It was really weird, none of these guard had eve seen a girl in armor. To keep them from going anymore insain she spoke little the ocassional look and glare but nothing more. Jet, you've gone mad. You go caught and tripped over a tripline. Worst mistake in the book. She though glaring at the guard for a moment before drumming her fingers idely on the stone floor for a few moments. With a fake yawn Jet put her back against the wall and closed her eyes, never actually going to sleep. Yet she got pretty close to sleeping. |

Prince Kazuko yawned, he was bored. The capturing of the wench didn't help her; he came down into the dark room his icy pale blue eyes bored as ever. Grabbing a torch quickly he shifted beside the guards, he was slim, tall and muscular and to top to top it all off he was the only heir of the Makano kingdom thus his name Kazuko, meaning only child. His bored gaze crossed over the prisoner, "make sure your search her for all weapons." He told the guards in a cool, bored voice it seemed to match his expression perfectly. He looked her over and yawned, "Well, well isn't this interesting? A female knight.." Kazuko sneered. "Your kingdom really let them selves go" he gave a hearty laugh obviously meant to get on the girls nerves. He gave her another sneering look and watched as the guards checked her body for weapons. One of them found a sword hidden under her legs and grabbed it before she could. "Chain her up till some one comes down to give her food, and make sure you give her no knives. She might actually be dangerous." The cocky Prince laughed as if she could really be a threat. |
When he'd insulted Jet's homeland she lost he cool and a set of knives flew at the prince. They were a few inches off due to the close range. She paused and mentally cursed for her miss. Her bright green eyes shpwed her fury twords the prince.
"Blast. A few inches to the left something good would have come to Makano." She flicked each anckel in turn and a set of thrre knives slid out onto the ground. "Even without my knives, or sword I could still kill you." She said before leaning against the wall after she'd been searched by the guards. |
Kazuko growled and waved the guards back as they went towards the girl. He walked over and picked up one of the knives of the floor. Grabbing a single knife he walked towards the girl’s cell till he was standing inside it. He looked might dangerous as he walked over to her calmly and crouched down beside her. He gave her a grin which caused his eyes to close, almost like a fox’s sly smile.
His eyes suddenly narrowed and he pulled her hair back and pressed the knife to the throat. He held it pressed against her throat till he saw a trickle of blood, he then sneered again. Taking the knife back and wiped the one drop of blood onto her cloth shirt, "next time, it will be your whole throat you'll see on this knife and not just a single drop of blood." Kazuko's voice was melodious yet threatening. "So from now on try to be a good girl and no harm shall come to you, okay?" Kazuko gave her the same sly smile again. Before getting up he patted her head, "I hope you and my guards shall get along fine Miss...” he trailed off not knowing her name; his brow was raised as he looked at her. |
Jet knew she wouldn't win if she retaliated so she let him nick her throat and she rolled her eyes where he smiled at her. in your dreams She though glaring at him.
"You afarid of cutting your own hair? It's Jet. Not Miss, Jet." She said after he'd finished before ripping the edge of her shirt the dab at the blood. When t had stopped she sighed and slipped the scrap of bloddied cloth into her boot. "You never know what something like that could come in handy." She said with a slight grin. It wouldn't hurt to be friendly with him. |
Kazuko smiled, "that's better Miss Jet." he said lightly bowing his head. He then turned back to the guards and spoke in a slur of Japanese, he told them to chain her up good and tight. He grabbed the torch from its holder and looked back as the guards started to shackle her, with a quick smile and a mock bow he was gone.
Kazuko reached his throne room and yawned, he tossed the blown out torch to the servant that was standing beside him. "Send her food, it doesn't need to be the good kind just as long as its edible." He told the maid, 'we'll see how long you can last Miss Jet' Kazuko thought to himself with a smug smile. |
Jet longed to slap some sense into that prince. It was late at night Jet felt through her boot heels, they were buckled in the back and held an array of random things.
