Randy blinked at her. "What do you mean?" He smiled. "That's what makes me happy more than anything else."
Jemini looked away for a moment, then bit her lip softly and looked at him. "I understand what you're saying...but how can I not trust my own brother?" Then she sighed and rubbed her arm. "I will not rush into anything...but you have to let me help.." |
Layla looked at him "I mean what I said, that doesn't happen, if I wanted to I could change right now, certainly not unwillingly" She said
Seth sighed "Blood only runs so deep Jemini, you best learn that lesson now" He said. He had siblings and he certainly did not trust them at all. "Fine, but you can't do anything without me knowing" He said |
Randy blinked then raised an eyebrow. "Really?"
Jemini looked at him for a moment, then looked at the ground in front of her. "Fine." |
"No I'm lying to you" she said sarcastically "Yes, I'm serious" She said seriously. Was it really that hard to believe?
'You don't want me involved do you?" He asked, slightly annoyed. He was trying to compromise with her and it didn't seem to be working |
Randy just blinked for a moment, then smiled slightly. "That's pretty rare for a young werewolf."
Jemini sighed, then looked up at him, looking a little sad. "It's not fair to now involve you...I realize that....I just don't want anything to happen to you..." |
"I'm not sure if I should say thank you or not" She said and looked up at him "How are you going to work this training, now that you got me to agree to it?"She asked
"But it's okay for you to go, and for me to have to worry about something happening to you?" He said. That sounded like double standards and he didn't like that |
Randy smiled. "It's not really a good thing, number of enemies wise, but its an advantage." He thought for a moment. "We can use the field around back to practice in, if you'd like."
Jemini bit her lip. "You're right...that's messed up." She sighed and thought for a moment. "Well....what if...you go with me?" |
"Huum why's that? It didn't sound like I was the only one who could do that" She said and glanced up at him "Fine, but not today" She said. Now she was going to have to manage school, homework, and training, the joy.
Seth sighed and looked at her "Me going with you would only make things worse, I think you just need to avoid him, and don't go looking for him" He said |
Randy chuckled softly. "It is pretty rare for new-born werewolves to be able to do that. That makes you all the more special." He then smiled and kissed her forehead. "Alright. Not today."
Jemini just sighed and stood there for a moment. "Alright...but he'll come to me after awhile. If my brother wants you for any reason...there's no avoiding him." |
"You do realize, that trying to manage going to school, studying, homework and training alone might kill me?" She asked
"Yeah but seeking him out is not a smart answer" he said with a sigh "But I get the feeling you'll do what you want anyway" He said |
Randy shook his head. "Naw. You got friends to help you. If you explain it to them."
Jemini shook her head. "I told you I wouldn't...so I'm not going to. But, I can't help it if he comes to me." |
"What friends?" She asked. The only real friend she had anymore was Jemini, and that was only because she had been forced into her life, even though she was nice.
"If he comes to you, don't be stupid and just do whatever he says, trust me, blood only runs so deep and people can turn on you in the blink of an eye" He said |
Randy smiled. "Well, I'm hoping I'm one. Plus, there's Jemini."
Jemini sighed a little irritated. "Look. Do you assume that I'm going to do stupid things constantly or something?" She was getting really annoyed that he kept saying 'don't be stupid and -insert action-' It was really starting to piss her off. She was stupid, nor was much of what she did. "Besides. I only trust most people to an extent. I've learned....painfully not to trust my brother completely." |
"And how are you guys supposed to help me handle all that? There's only so much stress a body can take before it gives out" She said
"NO but I know your a nice person, who thinks everyone is oh so nice" He said. This was stupid, if he was smart he would've just walked away, did his job and never came back "You know what, your right it's your problem, deal with it yourself" He said as he turned and started to walk away. |
Randy shrugged slightly. "We only have to last until you learn how to defend yourself." He smiled gently at her.
