i was watching some of that earlier... harry potter i mean... i feel like it has been a while since the last one came out

Yeah. They've been stalling updates for the new movies for HP.
The last one was kind of a let down...they did such a generic Lord of Rings style for Half Blood Prince.

I'm hoping they cut back on that one because they're making the last movies count w/ all the money they can muster for the animation/magic effects. T ^ T

ah man.... i hope it's not a huge let down... *sighs*

I thought half-blood prince was pretty good. not totally accurate to the book but still a good movie. Unlike the travesty that was order of the phoenix. I have seen that movie once and will not see it again and refuse to buy it. It doesn't deserve my money

I think the movies are mostly all good, no great, but good, but I also don't read the books

i have seen all the movies, but i read all the books long before the movies were made... i don't think i'd buy the movies... even though some were pretty good

I always make sure to reread the books right before the movies come out just cuz i want to see how accurate they are.

and I used to be ultra-harry obsessed and now i'm still totally in love with it so I own all the books and all the movies but order of the phoenix

We have the Harry Potter DVD Set ~ I like watching the first one more than the others.

Not all movies are going to be like 'em...but they should. If they're going to take a popular book and turn it into a movie then they should at least copy what HP's author and creator did. And not try to make a quick buck and become stingy with the movie budget like Twilights.

I don't mind if they deviate from the books a little, that's bound to happen, but when I go see a movie from a book and major details are changed and the plot order has be rearranged I have serious issues. I'm still miffed about the third one and where they had Sirius give Harry the Firebolt at the end of the movie when he trusted him when it was like a major plot thing in the book. Plus I was entirely baffled as to what the hell was going on in order of the phoenix and i had read the book the week before seeing it, there's something wrong with that.

he was very good in interview with the vampire, but i don't think he was all that good looking
and these days, yes... he is kind of a bum
