it" She said
"I can handle myself, believe it or not, but I can" He said with a soft smile. "I just... if he does attack me, I'm not going to let him kill me, and I can't promise I won't accidentally go a little to far" He said |
Randy sighed. "How do you know what someone, you just met by the way, will answer you if you do not ask?" He then smiled slightly at her. "I do think you could take care of yourself....if you knew how to utilize your new strengths."
Jemini looked down slightly, then sort of clung to him. "Just don't die..." |
"Because it's her job" She said and looked up at him "Oh really, and how exactly am I supposed to do that?" She asked. It wasn't like she knew another werewolf that could train her or something and she had no intention of seeking one out either.
"I can't promise that" He said honestly. He doubted he would actually die, but it wasn't a promise he could make. |
Randy rolled his eyes. "She's an angel, but she's with a demon. I also think that if she was so dedicated to her job, she'd be here right now, but she's not." Then he just grinned. "Well, we could look for a local pack for you to join....but I'd never see you if you did. But...if you don't want to, then I could train you myself."
Jemini clung to him tighter. She had to do something...she couldn't lose him...especially not this soon. She'd do whatever it took to keep him alive...even if she couldn't have him. |
"Fine she claims she is, though that kind of pisses me off, that she claims she needs to be with me every second, and she's with a guy" She said "I'm not joining a pack, I'm staying away from that crap" She said "Oh really, train me how?" She asked
"Look let me handle this okay?" He asked. He didn't want anything to happen to her if they already found out about there relationship, that would make things a lot worse for her and they would probably just ship her home. |
Randy sighed and shook his head slightly. "I don't think you get it...she may say she needs to be with you...but that's not necessarily what she wants. She found what she wanted...what she needed and she's going for it." He looked down at her, a little confused. "Are you not here because you want to be with me?" He looked a little conflicted. "I'll fight you. In your human and wolf form."
Defiance flashed in her eyes, but she didn't want him to know that she wasn't going to let him do it alone. "Why?" The defiance showed a little in her voice, replacing her sadness. |
"But she still acts like her job is everything to her" She said with a sigh "I'm here because I want to be here, but I'm also not skipping out on a job" She said "Errr, I'm not sure about that" She said and looked the other way.
"Because I said so" He said and looked down at her "If they sent someone to watch over you, I'm guessing they already know, and things won't be easy, we'd be better off just packing up and leaving, and running away" He said |
"Do you think she is being a hypocrite? Or that she is conflicted? By what her heart is telling her and by what she was raised to do and what her race runs on." Randy did grin at the fact that she mentioned that she wasn't skipping on a job. "Ah. But you're skipping school." He tilted his head slightly. "How can I get you to let me help you?"
Jemini sighed a little angrily, but not towards him. Her whole mood shifted. She wasn't really sad and depressed anymore. She was angry. |
"No idea" She said. "I didn't even want to go back to school this year, but my mom had a fit, apparently I let her down enough by failing a year, I DO BELIEVE I had a good reason for that, and not going back would be a disgrace and shame" She said with a sigh "I don't know" She said. She really wasn't fond of the idea of the risk of hurting him, in the least.
"What do you want to do?" he asked. He got the feeling he wasn't going to get his own way with this one, she wans't just going to give in, and things were going to get back. |
Randy sighed, then pulled her close in a hug. "Your mother knows, doesn't she?" He couldn't imagine how she wouldn't. Then he thought for a moment. "What if I got a friend to watch and calm you down if you get too excited?"
Jemini looked at him, still mad, but some sadness leaking through. "I don't know...but I think I should talk to him...at first at least." |
"Actually, she doesn't" She said. She wasn't sure how she had managed to hid it, but she had. "Don't take this the wrong way, I don't trust your friends" She said seriously.
"I don't think you should" He said with a sigh "But you won't listen to what I say anyway, so do what ever you want" he said as he let go of her |
Randy raised an eyebrow. "Why not? You'd think you'd tell someone you live with that you unwillingly change once a month." He chuckled softly. "I can understand that. But the friend I'm talking about isn't a vampire. Besides, she's a real sweetheart...but she'll put you in your place before you see it comin."
Jemini was surprised that he'd let her go...it also worried her. She gently took his face in her hands and looked at him. "Seth...I do listen to you...but I won't take orders from you." She'd had enough of that. "Besides...I do not want you to be hurt...and I think my talking to him would do more good than you just attacking him when he comes....not much, but more." She kissed him softly and looked at though she didn't want to leave. |
"Because, quite frankly, my mother's a bitch, and she's never home anyway" She said. Her mother was never home enough anyway even when she was 'sick' that year she missed a lot of school. "I still don't trust your friend" She said and glanced away from him, trust wasn't something she had a lot of these days
"I wasn't giving you an order, but like I said, do what you want" he said a bit annoyed "Your stupid if you think talking to him will solve things" He said. He knew if he was here it meant they knew, or they knew something was going, on and he doubted she'd get off the hook that easily. |
Randy nodded slightly. He understood about the parent thing. He sighed softly and kissed her softly again. "What are we going to do then?"