Jemini was sort of shocked by his reaction. She knew it was her fault...but she knew she couldn't let him get hurt or do it alone. Maybe she should have just shut up. Slow tears started rolling down her cheeks as she watched him walk away from her...but she didn't go after him or say anything. She knew she deserved it. |
"You know it's NOT your body that were talking about" She said with a sigh. It didn't seem like the fact she'd be stressed and over worked really mattered at all, and that was her health, she was pretty sure she could still get sick and die.
Seth sighed some as he continued to walk away, if she was going to argue with him, he would just do things his own way. Which would be to seek out her brother and handle things on his own, he had always done things on his own he didn't need help now. |
Randy gently touched her cheek and smiled softly. "You know that if you feel overworked, all you have to do is tell me...don't you?"
Jemini finally turned and let her wings grow, not caring who saw and shot up into the sky. She didn't care anymore who knew what she was....not that anyone would've really seen her. They'd have thought they were imagining things. She knew what would happen if the two had met, her brother and Seth. One of them would die...she couldn't let that happen. Even if her brother had betrayed her, he was still her brother....and even though Seth was being like he was, partly her fault, but still his too....she loved him. Even if niether of those facts mattered, she and her brother depended on each other to survive. |
"That's still not the point, really" She said. Maybe she should just stop going to school, but that wouldn't sit well with her mother, and she'd probably end up freaking out on her.
Seth sighed as he headed in the direction, towards where he could sense the angel. It wasn't strong, but he could feel it and he wasn't just going to let things end badly |
Randy sighed softly and pulled her into his arms tightly, but not enough to hurt her. "I will help you...no matter what decision you make...ever. Unless it's giving up...I don't believe in giving up."
Jemini knew she had to get to her brother before Seth did, which is why she was flying...mostly. Also, because she wanted to at least one more time. She flew straight for him, knowing exactly where he was, his mind wasn't blocked....he knew she was coming. |
"Giving up, is such an easy thing to do though" She said. She knew giving up wasn't the answer, and she couldn't anyway, it just seemed like the easiest thing to do.
Seth sighed as he continued on his way towards where he thought he was, or where he was sensing him, he had a feeling this wasn't going to turn out good. |
Randy smiled kindly at her. "I know it is."
Jemini soon found her brother, standing on the roof of a building near the one she saw on the news that got robbed. It was a pretty tall building. He turned and smiled at her. "Hello sister. I figured you'd have figured out I was here soon. So, how's protecting the wolf going?" Jemini just blinked at him. "Why were you sent to watch me, Julian?" Julian |
"Fine, I won't quit or give up on anything, yet" She said. She didn't want to disappoint him, in the least.
Seth reached the building, where he knew the angel was, except this time he sense Jemini around. Maybe he would just wait, in till someone happened, and he had no choice but to help her, prove his point that not everyone could be trusted. |
Randy smiled happily and kissed her softly. "Thank you."
Julian rocked back on his heels, looking innocent, but Jemini could see right through it. He'd always done that when he got in trouble or was caught doing something he shouldn't be. "Oh...well, I just wanted to see my baby sister is all." Jemini scowled slightly. "Bull. Why did they send you to watch me?" Julian looked at her then sighed, dropping the act. "I never could fool you. They sent me because they saw you doing some pretty naughty things with a certain person." Jemini glared at him. "And what did they send you to do?" |
"You're welcome, but I really didn't agree to it for you, but for myself" She said
Seth sighed as he stood there, what if he waited and he wasn't able to get there in time to stop something from happening? But if he got there too fast she wouldn't understand why he had been so harsh and mean, she needed to learn not everything was as good as she thought it was. |
Randy smiled happily and nodded. "That's even better."
Julian looked at her and shrugged slightly. "Just my job. Watch you....and make sure you and demon boy don't do anything else together of course. But, I'm sure you already knew that." Jemini took a step forward, anger in her eyes. "This has nothing to do with them...or you. What I do with my life, as long as I do my job, anyone doesn't have the right to butt their nose in." Julian rolled her eyes slightly. "You know what they'd do to you, right?" |