The knight chuckled to herself, she had a few needles that were used to pick locks but were still sharp enought to be dangerous. The most they could inflict was a flesh wound but it would still hurt. It was probably three days before Jet had finally gotten sick of the food. She'd mingled with the guard fairly well and they played the equivelent of darts. The afternoon shift brought down a wooden board one day and Jet had snatched a dart and hit the ring outside the bullseye. From there it became a fairly common thing for her to be throwing darts with those two. On the fourth day since Kazuko had visited Jet waited for the afternoon shift to come down and she pretended to be trowing darts at the two current guards. |
Kazuko was lazing around like usual, he wasn't interested in that afternoons math lessons. He hated math and science, what need did a king have for those any ways? As long as you had wits and charms and the greatest army in the world...you could gain anything you wanted.
He rocked back and forth in his chair. His face had a spaced out expression, he had his fist in balls and was now propping his chin onto his fist. He shook his head and looked at the daily tutor, he pouted then got up reluctantly. Kazuko rolled his eyes as the tutor yelled for him to sit down, paying no attention to the man he left and breathed out a sigh of relief once he was free. "Maybe it's time I go check up on the prisoner to see that she is staying well out of trouble" he said speaking to himself. He saw the maid and smiled and told her he would be more than happy to take the food down for her, giving her a playful wink he took off with the food. He climbed carefully down the stairs till he was in front of Jet, she opened up the cell door and pushed the food in. "Eat up, I'm not exactly as patient as the guards down here." Kazuko told her shrugging. He stood leaning against the door, arms crossed over his chest and occasionally running his fingers through his dark red hair. |
Jet ate alowly as to tick him off and pushed the tray back. She flicked a few of the larger crumbs at him. One his him right between the eyes.
"Point for Jet." She said to herself with a slight smile. Jet leaned up against the wall and closed her eyes and yawned. "Your not quiet how I rember you. Your to quiet and not as obnoxious." She said grinning to herself. |
Kazuko scowled, what more could he expect from a wench? 'Immaturity, great.' he thought to himself. He had an urge to kick back the crumbs at her but decided to be the mature one and cleared his heads out of such a though. "I am quiet because of the way you look, it scares me into being some one else" he said grinning, "and that was a score for Prince Kazuko" he stuck out his chin in superiority.
He snickered at her comment, "would you like me to be obnoxious my dear?" Kazuko said giving her an evil grin. "Because I assure you I have many ways to entertain my myself in painful ways. And it would give me particular pleasure to indulge in causing pain a girl like you" As he said this there was an evil glint in his eye, he could just imagine himself in the torture chamber. He gave her a dark laugh before ordering a guard to pick up the tray and take it back up. |
Jet shook her head and ran a hand through her hair.
"Your high and mighety attitude is back Mr." She said opning an eye for a moment before closing it again. "And... did you just call me 'my dear'?" She asked. "That could only mean you either want to drive me mad or have a crush on me. Personally I hope your trying to drive me mad." Jet continued before pausing to let him awsner. |
Kazuko snorted, "have a crush? And on a wench like you" Kazuko laughed. He was holding his stomach as his eyes watered slightly from the humor he was trying hard not to collapse on the floor. He got up and shook his head majestically, "my name is Kazuko" he said trying not to burst out again.
"Enjoying your time here till now? Because I will be driving you even madder if you do not behave and tell us the plans of your kingdom" as fast as Kazuko's face had lit up a few moments later his eyes were cold and serious again. Having fun and interrogating were two seperate levels of things. |
As he was stating his name Jet facepalmed and shook her head.
"I know what your name is, learn the enemy. Day 1." Jet said leaning up against one of the side walls and looking at the other. "Yes I am enjoying it here. The food is certinly better than what you've been feeding your horsemen when we found them. A girl loyal to Phantasma knows more than I'm willing to tell you about Phantasma." |

The Prince rolled his eyes, "yeah well what ever, it was my formality to introduce myself and I have just completed my job in doing so." He told her in a matter-o-factly voice, Kazuko shrugged. "You are only being treated this way because we hope that you will later cooperate when the time comes" Kazuko said in his low cool voice. His eyes narrowed and he shrugged, walking over to her her pulled her arms up with force harsher than necessary and shackled her to the wall again. "Well, I guess that is up to you, but let me tell you right now. It is best if you cooperate with me, because you cooperating will be the only way you shall survive down in this hell hole." Kazuko finished of his threating speech with an evil smile. |
"If I do help you I can get out of here and can do so unshackled?" She might as well know if it was a half way decent way to become a traitor.