Jemini's eyes narrowed slightly. "If you're going to be rude. Fine." She got up and walked for the door, though really she could've just gone out the window. |
Layla thought some "I don't know" She said with a sigh. She didn't like the idea of hurting anyone "I really don't want to risk hurting anyone, and if I get attacked and I die, I die' She said.
"You really don't get that it's YOU I'm trying to protect here do you?" He asked as he turned and stared at her "Everything isn't as nice and perfect as you would like to think, there going to kill you" He said |
Randy frowned and gently gripped her shoulders, staring down at her. "If you do not want to be treated like a helpless child, you must prove that you are not. If you don't wish to know how to defend yourself, then you'll just have to suck it up and deal with it." He didn't like talking to her like that, but she needed to hear it. "And trust me....you couldn't hurt my friend or me at your level. We're used to dealing with newbies."
Jemini stopped for a moment before going through the door and mumbled something, trying to keep the tears from falling down her face. She opened the door and left, closing it behind her. She knew it was a good possibility that she would die if they brought her back from earth. But...she knew that her brother would not let them kill her....she was his sister after all. But, he wouldn't let her be with a demon either. |
“I’m not going to live my life in fear, I can’t ALWAYS be afraid that I’m going to get attacked and die” She said a bit annoyed “Besides I’m not a helpless child” She said and pulled away from him “I don’t want to learn how to fight, nor do I need to, if I get attacked I get attacked, if I die I die, things happen for a reason, each and every one of them” She said.
Seth sighed some and slammed his fist against the wall, which made a pretty loud noise. This was great, she was going to go to her brother and get herself killed and there wasn’t anything he could do to stop it, because she wouldn’t listen to him. |
Randy looked at her a little sadly as she pulled away from him, but he didn't move to wrap his arms around her again. He just let them hang at his sides. He then looked at the ground between them. "I'm sorry....I just wanted to help....for you to be able to defend yourself. I thought everything happened for a reason too...like when I met you. I believed that, I felt it....but....now its probably just because I was falling for you and didn't want to let you go."
Jemini had broken down in the elevator. She rode up and down on it sobbing into her hands for at least 20 minutes. When she couldn't cry anymore, she finally pulled herself up and forced herself to walk out of the hotel. |
Layla sighed, he was right though, she should probably learn how to protect herself. "Look I'm sorry, but I may not be the strongest, but people need to understand I'm not a child, I'm old enough, and smart enough to understand the choices that I make" She said as she looked up at him "I'm glad I meet you, I really am, and I want to be with you, more than anything" She said
Seth sighed, after a few minutes of standing there and thinking, he left the hotel in search of Jemini. Surprisingly it didn't take him long to find her "We need to talk about this, rationally and you need to consider what I said" He said to her. |
Randy looked at her with a soft look, gently brushing soft hair from her face. "I understand...a little of how you feel." He kissed her forehead. "But, I need to know that you understand how I feel...I don't want anything happening to you...and if you're caught without someone to defend you...I want to know that you can fight for yourself."
Jemini jumped a little high when he spoke. She'd been walking down the street thinking and hadn't expected him to come after her. She turned at looked at him, then sighed. This was getting harder and harder to do. "What is there to talk about?" Her voice sounded resigned. |
[[You know, since the originally plot, was that she was supposed to change things for the demons or what ever, maybe instead of like every other werewolf changing on a full moon, she should be able to control it, and only change when she wants to?]]
"A little of how I feel?" She asked as she looked up at him "Fine, but that doesn't mean I'm very happy about it" She said in a bit of a mumbled tone. She wasn't going to argue with him, about it. "Sorry didn't mean to scare you" He said with a gentle smile, that was the last thing he wanted "You can't do this by yourself, I'm not going to let them take you away from me" He said |

Randy wrapped his arm around her then and just held her. "Thank you..." Jemini looked at the ground for a moment. "He wouldn't let me be taken...because he knows what would happen to me. He is my brother....even though he would ruin my life...he wouldn't let me die." She then looked at him. "Unless there was someone else with him, he would just come after you." |
Layla looked up at him "By the way, you mentioned something about unwilling changing, with the full moon... that doesn't happen" She said "Psh, I'd only agree to it for you" She said
Seth sighed some "That doesn't mean he won't take you away, and you won't get punished, please don't rush into something because he's your brother and you trust him" He said. He had a bad feeling they weren't going to get anywhere with this and it was just going to turn into another fight. |