Jet mentally kicked herself for thinking about becoming a traitor. It would be to the guilliteen if anyone figured out about this back home. |
Kazuko raised his eyebrow, "Hmm.." he said quietly. "Tell me and if I find the information worthy enough I may decide to free you Miss Jet." He said smoothly. Out side his features were smooth but inside his mind was whirling, he was wondering wether the information she would give would actually be worth something. Kazuko watched her face facial expressions for anything but failed to find a break through.

Jet smiled, mimicing his sly smiles that appeared every few minutes.
"Wat information I give you all depends on what I can get out of this deal before I even say a word." She said, she trying to get something out of his expression but failed. |
The Prince shrugged, "well I can promise you your freedom and thats about it I guess." Kazuko said shrugging. Of course he had no intentions of letting the prisoner go he didn't want to let her know that. Kazuko thought about what would happen if he let her go, the most obvious answer was that she would go run back to her kingdom and tell them about the huge attack they were planning to over throw their king.

Jet sighed and glared at him.
"I just can't get anything out of you can I?" She said in a half statement has question tone. Jet was ticked and just wanted to get out of there and settle in her quarters back in Phantasma with a good book. |
Kazuko gave her a sly grin and a small wink, "I guess you can't, mostly because in the corner of my mind I know you are going to betray me and just run away with out any information, then I'll be all helpless" he told Jet shrugging. He knew this was true no matter how much she denied it, because he knew he would never betray his kingdom even if it cost him his life.
The Prince yawned bored again, "wow your just as boring as my boring as my math professor, at least" he told her rolling his eyes. Why were people so boring these days? He shook his head and continued to stare at her . |
Jet shook her head and tried changing the subject.
"Presuming that you actually have a library It wouldn't hurt to ask if you have anything in Elven, Drake, Romanian or on Makano history?" She asked. "I've run out of things to read back home and need something new." Jet continued, she wanted to change the subject away from war to something else. She closed her eyes and imagined all the new books that would be at home after the war. |
The Prince nodded, "We might have Romanian and Elven and I can have the librarian check for Makano and Drake" he said trying to recall the books he might have had in the library. He put his hand in front of his mouth before yawning, "Want me to bring down something?" he asked her shrugging, he realized he could do with some reading too.
Maybe before heading to the library he would get something to eat again, it had been a while since he had breakfast and he was partially starving. He leaned his weight against the dungeon walls inside her cell and closed his eyes, half asleep and half thinking. |
"That would be nice." Jet said taking note the the prince was tiring. She would have offered the possibilty that she could come and pick out her own books but that wouldn't be a very good idea, considering her current disposition.
Jet wondered what kinds of books the prince would bring down, and if she'd be able to read them in the current lighting. The light that came through the cracks would sufice for a halfway decent lighting, adding the torchlight it would be decent enough to read without straining her eyes too much. |
Kazuko looked at her and unchained her, he grabbed her hands roughly behind her before commanding her to walk up the stairs. "Walk, you can't possibly expect me to let you read in this kind of lighting. It would destroy your eyes, but I would advise you to not run because I have my knights every where." he told her in a dangerous voice.
He let go of both her hands and just grabbed one from the wrist, he half dragged the girl up many flights of stairs till they were in the highest tower. Prince Kazuko's personal library, he opened the door and shoved her inside he walked in after her but not before telling the guards to be extra careful. |
Jet did as he asked. While Kazuko was speaking with the guards she began scanning the shelves for anything in elven.
"God, this place is bigger than my library." Jet said after picking out a book and leaning against one of the walls. fter that she was in the book. It was thick and the cover was obviously hand painted. It was actually a book of old elven legends, almost like greek mythology. |
